How To Get Free From LUST Once and For All
Do you keep falling into sexual sin and feel stuck in a cycle of guilt, shame, and regret? In this episode, Pastor Mike Signorelli pulls back the curtain on the battle with lust—and equips you with the truth to finally break free. Drawing from scripture, personal testimony, and pastoral experience, Pastor Mike walks you through the three essential steps to overcome sexual sin:
- Break the Trance – Lust rewires your mind into a cycle of repeated thoughts. It’s time to interrupt the pattern.
- Worship Continuously – You were made to meditate—but what you rehearse determines your results.
- Clean House – Real freedom demands radical action. Some things need to go… even if it feels like losing part of your identity.
This isn’t about religious repression—it’s about true, lasting freedom through renewing your mind , embracing God's design for sexual fulfillment, and reclaiming your destiny from the grip of compromise. You’ll also experience a powerful deliverance prayer that breaks strongholds of lust, shame, and perversion in Jesus’ name.

Speaker ABut I cannot stop the scroll.
Speaker AMaybe it's TikTok and the algorithm figured out you have a problem and it's serving up the exact videos you want to see.
Speaker AMaybe it's just.
Speaker AMaybe it's a sexual sin of loneliness.
Speaker AAnd it will.
Speaker AAnd it turned into sexual sin because you keep going back to a relationship.
Speaker AFriends with benefits.
Speaker AI'm bringing it like 100% unfiltered.
Speaker ALike right now, you need to hear the word of God.
Speaker AFor those of you guys who know and subscribe to my channel, not only do I pastor a multi site church, but I'm somebody who has openly shared my testimonies of being set free from sexual sin.
Speaker AAnd this is not going to be like any other talk you've ever heard, okay?
Speaker AAnd so I'm gonna give you three things that are gonna help you finally break free from sexual sin.
Speaker ABut I'm going to say the most important lesson all the way to the end.
Speaker AThis is gonna be a quick teaching.
Speaker ASo make sure that you stay with me the entire time.
Speaker AAnd then I'm gonna pray a powerful prayer.
Speaker AAnd this prayer at the very end of this is going to break chains off of you because I believe I'm anointed and I have authority in this area to speak into it.
Speaker AFreedom.
Speaker AOkay?
Speaker AThis is going to be unlike anything else you've ever heard.
Speaker ANumber one is this.
Speaker ABreak the trance.
Speaker ABreak the trance.
Speaker ALust causes you to come up under a trance.
Speaker AIt is a way of thinking that begins to be rehearsed over and over.
Speaker AAnd the repetition of lustful thoughts produces a trance.
Speaker AAm I right?
Speaker AHave you been under the trance of lust?
Speaker AYou have to break the trance.
Speaker AColossians, chapter three, verse five says, put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature.
Speaker ASo let's talk about your earthly nature.
Speaker AYou are a physical body.
Speaker AThe desire to have sex is not wrong.
Speaker ANow listen, as you continue on in this teaching, understand it may not be appropriate for all audiences that this is.
Speaker AViewer discretion advised.
Speaker ABut let's talk about this.
Speaker AThe desire to have sex is not wrong.
Speaker AAs a matter of fact, it's not just a desire.
Speaker ABut to procreate is actually a command by God.
Speaker AGod created sexuality.
Speaker AHe gave it as a gift and commanded that we would be fruitful and multiply.
Speaker ASo the desire, in and of itself is not wrong.
Speaker AYou may have been led to believe that it was wrong, but in and of itself, it's not wrong.
Speaker AWhen it turns into lust is the repeated thoughts without the way to properly fulfill that desire turns into a trance.
Speaker ASo, number one, break the trance.
Speaker ABreak the trance.
Speaker ALet me just tell you a story, okay?
Speaker AThere was a fox that was wounded.
Speaker AThis wounded fox came to a home, limping, bleeding.
Speaker AThe owner actually had so much compassion for this fox that the owner of the house that it came to begin to feed this fox, feed it, feed it, begin to bandage his wounds.
