COMEBACK AFTER A CRISIS

One of the most courageous brave heroic acts in the Bible was performed by a woman who lost her husband and her two sons Hi, I'm Michelle Corral and that woman was Naomi Many of us do not understand how God is the God who can turn a mistake into a miracle, and is the God who uses grief toward greatness. Beloved saints, would you like to be a recipient of God's grace that his grace would be so powerful upon you that he would use every ounce of grief for greatness in your life? Beloved saints, we can see how this is done. And today I want to share with you three powerful pillars before we go

1:35 to the Word of God live from Anaheim, California. I want to share with you three distinct pillars that will turn your life around. I call these pillars the prophetic principles that turn grief into greatness for the glory of God. The first pillar is the pillar or prophetic principle of how a decision, one decision can change a destiny. You know, beloved saints, we have to be able to make that decision that we are no longer going to stay stuck in a place of pain in a place where we have perhaps made a mistake or someone we love has made a mistake or where we dwell in the land of loss and say, I'm drowning in this desperation. I'm in the land of loss. I'm so broken. I can't get up. I'm so discouraged. I don't know if there is a future. I want you to understand that the Bible is a book that is written to validate those that have been through the pathways of pain in life. The Bible is a book that shows us not just dead history, not just

3:05 events that happened. The Bible was not written just so we know events happened. The Bible was written so that we might have a path, God's Word, which is available to us just as much today as it was thousands of years ago. It is written to validate your pain. The Almighty wants you to know that He understands your painful plight. He understands what you've been through. He can turn that desperation and build upon that desperation and use it toward great restoration in your future.

3:49 You can become a Naomi. I want you to know how Naomi picked up the pieces of the death of her husband, the deadly decision of her husband to be so selfish as during a time of famine, to withhold his ability, to share his wealth with the poor. Eli Melech, who was known in the Bible as a judge of Israel in the days when the judges ruled there was a certain man from Bethlehem Judah who went down to Moab, to Sojourn there. There was a famine in the land. Today, beloved people, there are famines, but also not just famines of bread. We can have a famine in our life, a famine that is financial, or a famine of disappointment. There are various types of famine. The Book of Amos speaks of a famine of God's Word. A time when we're living with loss.

4:57 And I want you to understand how Ellie Mallott so selfishly responded to the famine. He took his wife and his two sons and rather than having the ability, which he was more than able to share his ability and abundance with others who were starving, who needed help, rather than helping them. He squandered what God gave him, and he fled to the country of Moab, a place that would never convict his conscience, a place where he could be comfortable with compromise. And I want you to know, Elie Melik died. And his two sons also died. And Naomi was faced not only with the death of her two sons and her husband, but now she's in a place of critical crisis. She is in a place where the loss of everything, financial, financial loss, economic loss, the loss of her sons, the loss of her dignity, the loss of their position as the aristocracy of Bethlehem Judah.

6:16 now makes one decision. And that decision changed her life. It was a decision for destiny. And that decision for destiny is also based on another powerful prophetic principle of how we turn grief into greatness, how God turns grief into greatness. And that is that destiny decision, that deliberation. must be made based on the visitation of God. You see, the Bible tells us that Naomi had heard that the Lord had visited her people in giving them bread. So I want you to understand Naomi made a destiny decision based on the fact that she knew visitation had come back to the land that God had visited his people in giving them bread. And her decision was, I'm not going to be a spiritual agoraphobic. I am going to return to the land. I am going to rebuild my dream.

7:29 I'm going to rebuild my husband's dream. I'm going to return to the land of Israel. Though I have to face many things, I have to face the consequences of my husband's deadly decision. I'm going to go back courageously. I'm going to pick up the pieces because the visitation of God compels me, because I want to be back in God's will, because no matter what, no matter what price I have to pay, with tears running down my face, with the grief that I'm bearing in my heart, with the shame that confronts me in the land of Bethlehem, I have still made that decision to return to Bethlehem. that I might be able to again regain my place and my position through the visitation of God. prophetic principles, one deliberation that will bring us into the decision for destiny and two, the visitation and that visitation moving toward the move of God, moving toward the visitation of God, the most powerful prophetic decision, the most successful success oriented decision a person can make.

