Faith & Healing Part 2

0:00 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much God will put the prayer in your heart to pray so that he can answer it, goes into the hearts of the people, does it return void, it produces results. I want you to notice what it was that the Lord confirmed. He confirmed the word. I promise you the Lord is not going to confirm the latest opinion poll. He's not going to confirm. Now I'm dating myself right now, but the Lord will not confirm Reader's Digest.

0:41 He will not. He will confirm his word. And if we don't preach the word, because the text says, and they went out everywhere preaching and the Lord worked with them. And so if we ain't preaching nothing, this is very bad English. I don't recommend if you're an English scholar, you're going to say shame, shame, shame. Everybody knows your name to me. But don't do what I say, not as I do here. But if you don't preach nothing, you can't expect nothing because God will only confirm what you preach.

1:25 And if you're not preaching the unadulterated word of God, write down a line plain and simple with boldness and confidence. It's yeah, that's right. That's Jersey English. That's definitely Jersey English. But you've got to give God something to work with. And when we give him something to work with, he will confirm what we preach. Right. The Lord worked with them confirming the word with signs following. You know, it's using the name of Jesus, laying hands on the sick.

2:09 It's preaching the word in Acts 1044, the gifts of the Spirit coming into manifestations. There's different ways God can heal and bring about a miracle in your body and in your life. Let's not put God in a box. But I would, if one encouraged those of you that are leaders and those of you that are more mature and the things of God, start coveting the power gifts to be in manifestation. Amen. Begin to expect miracles, signs, wonders. Begin to expect these things and use your faith to draw upon the heart of God because it's his will to heal. It's his will to bring manifestations. If any of you have ever read Catherine Coleman's books and all the testimonies of people that were healed by the power of God, not only were people healed as they were standing in line to come into the event, but excuse me, that the stories are heart-wrenching of the things that people went through because of sickness in their body.

3:12 It's just like the woman with the issue of blood. The Bible says she suffered many things of many physicians. She spent all her money and she never got any better. She got worse. So doctors couldn't help her. Nobody could help her. But the Bible says when she heard of Jesus, she pressed in and she touched the hem on this garment. And you know the story, Michael. Power went out of him, into her, and it healed her. And then Jesus turned around. He said, who touched my clothes? You know, the disciples, they didn't get it. You know, until they started operating in the power of God, because you could sense it when power goes out of you and goes into people's bodies. It's a tangible force.

3:53 And you know, and then the woman was afraid to go up to him and say it was me, basically, is what she said. And the scripture says, daughter, your faith has made you whole. Go in peace and be healed of your plague. There is no peace if there's sickness. There is no peace if there's disease. People go to hospitals and doctors. And that's all they do, Michael. But when the power of the Lord is present to heal, he can heal. And he desires to heal. And we should begin to expect more of that in our meetings, in our social gatherings, in our Facebook lives, that the power of the Lord is present to heal.

4:34 We're preaching a word. Well, God said he will confirm the word with signs following, working with us. Amen. Right? Yes, absolutely. You know, one of the things that my dad always taught me is whenever you preach and you get to your conclusion, you need to have a call for a response. And you always make the call of your response in accordance with what you preach. So if you're preaching salvation, then your call is going to be an altar call to invite people to accept Christ.

5:17 But if you're preaching and Jesus healed them all, then your altar call has got to be, if you need the Lord to heal you, come. Because Jesus healed them all, He'll still heal them all. And if you don't step out in faith, God has nothing to confirm. And it's not us, we're not the healer. I don't know how many times I heard Dad Hagen say, and when he was ministering and he'd come to the end of teaching and he would say, Jesus is the healer. He would always emphasize multiple times, even before the prayer line would line up.

6:00 He would say, Jesus is the healer. And then he would say, and one way, one way that God heals is by the laying on of hands. Now Dad Hagen taught us that even in laying hands on people, there's levels or degrees of that. There's laying hands, according to Mark 16, where we just knew it by faith in the name of Jesus. But then we can do it by the tangible anointing. And as a minister or a preacher, and you're ministering healing, you know when the tangible anointing is on you.

