You know, there's really only about three types of people that you're gonna encounter in life.
Speaker AAnd each and every one of you will have to make a decision which one of these three people you will be.
Speaker AAnd the first person that kind of sits in this seat, this person, if you're taking notes, this is the natural person.
Speaker AThis is the self directed life.
Speaker AMatter of fact, if you're in church right now and you're watching this, you probably aren't one of these people.
Speaker ABut you work with these people, you go to school with these.
Speaker AThese people are your family members that you see a couple times a year, you know, when you have holidays together.
Speaker ASo these people, they have not received Jesus Christ.
Speaker AThey.
Speaker AThey have not received him.
Speaker AAs a matter of fact, self is on the throne, and self directs all their decisions and actions.
Speaker AAnd often it results in frustration.
Speaker AI'm gonna read a verse.
Speaker AFirst Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 14.
Speaker AAnd it says, the natural person does not accept the things of the spirit of God for their folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
Speaker ANow, if you look at First Corinthians, chapter 2, verse 14, this word folly, everybody say folly, okay?
Speaker AIt means foolishness.
Speaker ABut I want to go deeper.
Speaker ACan I go deep today?
Speaker AIs that all right?
Speaker AOkay.
Speaker AFoolishness in the original language means being ridiculously or wildly unreasonable.
Speaker ASo what this means is, you know, these people, they're living their life and they're just trying to get by.
Speaker AYou know, I know that you don't have anybody smoking marijuana here in Michigan, but in New York, we have that problem.
Speaker AAnd these people are good people, but they use it to get by.
Speaker AAnd it's THC and caffeine and nicotine.
Speaker AAnd when they're driving to work, they turn the music up real loud and they're just trying to survive.
Speaker AI want to rock and roll all night.
Speaker AOh, you guys probably know that song.
Speaker AAnd party every day.
Speaker AI.
Speaker AOkay, only a few old school rock and rollers here.
Speaker AProbably you all are Beyonce fans.
Speaker AAnd so, you know, they turn up the music and they're just trying to survive.
Speaker AYou know, it's as many physical experiences that you can create at the same time.
Speaker ASo taste, touch, smell.
Speaker AIt's everything through their physical being.
Speaker AAnd it's like, how high can I get?
Speaker AHow drunk can I get?
Speaker AHow loud can the music get?
Speaker AAnd I just have to survive all of the pain and anxiety and depression and brokenness of this life, and I am in control.
Speaker ANo, the thing about 1 Corinthians chapter 2, verse 14.
Speaker AIt says, the natural person, they do not accept the things of the spirit of God, for they are false foolishness.
Speaker AThey're absolutely ridiculous.
Speaker AIt's unreasonable and wildly unreasonable.
Speaker ASo the fact that you woke up today to go to church on a day you didn't have to go to work and you decided to take a shower and put on nice clothes and come here is wildly unreasonable to them.
Speaker AAnd as a matter of fact, this Christmas, when you're with them, they might even tell you how crazy you are for giving your finances to the local church.
Speaker ANow, never mind the fact that they spend their money on weed, alcohol, thc.
Speaker ANever mind the fact that they give huge portions of their money to Panera Bread and to the local Applebee's.
Speaker ABut heaven forbid you support the local church.
Speaker AOh, come on.
Speaker AWe're gonna get sassy today.
Speaker AWe're gonna.
Speaker AFaithful are the wounds of a friend.
Speaker AI'd rather cut you with the truth than kiss you with a lie.
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker AIsn't it funny?
Speaker ADoesn't it reveal that they're in this seat, that they're mad at you for giving your money to the church, but they support Bud Light.
Speaker AOkay, I'm amongst friends, but this is a natural person.
Speaker ASo when you give your finances, that's a spiritual decision, and it says it's wildly unreasonable to them.
Speaker ASome of you are serving on teams today, and you say, not only am I gonna go to church, but I'm gonna stay extra long and serve.
Speaker AThey're like, you are crazy.
Speaker AYou're a psychopath.
Speaker ABut see, they'll go to work, and they'll work overtime to get more money to fund more addictions.
Speaker ABut the natural person can't understand.
Speaker ASo they turn up the Beyonce.
Speaker AOh, the single ladies.
Speaker AOh, I don't know.
Speaker AI just embarrass myself.
Speaker AI don't know Beyonce.
Speaker ABut, you know, they turn up the music, they vape, they drink more alcohol.
Speaker AThey're trying to do whatever they can to survive.
Speaker AAnd some of these people have great hearts.
Speaker AThey want to do the right thing, but they're lost.
Speaker AOkay?
Speaker AMany of you here are like, okay, Pastor Mike, that's not me.
Speaker AI'm not that person.
Speaker AWell, maybe you're the next person.
Speaker AOkay, now, don't get too excited yet.
Speaker AThis is the carnal person.
Speaker ANow, this is a carnal Christian, though.
Speaker AAnd this.