8:51 is to move toward the anointing, to move toward the will of God, to move toward the power of God, to break out of the bondage of the past into the promise. And the third pillar or the third prophetic decision, the third prophetic principle is that Naomi is going to make a decision for liberation, deliberation, visitation, and liberation. That decision for destiny is going to break her bondages. That decision to move toward the visitation of God, moving toward the anointing, moving toward the power of God is going to break bondages in our own lives. 9:41 And I want you to prepare for the message. I will not return. empty. God is not going to allow you to return empty. Though Naomi said, I left full, but I'm returning empty. God is going to see to it that the Boaz blessing will not allow you to return empty. Millions of people all over the world suffer various levels of grief, despair, and discouragement. 10:25 We can come back after a crisis and we can see that the God of Israel is a God who is a God of rewards. He will reward those who show kindness. Join us today as we go live in the service with Dr. Corral. We have a choice in the matter. You see, beloved, let me share with you. Naomi made the decision not to be a spiritual agoraphobic. You say, what's an agoraphobic? An agoraphobic is someone who never leaves their room. An agoraphobic is someone who is afraid to go outside or go to a new place. They don't wanna go, they're afraid. An agoraphobic is someone, I remember years ago, I heard about this beautiful, famous actress from way back in the 40s. She would never go out in public because she was afraid. She spent the rest of her life in a room and in a house because she could not leave that place.

11:45 God understands why we can't leave a certain place. We're stuck. We have anxieties. We have fears. We're afraid to let go. You see, some of us are stuck in that grief. And Naomi... was so intensely affected by sorrow that she wanted an identity change. When she went back to Bethlehem, the women were moved and they said, is this Naomi?

12:27 She said, don't call me Naomi. Call me Mara. For the Almighty, has dealt very bitterly with me. You know, Naomi, obviously from blaming, putting the blame on herself, the Almighty has dealt bitterly with me. It's as if, and you can see from the context, she is blaming herself for her son's deaths. She's blaming herself for her husband's death. She said the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. Don't call me Naomi.

13:13 Call me Mara. Mara means bitter waters. Some of us have allowed trials, tribulations, rejection, hurt, what people think of us, what people have said to us, to give us a new identity. But I've got a word for you. You don't need to stay stuck in spiritual agoraphobia. God wants to bring you out now. He wants to bring you to your true self and your true identity. Somebody say I'm coming out of this. Deliberation. Say it with me. Deliberation. Divine deliberation. You're gonna make a decision tonight to come out of the maze of Moab. The second is the only way you can get out. of the maze of Moab and make a decision that will change your destiny, you're not gonna stay stuck. You're coming out. You're not gonna allow the maze of Moab. What is a maze?

14:16 A maze is a place that you're caught in that you can't find an exit. Some of us are seeking for exits and we can't find it because we really want to stay in Moab It's safety for us. It's a coping mechanism, but it's a sick one It's very bad when we can't get closure and so we blame ourselves It's very bad when we put a heavy guilt trip on our own self that were not even in the eyes of God were not guilty, but she had enough chutzpah. And what gave her the chutzpah to leave was that notice. Verse six. She arose with her daughters -in -law that she might return from the country of Moab. And the Bible says for she had heard in the country of Moab that the Lord had this Visited his people in giving them bread. She said God is in the land I'm going back. I'm going for a visitation. I'm moving toward the presence of God I'm moving toward the anointing. I'm moving toward a visitation.

15:35 Are you hearing me? Say this with me deliberation and visitation The visitation is the move of God in our lives. And the third one is determination. As she started to leave, she realized, I can't take these girls with me. She's lost everything. I have to go back to the place that my husband shamed the name of the family. once the most aristocratic family in Judea, in Bethlehem. Now, facing the people that her husband let down by his selfishness because he went to Moab to spare his wealth. He went to Moab because he didn't want the paupers begging at the door, little children saying, feed us, feed us, we're hungry.

16:53 Help us, Ellie Malik, help my children, they're gonna die. No. He needed a place where he would not be convicted with his conscience. He needed a place like Moab where the culture agreed with his behavior, where they have no conscience. Are you with me, saints? And so now she has to go back to the village of Bethlehem where her husband was once a judge and face the people. But she's so determined. She's so determined to get back into God's will. She's courageous.

