An amazing video by Australian pastor Steve Cioccolanti explains these blood moons thoroughly. In less than a month, that video had garnered over 1 million views. In this episode with Stephen Strang, Cioccolanti discusses the prophetic connection between Trump and these blood moons.

Introduction

Stephen Strang: Did you know that Donald Trump was born in 1946 on a blood moon? Do you know that January 20, 2019 was a blood moon, the midpoint of his first term in office? There are many other things having to do with blood moons that are explained in amazing video on YouTube by an Australian pastor named Steve Cioccolanti. It's had over a million views in less than a month. I saw it. I was fascinated by it. There are a lot of other things that he talks about, and so I emailed him and asked him if he would be on my podcast. We finally found a few minutes. The time change makes it difficult to find a time that’s kind of in business hours on both ends. It was on two different days, but we talked. I think you'll be fascinated with what he has to say. So, if you like it, share it, and let's get this podcast to go viral too. Now, here's my interview with Pastor Steve Cioccolanti.

Pastor Cioccolanti, I'm just fascinated with the fact that you recorded a video on the blood moons. In fact, the blood moon, I think you called it the Trump Blood Moon, Tell me about it. How did you get so interested in our president?

·         1 Corinthians 15: In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trump t will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (MEV)

Pastor Steve Cioccolanti: Well, what's going on in America is just a phenomenon and it affects the whole world. We can't escape the Trump phenomenon. But I kind of stumbled upon speaking about Trump just by teaching on prophecy and teaching on dream interpretation. I was doing a two-part teaching on dream interpretation, and I showed people how God would use in the Hebrew a play on words, like He said to Jeremiah, what do you see? Jeremiah said, I see an almond tree. He said that's right. But in English that that makes no sense. In the Hebrew, He's playing on word with shakeid and shakad. Shakeid is the almond tree; shakad is to watch and be watchful. So, He’s doing that in Hebrew. I said, wouldn’t it be poetic, wouldn’t it be prophetic if God did that with Trump. First Corinthians 15 says that at the last trump, the dead in Christ will rise, it's a sign of the end time. I'd certainly never meant that he's a physical trumpet, or that he would be the fulfillment of that sign. But I say that God drops hints like that. As I continue to study that and people got really interested in that, I just felt very convinced long before he was nominated to be the Republican candidate, that this was God's choice. I was really going against my peers and the tide among Christians, which was pretty much for Ted Cruz; the son of a preacher, the son of a pastor. But I just really felt convicted in my heart that Trump was chosen by the Lord. So, I started speaking more and more about it, and I even made a prediction before he was nominated as the Republican nominee, that he would win. So, I really kind of put my neck out there, but it just happened by teaching the Bible.

Stephen Strang: That's interesting because there were prophets over here saying much the same thing. In fact, one of them said that he believed that God was going to play the trump card, which is a play on words in a different way. There were people that were saying that there was no chance he could win. Personally, I was a Ted Cruz man until he dropped out. Then of course it came down to just him and Hillary Clinton. We're not here to discuss my view on the election, but I documented this in God and Donald Trump. I wish I'd known about your prophecy; that would have been very interesting to have brought in an Australia pastor. But some of the prophets over here also said that they believed that God was raising him up in a way similar to how he raised up Cyrus, who was a pagan Persian king who let the children of Israel go back to Jerusalem. You've also talked about Cyrus.

Pastor Steve Cioccolanti: Yes, definitely. We need to talk about Cyrus because a lot of the contention from the Christians is that God can't use a non-Christian. We see this problem being discussed in Australian politics right now when Christians want to enforce our values. I just think it's not biblical at all, if you look through the pattern in the Bible. Many times, it was the righteous or the saints that were under heathen authority. One great example is Cyrus and the parallel with Trump is just perfect numerically you know that I wrote a book called The Divine Code, which discusses the meaning of numbers. Trump is the 45th president and where does God predict Cyrus is going to come? Isaiah 45; he predicted it by name. He says, ‘Thus says the Lord to his anointed to Cyrus. It's just amazing, the numerical parallel there. God had to do that because obviously the Jews did not look very highly on the Gentiles, especially a Gentile empire that was oppressing them. God says no. Even though this goes against your theology, it doesn't go against mine. I'm going to use a heathen, a Gentile, to bring blessing to the Jews; an amazing parallel. We see that even in the latest State of the Union address by Trump. He kept talking about his defense of Israel; this is why Iran is a great threat to Israel. He talked about how he was proud to move the embassy to Jerusalem, which is the true capital of Israel. What a friend to Israel he has been. People were not sure that he was going to follow through with that and he sure did.