Speaker ASooner or later, the fox got to the point where it was so strong and rehabilitated that it ended up viciously attacking the owner and the owner's child of that home.
Speaker AAnd when I remember reading that story and thinking how much sexual desire is like a wounded fox, it shows up as loneliness.
Speaker AIt shows up as, my life is so hard, I just need a moment of pleasure.
Speaker AAnd we begin to feed it.
Speaker AWhat we don't realize is that we're strengthening a killer.
Speaker AThat fox does not belong in your house, okay?
Speaker AAnd so, in the same way as you are feeding that desire, it shows up as brokenness.
Speaker AIt shows up as something in our life that we're just like, hey, you know, I just.
Speaker AI just.
Speaker AI'm sick and tired of being alone.
Speaker AOr my life is so hard, I'm gonna give myself this momentary pleasure.
Speaker ABut then all of a sudden, we begin to strengthen it to the point where it eventually destroys us and maybe our children, too.
Speaker ABreak the trance of lust.
Speaker ABecause that fox was allowed to live, it ended up becoming the death of two people in the home.
Speaker ASometimes the thing that you let live is the thing that kills you.
Speaker AI'm just gonna say it again.
Speaker AYou can quote me on Twitter.
Speaker ASometimes the thing that you let live is the thing that eventually kills you.
Speaker ASo you let lust live.
Speaker AAnd live is a thing that kills your destiny, kills your peace of mind, kills your next level.
Speaker AAnd so Colossians says, go ahead and put it to death.
Speaker ASexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires, greed, which is idolatry.
Speaker AWhat does that mean?
Speaker AStop feeding it.
Speaker ABreak the trance.
Speaker ANumber two, when you're dealing with lust and you want to get free from sexual impurity, if you keep relapsing over and over again.
Speaker ANow watch.
Speaker AWhy do you come up under a trance?
Speaker AI'm gonna go deep.
Speaker AI'm gonna go deep.
Speaker AYou follow me?
Speaker ABecause I go there.
Speaker AIt's so easy for you to come up under a trance, because actually, human beings are wired to be in that state of continual thinking and meditation and repetition.
Speaker AHuman beings, our brain is built for repetition.
Speaker AAnd so the Bible says, pray without saying ceasing.
Speaker AAnd so you are made to worship God continually.
Speaker AYou are made to repeat his word in your heart and in your mind.
Speaker AAnd so number two is worship continuously.
Speaker ASo, number one, break the trance.
Speaker ANumber two, come on, is this good?
Speaker AIs this helping somebody?
Speaker ANumber two is worship continuously.
Speaker ASecond Corinthians, chapter 10, verse 5.
Speaker AThis is what it says.
Speaker ATake your thoughts captive.
Speaker ASecond Corinthians, chapter 10, Verse 5.
Speaker AKeep them captive.
Speaker AAnd then think on these things.
Speaker AEverything that's noble, everything that's lovely, everything that's pure.
Speaker AIn other words, it's almost as if God understands the way that he made your brain, the way he made your brain is to be repetitive.
Speaker AAnd so repeat these things.
Speaker ADavid.
Speaker AOkay, I'm gonna go even deeper.
Speaker AI'm gonna go even deeper.
Speaker ADavid was a worshiper.
Speaker ADavid understood how to repeat and rehearse victories.
Speaker ASo when he stood in front of Goliath, he said, hey, Goliath.
Speaker AHe said, hey, Goliath.
Speaker AI defeated the lion, I defeated the bear, and surely I'll defeat you.
Speaker AWhat was he doing?
Speaker AHe was repeating.
Speaker AThis is good.
Speaker AHe was repeating.
Speaker AHe was saying, I'm rehearsing my victories.
Speaker AIsn't it just like lust?
Speaker ACome on, let's bring it in.
Speaker AIsn't it just like lust and perversion to make you repeat shame, repeat guilt, and repeat condemnation?
Speaker ACome on.
Speaker AIsn't it just like lust to make you repeat shame over and over and over again?
Speaker AAnd then when you go to worship God and truly enter in worship, it's lust telling you, what are you doing?
Speaker ADon't you remember what you did?