Speaker AOkay, now, am I your friend?
Speaker ADo you promise to still love me when this is over?
Speaker ACause some of you might be like, pastor Dwayne, please don't ever bring him back.
Speaker AThis is a carnal Christian.
Speaker AAnd the reality is, most of you are sitting in this seat.
Speaker ANow, I say that out of love.
Speaker AI know.
Speaker AMy name's Mike Signorelli.
Speaker AYou can call me Papa Siggs right now, because I'm gonna have to give you some uncomfortable truths.
Speaker ABut I'm doing it in love.
Speaker AAnd the carnal Christian, this is one who's received Christ, but they live in defeat because he's trying to live.
Speaker AHe or she's trying to live that Christian life in their own strength.
Speaker ASo Jesus is in their life, but not on the throne.
Speaker ASelf is on the throne and self is directing the decisions and actions.
Speaker AAnd it often results in frustration.
Speaker AOkay, I got a verse for you.
Speaker AFirst Corinthians, chapter three.
Speaker AFirst Corinthians, chapter three, verse one through three.
Speaker AAnd I, brethren, I could not speak to you as spiritual men, but as.
Speaker AOkay, can I read it the way that I think the apostle wrote it?
Speaker ACause you know, the older I get and I've got a 16 year old here, Bella.
Speaker AAnd you know, when you have teenagers and I pastor a multi site church and I'm raising up leaders and pastors, I started reading the Bible differently.
Speaker ASo I'm going to read a familiar passage with an unfamiliar revelation.
Speaker AAnd I brethren, I couldn't speak to you as spiritual men, but as to men of the flesh, as infants whittle babies in Christ, I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, for you were not able to receive it.
Speaker AIndeed, even now you're not yet able.
Speaker AI have a 16 year old.
Speaker AYou're not ready to drive a car.
Speaker AI can't even trust you with a cell phone.
Speaker AYou're just a widow teenager.
Speaker ABella, do you hear the language?
Speaker AI wanna give you a car, but I have to learn to trust you with other things first.
Speaker AYou need to clean your room first.
Speaker ASee the apostle, he's speaking to the church and he's saying, I want to entrust you more, but I can't.
Speaker ANow watch.
Speaker AThis is.
Speaker AWe're gonna go there.
Speaker AO. I feel like y' all are ready for this.
Speaker AIndeed, even now you're not able, for you are still fleshly.
Speaker ASay the word fleshly.
Speaker AWhy?
Speaker AFor since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly?
Speaker AAnd are you not walking like mere men?
Speaker AOh, this is so good.
Speaker AIn churches all across America, we have made the milk and the meat.
Speaker AHow intellectually profound and articulate and deep can.
Speaker AHow much Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic and authorial intent and historic background can you give us?
Speaker AThat's the meat of the word.
Speaker ANo, that's not the meat of the word.
Speaker AAnd people have even left churches and then said, I'm going to another church because this church doesn't teach the meat.
Speaker AYou know what's so ironic about people who say that they're taking that scripture out of context to say that you can't leave this church saying, well, we don't teach the meat of the word because according to the apostle, the meat of the word is not how articulately you communicate it and what kind of verbal linguistic gymnastics you can do with the language.
Speaker AAnd wow, people, the meat of the word is how obedient to the spirit you are.
Speaker AAnd so if you are surrendered and submitted to Jesus Christ through the person of the Holy Spirit, living a spirit filled life, now you are living the meat.
Speaker ADoes that make sense?
Speaker AAnd so milk, because this is what it says.
Speaker AFor since there's jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly and are you not walking like mere men?
Speaker AAnd so milk and meat, it's not deep preaching and shallow preaching.
Speaker AIt's spirit led living or carnal living.
Speaker AOh, come on.
Speaker AWe're going there today because the carnal Christians, they're no different than the unsaved people.
Speaker AWe have our music too.
Speaker AWe're just trying to get by.
Speaker AHow can I do it in my own strength that we turn up our music, shout to the Lord all the earth.
Speaker AOkay, that's old school.
Speaker AYou unravel me with.
Speaker AAnd so, oh, that's my jam.
Speaker AI'm no longer a slave.
Speaker AY' all know that one.
Speaker ASee, what happens is the carnal Christian who's sitting in this seat, they're turning their music up too.
Speaker AAnd they're saying, I need this music to get by.
Speaker AI'm no longer a slave to fear.
Speaker AAnd they're just turning their music up.
Speaker AAnd then the person over here who's not a Christian is like, I wanna rock and roll all night.
Speaker AAnd they're saying, oh, I understand why you're doing that.
Speaker AWe're doing the same thing.
Speaker AAnd you're telling them, oh, no, no, no, you can't sing that music.
Speaker AYou gotta sing our music.
Speaker AAnd they're saying, well, your music makes you feel better and my music makes me feel better, so what's the difference?
Speaker AOh, come on.
Speaker AOh, I'm going there today.