6:44 You literally can feel it, that's why we call it tangible. It feels like your hands burn, they get hot. You can feel like you got pins and needles up and down like you banged your elbow. And you feel like electricity is coursing through your, that's the tangible anointing. Why is it that you see a prayer line and the minister is going through whether it be a man of God or a woman of God, and all of a sudden they'll say, that's it, there it is. Why are they saying that? Because it's the same instance of what happened with Jesus, who touched me.

7:26 Because Jesus said, virtue went out of me. He recognized that a tangible anointing left him when she, her faith made a draw. It made a pull on the anointing that was resident in the master. And he knew it, and that's why the preacher, man of God, woman of God, they're in the prayer line and they're laying hands, and they'll say, there it is. They're saying that because they felt the anointing leave their hands. Dan Hagen used to call it the law of contact and transmission, that when our hands may contact, the anointing will be transmitted.

8:17 Well that's at a higher degree than just laying hands on people by faith in the name of Jesus, according to Mark 16. Mark 16 says, they shall recover. That is a process. But Dan Hagen taught us, when ministering under a tangible healing anointing, there are two things that determine how quickly the healing manifests. Number one is the degree of anointing that is administered at the time of the laying out of hands. And number two is the degree of faith that is mixed with that anointing as it is administered.

9:04 Now you know as well as I do, you can be more anointed or less anointed at any given moment. The more time you spend in a word, the more time you spend praying in the spirit, the more time you practice your love walk, the more you crucify your flesh, all of those things increase the anointing so we can be more or less anointed. Our goal is to always be walking in the maximum of the anointing. But number two is the degree of faith that is mixed with the anointing. Using the instance you just used of the woman with the issue of blood, Jesus could have said to her and been right saying it that virtue went out of me and you are healed.

9:57 He could have said that because that did happen. But he gave the credit to her faith. What he said was your faith placed a demand upon the anointing and it's your faith that made you whole. Yes, it was her faith that caused the virtue to go. So Dan Hagen would say the degree of anointing and the degree of faith that is mixed with that anointing as it is administered. So if you have a greater degree of faith and a greater degree of anointing, it happens quicker. Right, but let's also be reminded that it's faith and healing like you said.

10:41 So what is faith? Faith is a substance of two things. The things you hope for and the things you don't see. Right? Now with the woman with the issue of blood, the Bible says when she heard of Jesus, so faith we've said comes by hearing and hearing. And then after she heard, she said something. That's right. And that's what she said denotes continuous action. The scripture actually literally says where she kept saying, if I could just touch the hem of his garment, I know I'll be healed or I will be healed or however she worded it exactly. But the point is she kept saying, I know that if I touch the hem of his garment, I will be healed.

11:26 So your confession, my confession has something to do with our faith. So she spoke what she believed. She heard something. She said something. Then she did something. She acted on her faith. She went up and she touched the hem of his garment and the Bible says virtue went out of him into her and it healed her. And as a result of what she heard, what she said and what she did, she received something. So it's very important, those of you that are listening, that you hold fast to confession of your faith without wavering. Faithful is he that's promised. And here's another thing. It's also important that we begin where we are on little things.

12:07 For example, I'm going to give you an example. My dog was having stomach issues when he reached about two years old and it was bad. He was pooping blood and he was throwing up and it was all kinds of things going on. The doctor tried to put him out for him on medication and so on and so forth. And I'm not against medication. The medication is going to help great, but let's let Jesus also be our healer and the word of God, our medicine. So I just started walking with him and I personally, Michael, everybody's got a different gift. My left hand is the hand that burns. I don't know why, but it's not my right. So when I lay hands on people, I always lay my left hand on people.

12:51 So I would carry him and I'd walk him around. And I'd put my left hand under his belly and I would pray over him in tongues and I would speak the word of God over him and I would speak the word of God over him, speak the word of God. He is totally fine. Now the only thing I have to do with him is in the natural, he can only eat like, I only give him one protein, turkey. And there's just certain things that I've modified, but he doesn't have any more stomach issues because this is my house. This is my dog and no weapon formed against him or prosper. So I use my faith on my dog. I use my faith on things for myself.

13:33 I use my faith for my children as well, but we also have to get our children to come into agreement with us. But I would just encourage those of you that are listening, begin where you are, use your faith where you are. Don't start out believing God for something big. Start out right where it's small. If you have a little wart on your body, pray over it in Jesus' name and say anything that planted by the Lord must be uprooted. Speaking of warts, one time I was in service, Collings Lakes, New Jersey, and there was a little boy that came up and these were the days when we were laying hands on children and they were falling under the power and having visions of Jesus for real.