·         Born in Thailand to a family of Buddhists, Catholics, Methodists and Muslims, Steve Cioccolanti is a Christian author, prolific teacher of God’s Words and the pastor of Discover Church in Melbourne, Australia.

Stephen Strang: That's one thing he does do is he keeps his promises, which I'm sure politicians are similar around the world. But it seems like they say one thing when they run and they govern very, very differently. This is one of the things that that I've documented as well. but let's talk about imperfect leaders. Hasn't God always used imperfect leaders? I mean, you can go through the Bible from David to even the Apostle Paul. They were very, very flawed people who guide us. Even in the more modern history I think of Winston Churchill as a person that was very, very unpopular with the devout Christians of the day because he smoked cigars and drink brandy. Yet he always felt a sense of destiny that God had somehow purposed him to save Western civilization. Do you agree?

Pastor Steve Cioccolanti: Yeah, absolutely. It's not only in the Old Testament, it's in the New Testament and it's in history I think that the church really needs to get ready to rule and reign like kings and priests which the Bible predicted. But we are not ready. If we were ready, God would raise up many more Christians to be great Christian leaders; Christian pastors over the nations.  But obviously, we're not ready. In Luke chapter 16, Jesus gave this whole parable about the unjust steward. At the punch line, he said the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly … For the sons of this world are more shrewdly in their generation than the sons of light. This is the scripture that really places Trump in the center of God's plan. There is precedent and there is scripture to say that God can use anybody. God can redeem anybody, and people are flawed and they have faults. We see that and we hear that all the time about Trump. This is why I have to try to bring the counterbalance. People think he's the Savior, he's perfect. I certainly don't. Jesus is the Savior. Trump is not perfect, but the media is so skewed. It is so biased that some Christians are being misled. So, we have to bring a counter balancing viewpoint. God is using him and God is using him to defend the unborn. Yes, we should call them human babies. God is using him to help the church in terms of freedom of religion, freedom of speech. He's trying to attack, dismantle and expose the Deep State. This is the corruption that we've been praying against. God is using Trump, and I cannot think of any Christian out there right now that can do the job, that has the training and experience that Trump has had to do this.

Stephen Strang: Let's talk about the blood moons. There's a great deal of interest, at least among Christians, about blood moons. There have been several blood moons, including one early in 2019 that you called the Trump Blood Moon. Could you elaborate on that and talk about some of the significance of it?

Pastor Steve Cioccolanti: Trump is a unique character in many ways. When God wants to confirm something, he used signs. This happened with the Lord. The most prominent example was the star of Bethlehem, which we all as Christians believe in. It doesn't mean that we follow astrology, it's an astronomical sign that confirms prophecy. Donald Trump was born on Friday the 14th of June 1946, and on that night there happened to be a blood moon, which is a term for a total lunar eclipse. Those things alone don't catch our attention, but if they fall, especially on Hebrew feast days, you know the biblical holidays, that really should make you pay attention. So, we had 10 symmetric Blood Moons beginning in 2010 all the way to 2019. The ones that people know most about are the four called the Tetrad, Greek for four is tetrad. That happened from 2014 to 2015. That was clearly when Trump was getting ready to run for president. Then we've got another blood moon, the 10th and final in the series that occurred at the midpoint of his first term as president. That happened on the night of the 20th to the 21st of January 2019. They’re symmetric, they fall on feast days and they keep pointing to Trump. There are lots of other patterns in Trump's life that are just amazing. I think people have heard that 700 days after Trump was born, Israel was reborn. He was born 1946. Israel's reborn on the 14th of May, 1948. So, you got the 700 days, then he's inaugurated and his age is 70 years, seven months, seven days old exactly on the 20th of January, which is his inauguration. All that happened in the Hebrew year 5777; you’ve got sevens everywhere. It goes even deeper than that. These are things that no man can control. How many electoral votes that Trump get? I was reading in the New York Times election results … it seems like there's some dispute about this, but I saw from the New York Times that Trump beat Hillary by 77 electoral votes because seven faithless electors defected. Then it goes on even more, counting seven months from his first full day in office, there was a total solar eclipse over the U.S. continent. That hasn't happened since 1776. So, these astronomical signs are just beyond coincidence. The convergence of all these signs really tell us we're in a very special time of prophetic fulfillment. We have a very special man in the White House that we should pray for, and that's why we see such darkness coming around him and trying to attack him in every way possible. I think any of us, if we ever have a down day, we should just think of Donald Trump and say that man has got a great load on his shoulder, and he's still fulfilling God's will. We really should be thankful to God, we should pray for him because God's plan is unfolding right now before our eyes.