Speaker AAnd repeats your failures.
Speaker ASo you've got to learn how to take those thoughts captive and then worship continuously.
Speaker AIs this good?
Speaker AIs this helping anybody?
Speaker AIf you lack discipline, do you want me to tell you a secret?
Speaker AYou don't lack discipline and you don't lack consistency.
Speaker AYou're already disciplined.
Speaker AYou're disciplined into lust.
Speaker AThere's not a day that goes by that you don't lust and operate in perversion.
Speaker ASo you don't lack.
Speaker AYou already have proven you can be consistent.
Speaker AYou are disciplined.
Speaker AI mean, what's the definition of discipline?
Speaker ABut listen, you give over.
Speaker AYou'll make room in your schedule for lust.
Speaker AYou'll make room in your schedule for perversion.
Speaker AIt's like you have discipline in the area of lust.
Speaker ASo people say, oh, I just need discipline.
Speaker ANo, you need to reallocate your discipline.
Speaker AYou need to give it to God.
Speaker AYou need to be disciplined in the things of God.
Speaker AYou're already disciplined in unrighteousness.
Speaker AYou need to so you.
Speaker ASo for those of you who are like, I just can't be consistent, you are.
Speaker AYou are consistent.
Speaker AYou consistently sin, you consistently relapse.
Speaker ASo good news is, you're consistent.
Speaker AThe good news is you are disciplined.
Speaker ABut first, Peter, chapter 5, verse 5, says, God resists the proud and he gives grace to the humble.
Speaker ASo when you come to him and when you act like.
Speaker ABecause there's also sometimes a form of false humility.
Speaker ABut I'm talking about real humility, says God, I'm not praying.
Speaker AOh, my Lord, I feel such a revelation on this.
Speaker AFalse humility, says God, I just keep going back to lust God, it's.
Speaker AI just can't defeat this thing.
Speaker AReal humility, says God, I'm not praying.
Speaker ALike, I should pray.
Speaker AI haven't made time for your word, God.
Speaker AIt's you that I actually left out.
Speaker ASee, false humility is like, God, I'm so full of shame and guilt.
Speaker ABut real humility says, God, I've forgotten about you.
Speaker AHow do you feel when I grieve you?
Speaker AI'm hosting you, hosting the Holy Spirit.
Speaker AAnd so, number one, break the trance.
Speaker ANumber two, worship continuously.
Speaker AAnd then number three, and if you want to write this down, go ahead and write this down.
Speaker AClean house.
Speaker AClean house.
Speaker AGet serious about applying the admonition given by Apostle Paul in Romans, chapter 12.
Speaker AGet real serious about it.
Speaker AGet real serious.
Speaker AApostle Paul, I'm about to listen to what you said in Romans, chapter 12.
Speaker ADo not be conformed to.
Speaker ATo the world.
Speaker AThe world.
Speaker AThey lust all the time.
Speaker AAm I telling you the truth?
Speaker AListen.
Speaker AThey lust all the time.
Speaker AAnd it's okay.
Speaker AIt's okay.
Speaker AThe world is polyamorous.
Speaker AThe world has multiple different outlets for their sexuality.
Speaker AThe world.
Speaker AThe world says, oh, you can just do, you know, whatever feels good, do it.
Speaker AThat's how the world talks.
Speaker ABut Romans, chapter 12, verse, verse 2, I think, do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed.
Speaker AAnd so that means that sometimes we've got a clean house.
Speaker ALet me just tell you, you would rather lose your hand, cut it off, because you continue to sin, than to lose your entire body to the flames.
Speaker AThat's what Jesus said.
Speaker ABut I wanna give you a deeper reading of that scripture, because what he was actually saying is, you know how you've put so much of your Identity into.
Speaker AInto having two hands.
Speaker AYou would rather be the one that loses a part of you.
Speaker ASo much so that it feels like your identity has shifted.
Speaker ANow you're.
Speaker ANow you're an amputee.
Speaker ALike, now you gotta reorientate how you do everything in your life.
Speaker ANow.
Speaker AYou used to write with one hand.