Speaker AAnd then this person says, oh, you know, your unsafe friend.
Speaker AThey say, well, you have your church, I have the Kiwanis, the Key Club, the local ymca.
Speaker AI have a community.
Speaker AThere's a lot of communities out there.
Speaker AOh, help me Lord, help me preach.
Speaker AThis I have aa.
Speaker AI have.
Speaker AYou have your group, and I have my group.
Speaker AWhat you're doing is no different than what I'm doing.
Speaker AAnd then you say, no, no, but the church, it's different.
Speaker AThe church, it's special.
Speaker AWe should all come together.
Speaker AWe should worship and sing these songs.
Speaker AAnd they're saying, yeah, we did that at the Taylor Swift concert.
Speaker AYou give your tithes and offering.
Speaker AWe buy tickets.
Speaker AIt's the same thing.
Speaker AOh, come on.
Speaker ADo y' all still love me?
Speaker AOkay, now watch.
Speaker AAnd I, brethren, could not speak to you as spiritual men, but as to men of flesh.
Speaker AAs infants in Christ, I gave you milk to drink.
Speaker ANot solid food, for you were not yet able to receive.
Speaker AIn so many churches across America, we have people that are still milk Christians.
Speaker ANot because our worship's not good.
Speaker AWe have the best production we've ever had in human history.
Speaker ANot because our sermons aren't amazing.
Speaker AWe have the best communicators in human history.
Speaker AIt's because we don't know the things of the spirit.
Speaker AWe've taken the spiritual things and we've dialed them in and made them as carnal as possible.
Speaker AAnd the people of the world are saying, I don't want that.
Speaker AIt's not attractive to me.
Speaker AOh, parents, can I just tell you that Gen Z is not becoming more atheistic.
Speaker AGen Z is spiritual, but not religious.
Speaker ADid you know they have a mobile app on their phone called TikTok?
Speaker AAnd one of the most viral categories of it is witch talk.
Speaker ADid you know that?
Speaker ABecause Gen Z is looking for the supernatural, they're looking for the spirit.
Speaker AIf you go into the grocery stores, if you go into the stores where they buy clothing, the impulse buy at the register is tarot cards so that they can learn how to read tarot cards.
Speaker ADid you know this?
Speaker AAnd so Gen Z is telling us, they're saying, we don't want dead dry religion, but we do want the supernatural.
Speaker AAnd how many of you know the devil shows up parading as an angel of light, and he says, oh, I'll give you the supernatural.
Speaker AAnd he gives them a counterfeit power.
Speaker AAnd then here's the thing.
Speaker AHow many of you know that even networks of demons work together and they trade and exchange information?
Speaker AAnd so even a psychic medium will be accurate not because they're hearing from God, but because they're hearing from a false spirit.
Speaker AAnd so now we have carnal.
Speaker AWe have carnal.
Speaker AWe have carnal, fleshly people.
Speaker AThey're dead in their spirit.
Speaker AThey haven't accepted Christ, and they're just experiencing as many physical things as possible.
Speaker AAnd then see, some of them are saying, but maybe the spiritual realm is real.
Speaker AHow do I access it?
Speaker AAnd they love shows about ghosts and ghost hunters, and they love shows about the spiritual and the supernatural.
Speaker AAnd they're getting into occult practices that.
Speaker AAnd Pastor Duane mentioned influencers.
Speaker ABut how many of you know that there's influencers even within the realm of occult practices now?
Speaker AAnd there's people that would have never heard about all of these other things.
Speaker ABut now because of the Internet, your kids are in their bedroom doing spiritual practices.
Speaker AAnd then you have this Christian that's saying, I wish you would just go to this, and I wish you would just listen to this music and I wish you would go with the program.
Speaker ABut the problem is, to those who are spiritually dead, it looks the same.
Speaker AAre you with me today?
Speaker ATo those who are spiritually dead, it looks exactly the same.
Speaker AAnd so what must we do?
Speaker AWhat's the next level?
Speaker AWe must learn how to operate in the spiritual realm.
Speaker ALet me tell you a story from when I was a teenager.
Speaker AI remember my mom, she's a single mom with five kids.
Speaker AAnd she raised us and we struggled.
Speaker AShe got married multiple times to what became abusive stepfathers.
Speaker AAnd so my childhood was spent between a trailer park in South Chicago and, you know, just subsidized housing in northwest Indiana.
Speaker AAnd I remember we were just trying to survive and we weren't these people, but I think in a lot of ways we were these people.
Speaker AAnd my mom said, well, we gotta go to church every week cause that's gonna help our family.
Speaker ABut then all of a sudden, we started learning the supernatural.
Speaker AAnd when we started learning the supernatural and how to live a spirit filled life, things begin to change.
Speaker AAnd I remember my mother, she got a diagnosis and I was a teenager and.
Speaker AAnd the diagnosis she got was that she had tumors and cysts and that she needed to go into a surgery and they were gonna remove the tumors and cysts and she was gonna be bedridden.
