I'm John Madorazo for CharismaNews.com and these are your top stories of the week. A massive revival moment as 10,000 seek Jesus at the University of Arkansas. In the fourth major collegiate revival in less than a month, which is really exciting, thousands of students gathered at the University of Arkansas Thursday night, September 19th, to seek Jesus Christ and find salvation in His name. Unite US reports that 10,000 students from 67 different universities gathered in the Bud Walton Arena.

0:45 In a post on Instagram, they said, Jesus met us there. We were blown away by His presence in the room and how it carried over to baptisms. It was a night we'll never forget. You can click the link in the story here to see that testimony on this in this article here. But it is so exciting to see that there are revivals happening all over. The Holy Spirit is being highlighted in some very interesting places. And we're going to talk a little bit deeper about this one. Tucker Carlson continues his tour and he is talking with people that are really unexpectedly bringing the focus back to God. And James, it's great to have you here to talk about what Alex Jones, the founder and creator of Infowars, said recently with Tucker Carlson and Jack Posobic.

1:35 Actually, what he was saying about God was really profound. And we've got a couple of clips that we're going to play. But James, you had a chance to look at this already. What are some of your initial thoughts? You know, God's using really incredible voices that you're not expecting to hear talk about the Holy Spirit from. And He's doing something new in America. This tour is supposed to be political. But instead, almost every single stop that Tucker does, God becomes the focal point. He's the focal point in the talk about culture and society. And it's really an amazing thing that we're getting to witness right now. Yeah. Well, let's take a look at this clip, because actually what Tucker says is really interesting at the beginning.

2:18 I grew up around religious people at all. I didn't go to the church my grandmother went to at all. I've worked in the media my whole life in a big city up until five years ago. And in the last year, I know more people in my secular world who were mentioning God in conversation. And I don't know if you're having this experience. It's very striking to me. Do you notice this now before before we let Alex Jones give his answer here? This is something that we've been picking up on. And we've actually done a lot of stories about this here at Charisma News. But it seems that more secular influencers are openly talking about God, whether it be a fledgling faith or something that they've been hiding for a while.

3:06 But this seems to be more and more mainstream in a ways. James, what's your take? Well, we're seeing a lot of celebrities really have their souls stirred by the Lord, really, who have no background in church, no understanding, really. But they just know that something is off, that there's a permeating evil in our culture. And God's you know, they're convict. He's convicting their hearts. The Holy Spirit is getting in these people's lives. You see it talked about by people who aren't even Christian yet. You know, like Joe Rogan, the largest podcaster in the world. Kat Von D gave up the occult and alcoholism and got baptized in the name of Jesus. You see this time and again that God is starting to really stir the hearts of those who influence the culture that we live in.

3:53 And it's it's not anything that somebody could have predicted. His ways are higher than our own. But he's definitely moving in American culture, and it's so encouraging to see. Yeah, God is using voices. And I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that the church maybe isn't using our voice the way that we're supposed to. And in fact, if we don't cry out for Jesus, then Bible says that the rocks will cry out. And let's listen to one of those rocks right now. When we followed God, we had nothing but prosperity and success. We got rid of God. Everything fell apart. I mean, people think Texas is a boom place. It's got the crime, the filth, the Satanism, the degeneracy, the pedophiles.

4:34 Pennsylvania, gorgeous state, fell apart in 10 years. California, one of the most beautiful places in the world. Total deep red. Ronald Reagan. Total crap hole now. It's spiritual blight. And people are recognizing that because now they understand we are getting sucked down a vortex into literal hell. We got to reach back up to God and God will take us out of this. Wow. OK, so God will take us out of this. And we I mean, we got to reach up to God. That's I think the key takeaway for there is that we need to identify that we don't have the answers and God does. Right. Yeah. And, you know, there is only one hope for the United States.

5:14 And his name is Jesus Christ. And one thing that I thought Alex did exceptionally well is he is pointing and highlighting the spiritual battle that America is in, the spiritual warfare that we as Christians are called to engage in that Paul writes about, you know, against the powers and principalities and rulers of darkness. And we've seen God removed by the Supreme Court of America from the classroom. And we're dealing with the ramifications of that. And Alex does an exceptional job at pointing to us, removing him from our culture as the causation. You know, America turning its back on God as the reason these things are happening today.

5:54 Now, we we we don't stand by necessarily 100 percent of what of what Alex Jones says. But whenever he's talking about God, we want to give commentary about that because he is providing focus and attention where we should be giving the focus and attention. And so we've got one more clip that we're going to play here, too. Well, I never claimed to be some saint or, you know, tell me what other lives. I'm definitely not perfect, but I'll tell you what I've been doing since I was at least 18 years old. And I became a Christian before that. But it was it was it was like I'm a Christian, but I really wasn't truly born again. You got to get on your knees in the morning or in the middle of the night or whenever you wake up. You got to get on your knees. You got to tell God, I can't do this.