Speaker AYou have to write another.
Speaker AEverything has to change around the loss of that hand.
Speaker AAnd you'd rather have to figure out how to live your life without lust than lose your whole life because of lust.
Speaker AOh, I know this is helping somebody right now, because when I talk about cleaning house, I'm talking about remove the things that make it feel like you removed a part of your identity.
Speaker AThat's how you know you're getting free.
Speaker ABut I always watch this.
Speaker AI always listen to this.
Speaker AI always do this on my phone.
Speaker ARemove the things that feel like you would be removing part of your identity because you're only removing the part that's cancerous.
Speaker AOh, I'm telling you now, these three steps.
Speaker AI'm gonna give you bad news now, before I give you the good news, these three steps do not in and of themselves, produce lasting victory over lustful thoughts.
Speaker AAnd let me redeem it for you.
Speaker AI know some of you are like, I'm screaming right now in the chat because he's preaching, but these three things I gave you, that's not all.
Speaker ABecause I wanna give you the good news so that the bad news is this is not going to solve it.
Speaker AIt's going to help.
Speaker ABut the good news is, you now, this is.
Speaker AI want you to hear me now.
Speaker AAll the bloggers and the haters probably did not get this far into the teaching, because they never do.
Speaker AI am not preaching so that you would become sexually repressed.
Speaker AThe Bible is not an instruction manual for sexual repression.
Speaker AIt's so that you will be sexually satisfied and sexually fulfilled.
Speaker AAnd so my desire is not that you would be repressed, but that you would be fulfilled.
Speaker ABut I will tell you this.
Speaker ALust can never be fulfilled.
Speaker ALust is insatiable.
Speaker ALust can never be fulfilled.
Speaker AWhich means if your problem is lust, then you have to do the things I talked about.
Speaker ABut lust is never fulfilled.
Speaker AAnd what I'm trying to help you get is true intimacy, which is only through the covenant of marriage.
Speaker AAnd then when you righteously fulfill your sexual desires within that covenant, within that way, you can be fulfilled.
Speaker AYou can actually be sexually satisfied.
Speaker ABut lust can never be fulfilled.
Speaker AAnd so here's the thing.
Speaker APeople think they're going to solve lust with marriage.
Speaker AWrong.
Speaker AYou cannot solve lust with marriage, because lust is insatiable, which means you'll get married to the right person, but you will be wired the wrong way, and you will never be satisfied.
Speaker AAnd then you'll end up cheating.
Speaker AAnd if you don't cheat with another person, you'll cheat with another person through a screen, you'll cheat with a video.
Speaker AYou'll cheat with yourself, but you will not be sexually satisfied because lust is never satisfied.
Speaker ALust is not solved by marriage.
Speaker AThat's so good for somebody to hear.
Speaker ARight now there's this great reversal.
Speaker AI want to end this on.
Speaker AAnd then I want to pray for you.
Speaker AOkay?
Speaker ABe not conformed to the world.
Speaker ASo we establish that.
Speaker ABut then it goes on to say in Romans, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Speaker AThat.
Speaker AWhy?
Speaker AWhy should you renew your mind?
Speaker ASo that you can prove what is good and acceptable and the perfect will of God.
Speaker ASo here's the thing.
Speaker AUntil you renew your mind, you can't even prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Speaker ANow, every day when you wake up, you actually have thousands of new brain cells.
Speaker AAnd scientists call it neurogenesis.
Speaker AAnd doesn't it say in the Bible that he makes his mercies new and every day?
Speaker AWhew, that's a revelation now, because that means if you wake up every single morning, no matter where you live, around the world, watching right now, that you have thousands of new brain cells that were created while you slept.
Speaker ANeurogenesis.
Speaker AAnd the Bible says he makes God makes his mercies new every day.
Speaker AThat means every single day you wake up, you have another opportunity to transform your brain.
Speaker AYou have another opportunity to renew your mind.
Speaker AAnd this ain't gonna be fixed by deliverance.
Speaker AListen, you get delivered by a demon, but the habitat that that demon created remains.