Speaker AAnd then that meant that our family was not gonna have any provider.
Speaker AAnd you all know what happens next in those situations.
Speaker AAnd so I remember saying, oh Lord, we're gonna lose our place where we stay.
Speaker AWe're gonna lose our house.
Speaker AEverything's gonna be really, really bad.
Speaker AWe need a miracle.
Speaker AHow many of you know that impossible situations will force you to move out from being a carnal Christian to a Christian led by the Holy Spirit?
Speaker AThere's an activation that happens, you know, in those types of situations.
Speaker AAnd I said, oh, God.
Speaker AThis is truly a test of what I believe and what I don't believe.
Speaker ASo something began to rise up inside of me as a teenager.
Speaker AAnd we were at Masonic Hospital in Chicago and they were prepping my mom for the surgery.
Speaker AAnd the surgeon came to meet with us and he said, hey, I just want to tell you it's going to be several hours.
Speaker AWhen it's over, we'll come and get you and we'll give you an update.
Speaker AI looked at that doctor and I said, when you open up my mother, you will not find any tumors or any cysts.
Speaker AOh, come on, you're clapping already.
Speaker ASo there must be some spirit filled believers in this place.
Speaker AHow many of you know that faith speaks and fear jumps?
Speaker AHow many of you know that the power of life and death is in your tongue?
Speaker AHow many of you know that spirit filled Christians know how to change an atmosphere by the words that they use?
Speaker AAnd I was just new to this, I didn't know what I was doing.
Speaker AAnd I just said.
Speaker AAnd he goes, what did you say?
Speaker AAnd I said, mm.
Speaker AI said, when you open her up, you're not gonna find any tumors or any cysts.
Speaker AWell, all of a sudden, hours went by and a person who worked for the hospital said, hey, the surgeon wants to speak with you in another room.
Speaker AWell, here in America, when they take you to another room, that's often an indicator that your loved one passed away and they wanna prepare you to tell you they died.
Speaker ASo I was immediately filled with fear.
Speaker AHave you ever had a moment where you say the right thing when it's time to say it, but then fear starts to creep in afterwards?
Speaker ASee, when you're sitting in this seat, there's gonna be a tug of war.
Speaker AThat's why the Bible says I do what I don't wanna do and what I don't wanna do.
Speaker ATug of war in this seat between the spirit and the flesh.
Speaker AAnd see, I was in that moment where I was like, oh, Lord, I feel so much fear right now, thinking that they're bringing me into this other room to console me because my mother has died.
Speaker AInstead, I come into the room and this doctor looks at me and he's like, tell me again what you said to me before the surgery.
Speaker AAnd I said, well, I told you that when you open up my mother, you're not going to find any tumors or any cysts.
Speaker AAnd he goes, okay, can we take a seat?
Speaker ACome on, somebody.
Speaker AAnd it was me and him, and he's sitting in the seat and he's like, Okay, I want to tell you what happened.
Speaker AI went to go make the standard incision where we always make an incision.
Speaker AAnd when I went to go make that incision, I heard my head nurse.
Speaker AThe head nurse said, no, don't cut her there.
Speaker AYou have to cut her in another spot, this other spot.
Speaker AAnd I did it.
Speaker AAnd when I did that, I realized that there was a main artery running another direction.
Speaker AAnd if I would have cut your mother in the standard way we do all these surgeries, she would have hemorrhaged and bled out and died on the table.
Speaker ASo then I went to my head nurse and I said, hey, thank you for that information.
Speaker AYou really saved me today.
Speaker AAnd the nurse looked up to me and said, I never said anything.
Speaker AThat's when they knew something was changed.
Speaker ASee, the atmosphere begins to change.
Speaker ASomething begins to happen.
Speaker AThere's worlds start colliding between the physical and the supernatural dimension.
Speaker AYou probably can feel the atmosphere changing right now.
Speaker ASome of you are going to be healed even before this sermon is over.
Speaker AGod's about to do something in your body.
Speaker AGod's about to touch you.
Speaker AI know that you came from all over today.
Speaker AExpect God.
Speaker AI feel the anointing.
Speaker ABut then he said, I gotta tell you, the next thing that happened, I open up your mother, and I.
Speaker AAnd he goes, you understand?
Speaker AI have all of the scans, I had all of the information, all the data.
Speaker ABut when I opened her up, there were no tumors and no cysts, and I had to close your mother up and send her away.
Speaker ACan somebody shout Hallelujah if God is good?
Speaker AAnd I said.
Speaker AI said, well, it was Jesus Christ that did that.
Speaker AAnd he said, well, I'm a Muslim.
Speaker AYou mean Jesus the prophet?
Speaker AI said, no, Jesus the Messiah, the savior of the world, not Jesus the prophet.
Speaker ACome on, somebody shout.
Speaker AAnd I said, today I'm going to get you a Bible.
