0:00 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. God will put the prayer in your heart to pray so that he can answer it. It goes into the hearts of the people, doesn't return void, it produces results. Of what we're called to be and called to do. That's why it's not a time for you to grow weary. It's not a time for you to draw back. It's not a time for you to retire. It's a time for you to refire. Oh, but I'm old, I'm in aid, I'm this, I'm that. No, no, no, no, no. God has need of you in this hour.

0:42 You're the mothers, you're the fathers, you're the grandparents. You hold the key in your hands. It's time. We've got to keep doing. I can't, I can't retire. It's not a time to retire, my friends. And so I went into this meeting and I'm just like, Lord, what do I tell them? And I heard on the inside, and you know, God doesn't speak audibly all the time. Do you know when he speaks audibly? I learned this from Kenneth E. Hagen. When there's rough road ahead. When he says, I want you to stay on the promise, because it's yes and amen, but there's usually rough road ahead. He wants to hold us steady by his spoken word.

1:23 So I heard audibly on the inside, you tell these mothers that those who I call, I equip. He said, before I ever formed them in their mother's womb, I knew them. And I have put within them everything they need to survive and prevail in the times such as this. And I was speaking in a women's conference with Yolanda Stiff, and a lot of this is in my book. I'm just giving you highlights.

2:03 And, you know, the Lord was directing me and developing the mantle and the mandate to call us all to prayer for the rising generations. And all of a sudden I was teaching, and I went into a seer anointing. And I started to see, you know, the Holy Ghost will just come upon you randomly without you, you know. You know what I mean? You could ever do that. You're just minding your own business, and all of a sudden you start operating in the gifts of the Spirit. I love that, don't you? So I was teaching, all of a sudden I started operating in a seer anointing, and I saw the rising generations, the Millennials, the Zs, and I saw a great sea of them.

2:45 And they were all running the race, and they were all on a path. And then the Lord said, there's never been a day like this day whereby there are so many five-fold ministry gifts on the inside of these Zs and on the inside of these Millennials. And the devil sees it, and he is afraid. He said, they are marked by me, they are chosen by me, my mantle is upon them. I've graced them with the gifts of the Spirit, and there's war over this destiny. But let me just say this, because this isn't my message.

3:25 These kids don't know how to pray. So we've got to enter in, and we've got to not only teach them and train them by precept and example, but we've got to go in, and we've got to be, some of us got to be like the Aarons and the Heres as parents, and hold up their arms so that that which is within them can come forth and be born. Orabash sheketa mahasaya naneyama sharabash satah. Yes, Ecclesiastes 3.2 says there is a time to be born. It's no accident they were born.

4:06 No accident my kids were born out of my womb. Has there been war over their destiny? Yes. And for me personally, can I just be honest, are we family? I went through a very difficult time the last four years, and when I went through my own personal struggle, I kind of lacked, I was, I didn't press in like I normally would war over the hearts and destiny of my children. I saw the fruit of it. And I'm telling you, the Lord's been, and not that anything major bad, but you can see the fruit of prayerlessness. Is there a watchman in the house?

4:48 Proverbs 31 says this woman who's a virtuous woman, like you all are, your mothers, she watches over her household. That watchman anointing. Father, as I preach this word, I thank you for a revival, a renewal, and a pouring out of the watchman seer anointing on the inside of every parent, every mother, every father. We covet earnestly, Lord, that the gifts of the Spirit would be in operation, the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, discerning of spirits, so that they can see and hear and know and be effective watchmen in their own houses.

5:30 She looks well on her household. He's not just talking about clothing and what you wear. He's talking about being able to watch. And when you watch in the Spirit, you're not operating in the natural, because you know things by revelation. Your kid may be like, hey, everything's fine, but on the inside, the Holy Ghost will instruct you and lead you, and He'll guide you into all truth. He will show you things to come. So it's that watchman anointing. So I thank you, Father, for Psalms 92-10. Ah-ha-she-keh. On everyone under the sound of my voice, even including those that are home in Jesus' name, I thank you that spiritual things are transferable, so we covet earnestly a desire that these gifts manifest in our homes and in our families.