Speaker AAnd then they come back, wanting to take more territory, and they bring their friends.
Speaker AAnd so, listen, I wish I could just do a deliverance, and you're done.
Speaker ABut if you don't learn the convergence of discipline with deliverance, renewing your mind every single day, you will not reverse it and stay free.
Speaker AAnd if you haven't already, please, please, please take heart, because your freedom is here.
Speaker AI want to pray for you right now.
Speaker AYour freedom is here.
Speaker ALike, you don't have to live in guilt, shame, condemnation.
Speaker ATherefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Speaker AYou don't have to live under that bond, that mental and emotional bondage.
Speaker AYou don't have to live bound by demons.
Speaker AThat's a whole nother teaching.
Speaker ASo here's what I want you to do.
Speaker ABecause some of you are cleaning house.
Speaker ASome of you are going to come up and have to delete apps off of your phone.
Speaker ASome of you are going to have to block numbers of friends with benefits.
Speaker ASome of you, you know what you have to do.
Speaker ADo it cause you love the Lord more.
Speaker ABecause you've got greatness inside of you and you're destined to do great things for the Lord.
Speaker AAnd you're not going to sacrifice your destiny or lower yourself to the level of lust.
Speaker ACome on, I know this is good.
Speaker ASo let me just help you.
Speaker AI want to pray for you right now.
Speaker AAnd let's not pray a little patty cake prayer.
Speaker ALet's pray a real prayer right now.
Speaker AI'm asking you, Father, I pray.
Speaker ARight now we take captive every single vile, demonic, lustful, perverse thought.
Speaker ANow in the name of Jesus, even everything we have viewed through lust and pornography and things that we've experienced through trauma, molestation, rape, Father, promiscuity, perversion, God of all kinds, Lord, right now we take it captive.
Speaker ANow in the name of Jesus, we pull down every single stronghold that has erected itself up against your word.
Speaker AAnd Father, I thank you that freedom, freedom is coming now.
Speaker AAnd Father, I thank you that you are giving us righteous fulfillment of our sexual desires through our spouse, God, that you're bringing us into the covenant of marriage to fulfill our sexual desires.
Speaker AAnd we are not going to be repressed, but we are going to be completely and totally free.
Speaker ASome of you, right now as we're praying, I feel this so strongly.
Speaker AYou need to just begin to go through a place of repentance.
Speaker ARepent just means turn.
Speaker AIt just means like you're saying, God, I'm turning from my wicked ways.
Speaker AI'm not going to in any way, shape or form continue.
Speaker ASo just repent.
Speaker ARepent is just simply saying, God, I'm not doing this again.
Speaker AI'm not going back.
Speaker AFather, I thank you that you are faithful and just to forgive those who repent.
Speaker AAnd so, Father, we repent.
Speaker AWe repent.
Speaker AWe're not blaming it on demons.
Speaker AWe're not.
Speaker ALord, it's us.
Speaker AAnd more so than sinful acts, we are repenting right now because we turn from you.
Speaker AAnd we are supposed to worship you and pray without ceasing.
Speaker AAnd so, God, we turn our hearts back to you right now and we say, God, we belong to you now.
Speaker ALastly, I want to pray to break every demonic power because listen, we're not blaming this on the devil, but we're also not letting the devil hide.
Speaker AAnd so, every spirit of lust and perversion, I command you to go.
Speaker AIn the name of Jesus.
Speaker AOut of every single person.
Speaker AUnder the sound of my voice, in Jesus name, every spirit of lust and perversion, we break your power and command you to loose them and let them go now.
Speaker ACome out of their mind.
Speaker ACome out of their appetite.
Speaker AOut.
Speaker AIn the name of Jesus, go.
Speaker ALust of the eyes.
Speaker AOut in Jesus name.
Speaker ALust of the hands.
Speaker AOut in Jesus name.
Speaker AGo.
Speaker ANow.
Speaker ALoose them now.
Speaker AIn Jesus name.
Speaker AOut.
Speaker AOut.
Speaker ANow every single curse of lust and perversion be broken in the name of Jesus.