Speaker AAnd I'm coming back with a Bible today for you.
Speaker AAnd I gave that Muslim doctorate mistake, Masonic Hospital in Chicago, a Bible and said, welcome to the winning side.
Speaker AThis is when I started to really learn and understand that man.
Speaker ALet me just tell you, young people, being one of these Christians is boring.
Speaker AIf you don't like being a Christian, you're doing it wrong.
Speaker AThe Christian life is an adventure.
Speaker AIt's a wonderful adventure where you wake up and Eugene Peterson, in the message translation, he gives a translation that you wake up and you say, what's next, dad?
Speaker AWhat's next, Papa?
Speaker AI mean, the life of a Christian is not the life of survival.
Speaker AIt's the life of thriving.
Speaker AAnd when we turn that music up, it's not to drown out anxiety.
Speaker AIt's to say, in Grand Rapids as it is in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, God, today, what's gonna happen on the Spirit break out.
Speaker AAnd carnal Christians, they simply don't understand this.
Speaker AThey don't understand this.
Speaker AAnd I just want to tell you, if you're sitting in this seat, if you found yourself growing cold, cynical, one of the biggest indicators that you're sitting in this seat is you become a critic.
Speaker AWe don't need more bloggers.
Speaker AWe need more prophets and evangelists and shepherds and people flooding the streets.
Speaker AWe don't need more blogs.
Speaker AWe need more prophecies and words in the street.
Speaker AAnd we need people to rise up.
Speaker ABut when you're sitting in this seat, you always have a complaint.
Speaker AYou know, I would rather be a chef than a food critic, I'd rather be an author than a literary critic, and I'd rather be a burning one than a lukewarm Christian.
Speaker AAnybody with me on that?
Speaker ABecause when you're.
Speaker AYou know, when I first moved to New York and I want to honor Pastor Duane, he really believed in me in a time where probably not many people believed in me.
Speaker AAnd I remember when I moved to New York City, I was.
Speaker AYou know, the pastors there, they told me the average Weekly attendance is 30 people.
Speaker AAnd they thought they were helping me.
Speaker AThey said, we just want to protect your expectations.
Speaker AI said, protect my expectations?
Speaker AWhat kind of language is that?
Speaker AI saw Moses stood in front of the Red Sea and it parted.
Speaker AI serve a God that does the miraculous.
Speaker AWhat do you mean?
Speaker AAnd they said, well, we've been out here.
Speaker AYou don't know New York.
Speaker ASee, carnal Christians will put Saul's armor on you before you fight Goliath.
Speaker AAnd it was David who said, I don't prove that armor.
Speaker AI know he delivered me from the paw of the lion and the bear, and surely this uncircumcised Philistine.
Speaker AAnd see, what they didn't realize is I was going to New York City, where there's a whole bunch of Muslims, But I've already seen God save a Muslim in northwest Indiana and Chicago before I moved to New York City.
Speaker AHow many of you know that?
Speaker AYou've got a radio reference your past, to know your future.
Speaker AGod gave you a victory back then.
Speaker AHe's going to give you a victory again.
Speaker AHe's going to do it again.
Speaker AHe was faithful.
Speaker AHe healed you back then.
Speaker AHe's going to heal you again.
Speaker AHe saved you.
Speaker ASurely he can save your family members.
Speaker ABut carnal Christians, they can't understand this because the warfare and the battle of the mind, that's why the apostle is saying, I really wanted to speak to you as spiritual men, but you're really men of flesh.
Speaker AYou're infants in Christ.
Speaker AAnd I really feel like this is a wake up call for many of you who are sitting in this seat.
Speaker AYou know so much, it's time to activate it.
Speaker AI moved to New York City and all of a sudden, you know, these pastors, they told me what could and couldn't happen.
Speaker AAnd we're having movie theater, church, and that was the only venue that I could get.
Speaker AAnd I was one sermon, I was talking about God as a father.
Speaker AAnd I said, if you want to receive God as your heavenly father, just raise your hand.
Speaker AAnd I look all the way up into the balcony and there's this beautiful big brown man waving me down like he's trying to land an airplane.
Speaker AAnd I was like, well, that's not necessarily the Christian way to do that.
Speaker AUsually we just raise one hand.
Speaker ABut that man really wants God.
Speaker AAfter the service was over, and I had led everybody to Christ through Romans, chapter 10, verse 9, Confess with your mouth.
Speaker ABelieve in your heart, you will be saved.
Speaker AAll of a sudden, I met him on our mezzanine and he said, hey, it's so nice to meet you, Pastor.
Speaker AMy name's Ayush.
Speaker AI said, ayush, where are you from?
Speaker AHe's like, well, my family's from India.
Speaker AAnd he said, we're multi generational Hindus.
Speaker AAnd I said, well, today really messed that up for you, didn't it?
Speaker AI said, what happened?
Speaker ABecause when I said, who wants to accept Christ?
