0:00 Hello everyone, I'm James Lasher with Charisma Media and we have another reaction video for you And just like Pastor John Hagee's first reaction video that we did this one is an amazing video that we highly recommend you check out This is by Dr. Ron Kenoly, that's right the man who brought us from the early 90s I believe 92 is when the album came out Oh ancient of days The that song was a part of my childhood growing up and then he was also on the cover of Charisma magazine circa February 1994 if that isn't just the greatest print ever That sums up the 90s and how all these photoshoots used to go with the nice little sweater vest and everything We love Dr. Ron Kenoly here and he is still as a worship leader preaching the word of God Across the world and so what we have here is a short clip We're gonna play and we're gonna react to what he is doing during the middle of a praise and worship set at a church and just how strong and anointed in the Lord that this man really is and just he got me really Centering myself and asking myself am I making the Lord God the center of my praise and worship or is there Distractions around that I'm allowing to enter into this time of intimacy with the Lord And so let's go ahead take the clip and see what dr. And then when he asked do I have the authority you you can distinctly hear the pastor say yes, sir and and that is just an incredible example to me and to all of us of Of what that Christian submission is you even when you're in a position of authority like Dr. Kenoly is he is he is a world-renowned?

I'm rebuking you cause I love you That's right. And let me tell you everything that he is saying You can tell in his in his tone in what he is saying and how he is saying it. Dr. Kenoly As he said in 43 years of ministry is doing this in love. He didn't get angry He didn't strong arm the audience and and just throw Anger their way He showed them love as a teacher as an elder as somebody who has been in this position and as the pastor said But as also the Lord has placed on him the authority of the worship leader to teach and instruct to

6:47 To lead those into the worship of God, but also maintaining that it's not him on stage. It's not the worship band It's not the singers. It's not the audience. It's not the pastor. It is the focus on God and the Lord and we enter into his gates with thanksgiving and praise And then it is the worship that we just delve deeper into his presence and that he said he would It would be a failure on his part if he didn't teach and instruct that and that's these people are getting a sermon within the praise and worship of it that is just Outstanding that this isn't just For this church audience. This is for all Christians everywhere to like he said they are being casual about the presence of God and that is And the complete opposite of what?

7:34 Must be taken seriously The presence of God is a serious matter an important matter and an intimate matter So when your focus isn't on the Lord, it's on Maybe you have a celebrity worship leader or something and you're taking these pictures You're taking these videos your focus is on that person You're not focused on worshiping the Lord and that's that's something that people around the world maybe Even how he addresses it It's not that they're doing it out of An intent to disrespect the Lord. It's it's a casual attitude that they have About the worship of God that needs to be taken more serious because he is holy He is worthy of praise and to be glorified just oh he could do a whole sermon on this Okay, now we're gonna do this song again And if you're not hired to run a camera Put your camera down and let's just worship the Lord. Okay You deserve the glory So that's where we'll leave it today just a short clip of dr ron cannoli having a short educational You know discussion with the church that he's at that is so important to the Christian church as a whole today That we need to take this time with the Lord seriously And we can't just have it be okay. 9:06 No, you need to focus on the Lord and let the Holy Spirit Move how he wants to move just like recently here in the united states free chapel by By pastor Jentezen Franklin and evangelist Perry Stone They they just had revival surfaces for nearly two weeks and they said we don't know how long this is going to go We don't know when it's going to end. We just know that the holy spirit is moving We're not going to get in the way of what the Lord has planned And that's along the exact same spirit of what Dr Kenoly is preaching about praise and worship is Put the focus on the Holy Spirit. Let the holy spirit lead this worship of the Lord and it's just Something the Christian church really needs to get back to for our edification And but more importantly for the glory of God to to put him back at the forefront to not be You know seeker friendly and have everything just organize, you know This is what we're going to do and we're not going to let anything Alter our organization and don't get me wrong I'm somebody who loves an organized, you know calendar. I like oh, this is what I have coming up This is what we're doing But sometimes we need to be able to submit ourselves to the movement of the holy spirit and abide by His schedule what he wants to do and we do that when we make him the focus of these moments of opportunity These praise and worship services that we have on Sunday mornings or Sunday evenings or Saturday evenings or or midweek services or Time alone in your car time alone and time alone in your home