17:38 I want you to know what courage really is. Courage isn't just standing in front of a firing squad. Courage is standing up to say, I'm going to do God's will no matter what it costs me. Courage is no matter what I have to face, what kind of personal loss I may have to go through. Whatever I feel whatever I have to let go of in order to get back in the will of God I'm going to do it. Are you with me? That takes courage Put your hands up and say I want to be bold and get back in the will of God. I want to be bold So she realized I can't take the girls and She actually shows us her coping mechanism We all have coping mechanisms when we go through tragedy We're not perfect and God doesn't expect us to be some of our coping mechanisms are very very toxic Sometimes we use anger we blame others Sometimes we have behaviors That we're trying to cope with something that we never dealt with there was no closure on it And so we we develop Coping

19:14 mechanisms just to deal and some of us in our coping mechanisms blame ourselves When there's no closure on a death no closure on the death of our sons. She had nowhere to turn but to say it's my fault And she realized, I can't take these girls because it's because they married Moabitish wives that God has struck them dead. That's what she believed. She even told them. If you look at the word of God, the word of God says, she said, turn back, my daughters. In verse eight and nine, she says, turn back. Then in verse 11, She says again, turn back, turn again.

20:06 She's telling them both to leave. And in verse 12, she says, turn again, go home. What are you going to get out of me? I have nothing to give you. I have no more wealth. I have no more reputation. I have no more sons. Go home. They didn't leave. And again, in verse 13, She's got to tell them like it is she she lets the real truth out She says it grieves me much That for your sake chapter 13 verse 2 or the last line chap Excuse me chapter 1 verse 13 last line. It grieves me much That the hand of the Lord has come out against me for your sakes You're the ones that made the hand of the Lord come against me. Boy, that's an insult, isn't it? She's saying, you're the cause of my sorrow. You're the cause of this grief. You're the reason my sons are dead. Because I made the huge mistake. I didn't stop my husband.

21:21 But could she have really stopped her husband? Could she have really stopped the judge? who made a choice that seemed right unto him, but the end thereof was death. Could she have really turned him around? Could she have really stopped her sons from marrying Moabitish wives? No, she couldn't have. And weren't they adults? Didn't they have a conscience? Weren't they raised to know right and wrong? Why is Naomi blaming herself for their deaths? She's blaming because she's using guilt as a coping mechanism. Some of us don't know what life is like unless we feel bad.

22:20 Some of us don't know how to deal with life. to let God just give us a beautiful life. We don't know how to do it because we think we deserve something. We are blaming ourselves for something. Are you hearing me, beloved saints? Are you hearing me? And so we see these three powerful decisions, these three powerful pillars, deliberation, a decision that can change the destiny, visitation, move toward the visitation of God. And thirdly, determination. She's willing to go it alone. You have to be willing to get out of spiritual agoraphobia. With all your might, you have to push yourself. You have to make the decision, I'm not gonna stay stuck here. I'm going on to what God has for me. Beloved, today I wanna ask you, are you ready for the move of God in your life? Are you ready to make the decisions that Ruth... and Naomi made. Ruth made a decision of selfless altruistic, selfless kindness, selfless hesed. Hesed is the action to give love and never expect anything in return. Heavenly Father, today I pray for those who are going to be recipients of your grace to put the curse in reverse. I break the power of the maze of Moab off the lives

23:53 of your people. I release the anointing of destiny being released through love increased. In the mighty name of Jesus, may those that are viewing this telecast today make a decision to walk in love, to walk in selfless love. O God, that destiny will be released through love increased. Heavenly Father, as we raise our hands toward you, you are the God who is the restorer of our life and the nourisher of our old age, just as you restored Naomi's life, just as you gave Ruth double for her shame. and rewarded her for those actions of kindness. I pray for everyone on this line to receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the outpouring of the grace to show love, even when love is not being shown to us. The grace to administer kindness, even when we have not had kindness shown to us. The grace to stretch the extra mile, to be a Naomi. to be an Elisha, to go the extra mile, to pour ourselves out for others in Jesus' name. And if you have never made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, and today you are facing decisions, you are faced with grief, you are faced with turmoil, you are faced with the temptation of giving up. Don't give up. Know the God that you serve is waiting

25:24 to wrap his arms around you. And if you've never met Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life, you can do that now. Please say this prayer with me wherever you are around the world. Jesus loves you and he can give you the same blessing he gave Naomi. You can pick up the pieces. You can come back after a crisis. through His love, through His strength, through His friendship, He will guide you through. Say this prayer with me, Dear Jesus, come into my heart, be the Lord of my life, wash me clean from sin. Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. I ask you to deliver me from sin, from bondage. I want to break out of the maze of Moab. I want to come into my destiny, just as Naomi was willing to walk forward toward her destiny. No matter what she had to face, give me the grace to do so.