Speaker AYou were waving me down.
Speaker AAnd he said, oh, he goes, recently my dad died.
Speaker AAnd in Hinduism, we watched the body burn for hours and hours.
Speaker AAnd it's a form of mourning that we go through.
Speaker AAnd he said, the whole time I was watching my dad's body burn, I kept thinking to myself, I'll never have a father again.
Speaker AI'll be fatherless for the rest of my life.
Speaker AAnd he said, when I came to church, I've been severely depressed and I've been grieving, I've been in a mourning season.
Speaker AAnd one of my friends said, you've gotta come to church, just try it.
Speaker AAnd I got into church and you were saying, you can have a father, you can have a heavenly father.
Speaker AIf you're orphaned, if you're broken, if you come from abuse and trauma like I did, you can have a father.
Speaker AAnd he said, you were speaking right into the pain.
Speaker AAnd that's when I knew, I need Jesus.
Speaker ASo that Hindu became a Christian through the adoption of Jesus Christ.
Speaker AAnd Ayush became saved.
Speaker AWeeks later, I baptized Ayush.
Speaker AAnd I just love seeing people who've never been a part of church do some of our church stuff because they don't even know how to do it right.
Speaker AAnd it's amazing.
Speaker AI baptized him and I put him under that water, and when he came up, he shot up 8ft like free Willy out of that water.
Speaker AAnd he just screamed, woo.
Speaker AThis is amazing.
Speaker AThis is the best feeling of my life.
Speaker AThe joy of my salvation.
Speaker ASome of you have lost the joy of your salvation when you sit in this seat.
Speaker AOh, Lord, help me.
Speaker AI'm gonna turn this way so I don't offend you.
Speaker AWhen you sit in this seat, you will exchange the joy of your salvation for the criticisms of being a professional Christian.
Speaker AI don't want to be a professional Christian.
Speaker AI don't want to ever get better at Christianity.
Speaker AI want to get better at being surrendered to the Holy Spirit.
Speaker AI want to submit and surrender to him and say, God, whoever you want me to be, however you want me to live, I want to live that way.
Speaker AI don't ever want to be a professional.
Speaker AMatter of fact, for as many people as I lead to Christ on the stages of V1 church, I always go into the streets and say, God, without a piano player behind me, can I still lead them to you?
Speaker AOh, and they cuss me out in New York City and I say, oh, I love being persecuted.
Speaker AI know Peter doesn't respect me yet, but he will one day.
Speaker AWhy do I say this?
Speaker ABecause I want to move you out of this seat today.
Speaker AThis is not why you submitted and surrendered your life to Jesus Christ to sit in this seat full of.
Speaker AI hope they come out with a new song.
Speaker AI hope Bethel and Upper Room and Hillsong come out with a new song.
Speaker AI hope Elevation Church comes out with a new song.
Speaker AI hope we have another conference.
Speaker AI hope that they hype me up with another feel good message.
Speaker AYou did not sit in this seat because this seat is all about emotions.
Speaker AIt's all about feeling.
Speaker AIt's all about your mind.
Speaker AIt's all about what you can experience through that realm.
Speaker AAnd it makes us not that much different than these people.
Speaker ABut there's one more seat, and this is the seat that I came here today to move you into the seat.
Speaker AAnd can I just tell you, when the scriptures Say that broad is the road and many people will walk on it.
Speaker ADo you see now that there's even gonna be people who cast out demons in the name of Jesus and they're gonna do these amazing things and the Lord's gonna say, depart from me, for I never knew.
Speaker AYou see how broad this road is?
Speaker AAnd very few people will ever get to this seat.
Speaker ABut I think that we can get a whole auditorium, people and everybody watching online in this seat today.
Speaker ABecause in this seat, it's, try harder, be a better Christian.
Speaker AOh, I messed up.
Speaker AI can't go to church and show my face because I was vaping and smoking and drinking with this person.
Speaker AI have to try harder.
Speaker AI have to fast, I have to pray.
Speaker AI got a dear woman in my church, and she came to growth track after church one day, and she said, pastor Mike, she said, I've been fasting, I've been praying.
Speaker AI've been reading my Bible more.
Speaker AShe said, I've been giving.
Speaker AI said, praise God.
Speaker AShe said, I've been serving more.
Speaker AI said, praise God.
Speaker AAnd she said, I've been doing all these things as much as I could because I want to receive the gift of tongues.
Speaker AAnd I haven't received the gift of tongues to speak in other languages according to the Spirit.
Speaker AWhy is that, Pastor Mike?
Speaker AAnd what she was revealing is that she was sitting in this seat.
Speaker AI said, if you did all that work, it wouldn't be the gift of the Spirit, it would be the reward of the spirit.
Speaker AIt's not the rewards of the spirit, it's the gifts of the spirit.
Speaker AIf you can earn it, it's a reward.
Speaker ABut you can't earn it.
Speaker AYou only receive it.