14:13 And you can't make that stuff up when it happens to the kids. And this one boy went under the power, he had warts, I have warts in my body. Warts is also a virus. So I laid hands on him, I cursed the virus and I quoted that scripture. Anything that planted by the Lord must be uprooted. So the next day he comes back and he says, he says, all 42 warts in my body are gone. I said, he counted them, I guess, you know, and I mean, God healed him. And that wasn't necessarily a recovery, it happened overnight. So like Michael said, there's different ways to receive different degrees and different ways the Holy Spirit will manifest.

14:54 No matter what, watch what you say. Hold fast to confession of your faith. I found in one of my journals, I have a whole list of all these prayer scriptures. I mean healing scriptures, because as a matter of fact, I have an audio called healing scriptures and I made it. Believe it or not. I made that healing scriptures with the help of a friend of mine who was an audio video guy. I made it when I was not feeling good. And I'm like, no devil, you are not doing this to me. You have to be tenacious in your faith and strong in the faith. Be strong in the Lord, the Bible says, and in the power of this might. Don't put up, some of you are putting up with things you should not be putting up with.

15:35 Don't put it up with it. I literally stood in my family room here. I had all my scriptures. I was all miked up. The whole thing. And I did those healing scriptures not feeling well. Okay. And I didn't care. The word of God works. Put the word of God in your heart and it will bring healing and deliverance, safety and soundness to you. Absolutely. You know, I don't know about you, but I have found that some of the most powerful messages I've ever preached have been when I was under physical attack.

16:17 And a lot of them have happened on the mission field when I ended up eating something that didn't necessarily agree with my normal system. Right, you're eating stuff that you don't normally eat because you, you know, when in Rome, you do like the Romans and you eat what's set before you. And sometimes it's stuff that you're not used to eating. We just, you know, that and I just went to Trinidad and we just came back from Trinidad and while we were there, we were going to this restaurant that was in the hotel and we asked, you know, what the menu was in the restaurant, the girl at the desk said, well, they have like burgers and fries and pizza.

17:05 And dad and I were like, burger and fries, that sounds good. And the girl, we should have picked up on the hint that she was giving us. And she said, the pizza's really good. Yes. That was a hint. Order the pizza. Don't order the burger. We did not listen to the hint. I guess she wasn't allowed to say, don't eat the burgers. They're not very good. Probably lose your job if she said that. So we ate the burgers and I started eating this burger and I said to dad, it tastes like meatloaf. It doesn't taste like a burger.

17:46 And dad got about halfway through with his and he said, this don't taste right. I'm not going to finish this. Well, by that time I had devoured it and I eaten the whole thing. The next morning I was wishing that I did not eat that burger that tasted like meatloaf because I literally was sick and I had to go and preach. And I'm sitting there in service and my stomach's doing the cha-cha. And lo and behold, I got up and pressed through and the power of God hit me. I've preached one of the most powerful messages, came time for ministry and impartation and people got ministered to and got delivered and got healed and got touched by God.

18:39 Some of the most powerful things you'll ever have happen to you is when you press through and just do what you know you're supposed to do. Uh-oh. Margie's putting her glasses on. She wants to read something. Well, because Lisa said she's believing for healing her digestive. So I don't really think it's, I know it's not an accident that we brought this up. So why don't we just pray for Lisa. So Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your word. Yes. Oh Lord, I thank you. Your word says you sent your word and you healed them and delivered them from their destruction. So Lisa just put your hand on your digestive area. So in the name of Jesus, we release the power and the presence of God.

19:23 There you go. Receive that. Receive it. To go into Lisa's digestive tract in the name of Jesus and by the stripes, Lord God, you bore on your body. Lisa is healed. I speak healing, wholeness, preservation in the name of Jesus, the pain. We command the pain to go in Jesus' name Father. I thank you Lord. I thank you Lord. I thank you Lord. Now Lisa just lift your hands and just say thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Lord, we believe.