6:36 I need you. I need you to come into me and take control and leave. Got to direct me and tell me what to do. And you've got to and you've got to change your values to where you don't care what the world says or what the system says. You care to do what what the conscience that God gave you that guardian angel that you know is right there looking over your shoulder tells you to do. And you've got to not be a coward and you've got to be strong. And the minute you step across that point, you don't even have courage anymore. You're on a mission and you're not possessed by the Holy Spirit, but you let it in. And it's now driving and in control.

7:17 And now you got God behind you and nobody can stand against us if God's with us. Wow. I mean, that's some good preaching right there. Yeah, that is some good preaching. And you can see you can hear that the audience is really cheering them on with that because they're in agreement. And I find it very interesting that he's not just talking about the ethereal God, the higher power. He's specifically talking about Jesus and the Holy Spirit, which I kind of feel like the Holy Spirit gets left out and most of these most of these public conversations. But here the Holy Spirit is being highlighted. James, what's your takeaway about that?

7:59 Well, we've seen like a lot of Christians have abandoned the spiritual side of things. There is, of course, the natural, but there's also the spiritual. And Jesus sent us his helper, the Holy Spirit, part of the triune God to empower us to have this power to affect culture, to affect society. And the society that we are seeing in America today is uplifting and promoting pride. While what Alex said, we need to get on our knees. That is a symbol. That is an act of humility. And God, it says in his word, he uplifts the humble and those who prostrate ourselves before him and say, God, I can't do this without you. I need you. It's in our weakness that he is strong. Yeah.

8:41 James, four, ten humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up. You know, it's easy for us to try to puff ourselves up and make ourselves bigger. But we get strength and power when we rely on the Holy Spirit and let him fill us and let him lead and guide us. That is really interesting to see what is happening, what is continuing to happen on these Tucker Carlson tour, where literally they are just hosting conversations in front of a live audience. And we saw just the tremendous things that have happened with people like Russell Brand and what happened whenever he had this amazing prayer at the end. We've just seen the change in his life and we want to continue to pray for the people that are maybe highlighted on this tour or whatever else that they are they are doing where they're bringing the attention to the Lord as he is changing their lives.

9:32 Whether they're been Christian for a while and they're mature or they're baby Christians, they're focusing on God. And that's what we as the body of Christ need to be doing is getting the attention back to him. Amen. Now here's a rare discovery from Egypt that points to the Exodus, which is really cool. I love archaeology. A discovery in Egypt announced by the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities revealed an ancient fort, which is believed to be 3200 years old and which gives further confirmation as to who the reigning Pharaoh was when Moses led the Israelites out of bondage in the book of Exodus. And you can see in this article of the different artifacts that were found, but this particular sword that's right here on the screen has a very unique inscription on this and a bronze sword in an incredible condition for its age board the an engraved symbol of Ramesses the second, giving credence to his being the ruler during the time of Moses and the Exodus from Egypt.

10:35 Really interesting here I love archaeological articles and finds like that so keep our eyes open as more things come uncovered. Now speaking of uncovered. Stephen Lawson resigns from one passion ministries after the, the affair that he had has come to light now this article from a week ago has definitely been getting a lot of attention, Stephen Lawson has resigned from one passion ministries following his exit from the church of Dallas. Again another Dallas church that has gone through tremendous scandals or trials. It's definitely spiritual warfare for the congregation with a leader that has fallen.

11:21 It's very sad keep praying for Dallas churches. The elders of Trinity Bible Church of Dallas announced this announced the news yesterday, September 19, that Lawson was removed from his position as the pastor of the Dallas church due to an inappropriate relationship with a woman. Now, one passion ministries which Lawson founded has announced his resignation from their ministry site. And here's the post here, the board of one passion ministries mournfully announces that just recently, Stephen Jay Lawson confessed to the board that he has had an inappropriate relationship with a woman, a sin that has disqualified him from ministry, in response, Stephen has resigned from all of his duties at one passion ministries, sadly more details have emerged over the Stephen Lawson firing.

12:14 Bill Johnson and executive director of grace to you, which, who is also an elder of john mccarthur's grace community church gave the details of the inappropriate relationship. And he has since deleted this, this x post, but it said it was inappropriate is too ambiguous, as if someone merely caught them holding hands. This was a five year relationship with strong romantic overtones. Both parties insist no literal fornication was involved but they're tied to one another was adulterous in spirit, if not, in fact, he Johnson claims that the woman in question was decades younger than Lawson, he was 73 she was in her late 20s.

12:57 You can see the screenshot of the x post that was there that has been since removed. Stephen form the elders, but only after the girls father had confronted Steve and threatened exposure. This was not a notable confession of sin, according to Johnson. So we just keep saying, pray for all these people that are involved we want things to be exposed and brought to light that need to be exposed. And, but we don't want people to be hurt in the process, pray for all of these stories and all the people that are involved with that pray for Alex Jones pray for Tucker Carlson, pray for Russell brand pray for Glenn Beck all of these people that we've been talking about and they are focusing their attention to the Lord.