Speaker ACan I just tell you, if you're sitting in the seat, you're always trying to earn it.
Speaker AYou're always trying to try harder, push harder.
Speaker ABut there's another way.
Speaker ACan I show you the last and final seat?
Speaker ASee, this seat, you actually don't sit in it at all.
Speaker AThis seat you reserve for the king and you get down on your knees.
Speaker AOh, I'm talking to the blue collar construction working men whose knees hurt from laying tile.
Speaker AI'm talking to the mothers that are changing diapers and raising kids.
Speaker AAnd I'm talking to the white collar professionals in suits right now.
Speaker AYou don't sit in this seat.
Speaker AYou bow before the one who does and you say, jesus, you're worthy of praise.
Speaker AI worship you and you alone.
Speaker AGod, you are the true and living God, and I worship you.
Speaker ALike Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, I have an inheritance and God, if you can do anything with my family, do it.
Speaker AGod.
Speaker AIn this seat, you say, I've been grafted in.
Speaker AAnd God, I want to be that bloodline generational curse breaker.
Speaker AThere's some things that run in my family, but I am where they run out.
Speaker ACome on.
Speaker ACan somebody shout if you know what I'm talking about?
Speaker AThis is how you win the war, by waving your white flag and saying, I was an enemy to God.
Speaker AI was against everything that you stand for.
Speaker ABut my family name is going to mean the name of Jesus Christ.
Speaker AThere's no more Signorelli.
Speaker AThere are just children bought by the blood of the lamb.
Speaker AIn this seat, they're fighting addiction.
Speaker AIn this seat, they're fighting addiction.
Speaker ABut on your knees, addiction is broken.
Speaker AIn Jesus name.
Speaker AIn this seat, it's, oh, how.
Speaker AHow much medication can I have?
Speaker AIn this seat, it's by his stripes I am healed right here.
Speaker AThere's something about this.
Speaker AFirst Corinthians begins to break this down.
Speaker AIt says, but the spiritual man, the spiritually mature Christian judges all things, questions, and examines and applies what the holy Spirit reveals.
Speaker ASomebody say the word reveal, yet himself is judged by no one.
Speaker AThe unbeliever cannot judge and understand the believer's spiritual nature.
Speaker AFor who has known the mind and the purposes of the Lord so as to instruct him?
Speaker AAnother scripture says, his ways are higher than our ways.
Speaker AHis thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
Speaker ACan I just tell you, if you will step into the spiritual dimension and say, jesus, take me by the hand.
Speaker AHe will teach you to walk by the spirit if you will let him take your hand.
Speaker AThere are some things that your mother never got freedom for, but you will.
Speaker AThere are some things that your grandmother and great grandmother never got freedom from, but you will.
Speaker AThere's some things that run through the bloodline on your father's side that your father and grandfather and great grandfather never got freedom from.
Speaker ABut you will be the first because you say, God, I submit and surrender my genetic code, my bloodline, my inheritance.
Speaker AAnd I want to be saved, switched into a new inheritance by the gospel.
Speaker AAnd I want to be what you want me to be.
Speaker AGod.
Speaker AThere's no other explanation for why a trailer park welfare kid is standing in front of you than the blood of Jesus.
Speaker AOh, we're getting ready to pray in a few moments.
Speaker ARecently I did a genealogy and I spent money to have them trace my line back because I said, surely there's got to be something redeemable on one of the sides of my family.
Speaker ADo you know That I got the report back, and when I got it back, premature death on both sides.
Speaker AWhen I got it back, all kinds of dysfunction, jail, all these kinds of things.
Speaker AAnd I said, lord, I thought in my bloodline I was gonna find something significant, clear as day.
Speaker AThe holy spirit said, oh, you did.
Speaker AIt was me.
Speaker AYou thought that your ancestors were gonna make you feel special.
Speaker ABut I actually am.
Speaker AWhat is uncommon?
Speaker AI'm what's uncommon.
Speaker AAnd God will take the common and make it uncommon.
Speaker AThe Bible says he takes the foolish things of the world to confound the wise.
Speaker AHe'll take somebody simple and give them the gift of knowledge.
Speaker AHe'll take someone that's unlearned to give them the gift of wisdom.
Speaker AWhy?
Speaker ASo that Jesus receives all of the glory.
Speaker AAnd so here's my question to every single one of you.
Speaker AWho's next?
Speaker AWhich one of you are gonna surrender and say, okay, Lord, I'm ready.
Speaker AI'm ready to burn for you.
Speaker AI'm ready to live for you.
Speaker AI'm ready to submit and surrender to you.
Speaker AI'm ready.
Speaker ANow watch.
Speaker AGalatians, chapter 5, verse 16.
Speaker AAnd just for a moment, could you just stand to your feet, because I want to pray over you.
Speaker AGalatians, chapter 5, verse 16 says, but I say walk.
Speaker AEverybody say that with me.