20:05 We believe. Blessed are those that believe. Father we believe and we receive. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. There's always time to interrupt the normal course of a program and make room to minister to somebody. And the day that we're not sensitive to the needs of the people is the days we just have to quit and say we're done playing church. So I'm always open for that. That's wonderful. Thank you, sis, for being. I was wondering why you're putting your glasses off. You know the Bible says Jesus was moved with compassion and healed the sick.

20:52 So when we sense that compassion for someone, that's the compassion of the Lord. It's compassion that healed the sick. So Lord's love and compassion is towards those that are in pain and are suffering. And like you said in the very beginning, he is not only able, he's willing. Amen. Absolutely. Well, we've got about nine minutes left on this broadcast. Do you have any other things in your notes that you really feel stirred you want to hit tonight? I think we've said everything that I feel I said everything that was in my heart.

21:33 And some and more. Okay. I'm going to just make a little rabbit trail here and I'm going to go one step further and where we were. All right, angel, Father in the name of Jesus, we send the word of healing to angel right now for your knees and for your hips. The word says that he sent his word and healed them. So we send the word of healing into angels body right now to her knees.

22:14 And just as a point of contact and reference, I'm rubbing my two knees right now in the name of Jesus, Father, what I'm touching here, you touch there and I take authority over pain and over discomfort, every arthritic symptom, every symptom that would keep her from having mobility. I thank you for the oil and the lubrication of the Holy Ghost, moving and her joints, giving her freedom to move without pain in Jesus name.

22:54 And I speak to her hips and I command them to come into a line and that every pain would be broken and would bow to the authority of the name of Jesus. I thank you for the power of the resurrection being made alive in her body from the top of her head to the souls of her feet in Jesus name. Amen. All right, so I'm going to go one step further. I hit on the fact that we lay hands on the sick, according to Mark 16, and we do that in faith.

23:34 We went into that we can minister by a tangible healing anointing, which is a different degree. The degree above that is what Margie started talking about, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the power gifts, the gifts of healings, the working of miracles and the gift of special faith. Right along with those, many times you'll find that the revelation gifts will piggyback or work in tandem with the power gifts. And the word of knowledge may come revealing a particular instance that God wants to deal with right at that moment.

24:15 The word of knowledge will come, God wants to deal with it, and then the gifts of healings will manifest. I will say this, lay hands on the sick, Mark 16, they recover, tangible anointing mixed with faith, the greater the anointing, the greater the faith, the quicker the manifestation. When the gifts of the Spirit are in manifestation, it is always instantaneous. And the faith of the person operating in the gift has nothing to do with it. And the faith of the individual has nothing to do with it.

24:58 Because a gift of the Holy Spirit, a manifestation of the Spirit, is a supernatural work, it's a sovereign work of God that is administered by the Holy Spirit that is the governor of the church. And the Bible is very clear that these things operate as the Spirit of God wills. So your faith or my faith or Margie's faith has absolutely nothing to do with it. It is all based on a sovereign act of the Spirit of God. And that's always instantaneous.

25:38 I could go all day and start talking about levels of healing or methods of healing. The truth is, God wants you healed. He doesn't want you sick. And He's provided a plethora of ways for you to receive your healing. But one of the ways, and Dad Hagen taught us this, everybody knows, Mark 11, 22, 23, and 24, you can believe for yourself and speak for yourself and receive your own healing for yourself based on the Word of God.

26:18 That's where I wanted to go. We've got four minutes left, sis. I want you to go ahead and pray for the people as you feel led. Father, we just, we know you're here. You're right with us. And Father, we just, all of us that are listening, whether it be Kingdom First TV or the podcast or YouTube, Father, we all just ask that you would begin to manifest yourself like you did in the days of Catherine Coleman, that the working of miracles, gifts of healings and the gifts of faith would come into greater and greater manifestation in the times and in the seasons that we live in right now.

27:01 Father, I just want to remind you of your word that you said that many believed on Jesus because of the miracles. So we ask and we covet earnestly that these things would manifest. And we promise we will move aside and hide behind the cross and we will give you all the praise, all the honor and all the glory for everything that's said and done. And Lord, if there's anyone here that is listening, that needs to be healed by your power, I pray that as they touch their phone or touch their TV or touch whatever they need to touch the screen, I pray that virtue would manifest and flow into their bodies in the name of Jesus.