Speaker AWalk by the spirit.
Speaker ACome on, say it again.
Speaker AWalk by the spirit.
Speaker ACome on, one more time.
Speaker AWalk by the spirit.
Speaker AThis is your destiny.
Speaker AIt says, walk by the spirit.
Speaker AAnd you will not gratify the desires of the flesh, for the desires of the flesh are against the spirit, and the desires of the spirit are against the the flesh.
Speaker AFor these are opposed to each other to keep you from doing the things that you want to do.
Speaker AOn the V1 church livestream, months ago, my friend EJ was leading worship, and he was singing, and I thought he was singing in tongues.
Speaker AAnd I said, oh, this is so beautiful.
Speaker AWhat an incredible experience.
Speaker ASo I came on stage as the lead pastor, and I said, ej, keep singing.
Speaker AKeep singing, keep singing.
Speaker AWhen it was over, he came to me.
Speaker AHe said, pastor Mike, he said, thank you so much for that moment.
Speaker AI never sang in tongues before.
Speaker AI said, tongues?
Speaker AI thought you were speaking Spanish.
Speaker AHe said, no, I was singing in tongues.
Speaker AI thought it was Spanish.
Speaker AI thought he was singing in Spanish.
Speaker AAnd all of a sudden, while we were still talking, his sister sent him a message and said, hey, ej, since when did you learn Portuguese?
Speaker AAnd he said, I don't know Portuguese.
Speaker AHe said, I'm watching the V1 church livestream, and you're leading worship and you're singing a phrase in Portuguese over and over and over again.
Speaker AHe said, I thought I was singing in tongues.
Speaker AI'm here with Pastor Mike talking about it.
Speaker AWhat was I saying?
Speaker AAnd she typed him back the phrase you were saying.
Speaker AI give all of my adoration to you.
Speaker AThe gifts of the Spirit are real, but you've got to know the gift giver to receive the gift.
Speaker AYou know what I want more than a healing.
Speaker AI want the healer.
Speaker ADo you know what I want more than deliverance?
Speaker AI want the deliverer.
Speaker ABecause when you have Jesus, you have it all.
Speaker AAnd when you know him, he'll distribute gifts to you and things will begin to unlock and you'll go into the job and suddenly you'll have a knowledge about something to say, say to somebody.
Speaker AAnd the tears will begin to fall down their face and they will begin to accept Jesus.
Speaker AWe need to open up into the spiritual realm.
Speaker AAnd how do we do that?
Speaker ASomebody say it with me.
Speaker AWalk by the Spirit.
Speaker AI want to do this with everybody's eyes wide open.
Speaker AIf you're ready to commit your life to Jesus Christ, just lift up one of your hands right now.
Speaker AIs there anybody here?
Speaker ALike, ayush.
Speaker AIs there anybody?
Speaker AI want to live.
Speaker AI want to lift my life up to Jesus.
Speaker AJust lift your hand.
Speaker ACome on.
Speaker AI see you.
Speaker AWow.
Speaker ASeeing a lot of men, it's amazing.
Speaker AYeah, come on, we can celebrate that.
Speaker AWe're going to pray in a moment all over this auditorium.
Speaker ANow, is there anybody else that says, I don't want to sit in the seat.
Speaker AI don't want to be a car carnal Christian.
Speaker AJust lift your hands, both of them, to heaven.
Speaker ARight now, we're going to begin to pray.
Speaker AAnd I believe that as I pray and you pray with me, that not only are you going to be ignited with the fire of the Holy Spirit, but you're going to rededicate your life to Christ.
Speaker AYou're going to join with those who are making the decision right now for the very first time.
Speaker AI believe that physical bodies will be healed.
Speaker AI believe that minds will be restored.
Speaker AI believe that purpose will be realized and the chaos will be broken and turn into clarity in your life.
Speaker AEverybody just say this with me.
Speaker ASay, heavenly Father, I give you my whole life, my past, my pain, my trauma.
Speaker AI give you my physical body.
Speaker AI hold nothing back.
Speaker AWash me with your blood.
Speaker AForgive me of my sins.
Speaker AI submit and surrender to you.
Speaker AHave your way in my life.
Speaker AAnd Father, right now, I give all to you.
Speaker ACome on, let me pray for you guys right now.
Speaker AFather, I pray for every physical body touch and heal their body from every pain.
Speaker AFather, I thank you for tumors and cysts and cancer dying in the name of Jesus right now.
Speaker AFor deaf ears opening and hearing increasing right now.
Speaker AGod, that you would just touch their backs and all arthritis and everything that they're struggling with.
Speaker AAnd I thank you for miracles right now in Jesus name all across this place.
Speaker ACan somebody just shout Amen?
Speaker AAmen.
Speaker ACome on, let's give 20 seconds of praise to the Lord.
Speaker ALet's celebrate what he did.
Speaker ASo saved, bodies healed.
Speaker ACome on, shout unto Jesus.