6:21 Who said the watchman anointing is only for church? I'm so over it. Listen, I'm not over it being in the church. I'm just over everybody just hoarding up the gifts for church. We should go into the highways and the byways, and we should be operating as the church everywhere we go, because honestly, there's no showing off when you're in the highways and the byways and on the streets of Newark. No, you're only like, love is compelling me to help this person, not showing off. Kennedy Hagen once said, and Pastor, I thought it was going to be us.

7:03 How old are you? I'll tell my age if you tell your age. You want to come back? Seventy-eight. Seventy-eight? That's impossible. What? What? Impossible. Impossible. It's all the olive oil. That olive oil, telling you, it's a miracle oil.

7:46 Well, I'm 67. Right? I thought it was going to be us. I thought we were going to be the people. I thought, we're the people. This is a place. Now is the time. I thought we were going to be the ones to see this. But Kennedy Hagen prophesied when I was in Bible school, and he said, there's going to come a generation, and it'll be said of them like it was said of the early church. They that have turned the world upside down have come hither also. The early church operated in signs. The early church was bold. The early church operated in miracles.

8:29 The early church was a faceless church. It was all about Jesus. I believe it's going to be our young people. So really quickly, so what are we going to do? We're going to pray. Prayer, one of my most favorite quotes from the heart of God that he gave me. Oh, I think it was Joyce Meyer. She taught me. Now I teach you. See how it works? Let me just say this about that. What you've put in your kids, your children, your young people, it will not reach her void.

9:16 It is an incorruptible seed that lives and abides forever. Train up a child in a way that they should go. When they are old, they will not depart from it. They may stray. They may have a fit. They may take a shot of tequila. They may do all these things. But I'm telling you, whatever you've put within your children, they've been touched by God in church. You were faithful to bring them to church. You did the right thing. It's not your fault. Why do we always blame the parents? Maybe it's something we did right, not something we did wrong. Maybe it's just the will of the child.

9:57 Or maybe it's your child that has a major call, and that particular child is not a problem child, but that particular child is a strong-willed child who is a leader. I think it's wisdom. As a matter of fact, in my book, Content, I talk about some books of parents we should read. What's it called? The Strong-Willed Child and the Five Love Languages of Children. If we had some natural head now, I think it would help us. But prayer opens up the door for God to work. Are we preparing the way for our children and spirit? How many of you moms know what I'm talking about? About all the countless hours spending driving them to hockey, dance class, baseball, art classes, sewing classes, all kinds of activities.

10:50 How many of you spent more than eight hours a day in the car? Can I see your hand right now? That's a Mother's Day gift in and of itself. But let me tell you, the greatest act of love that we could do for our children is not just these natural things, but John 15, 12, and 30 is to lay down our lives in prayer, in intercession for our children. And I'm telling you, we get so busy, because especially those of us in New York, New Jersey, maybe not as much as Pennsylvania. Don't be mad at me, Pennsylvania, but you guys have it easier than we do here. You know, we're busy. We're moving. We're shaking. We drive black cars. We wear a lot of black clothes.

11:31 We have long black hair. We have eyelashes. We have extensions. We've got it all going on. We're busy. Botox, filler. We just got it all going on. Working out, Pilates, strength training. Right? We have a lot going on around here. But we've done all these things in the natural. We've got to do that which is the most important part. We've got to enter into the place of prayer and get out of our busyness.

12:14 Get out of the distractions. You are distracted, many of you. I'm distracted. I said to God, God, I've got to make some changes. It's okay. We make changes. Moms, we feel guilty. We feel guilty. Aren't I guilty? We're always guilty. I'm not trying to add more guilt. I'm just saying sometimes we've got to rearrange our schedules, make room for God, do that which is the first works. Really, we've got to start praying for our kids. James 516 says the effective, earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic, and it's working.

12:58 Catherine Coleman once said, the greatest power given to any individual is the power of prayer. This is one of my favorite quotes. Did anybody ever read The Circle Maker by Mark Batterson? No? It's a great book. He said, each prayer is like a seed that gets planted in the ground. Prayer is your highest privilege as a parent. Can I just say this about that, especially some of us that are over 60? Prayer doesn't always have to be on your knees. I did that. Been there, done that.

13:38 Now I get on my knees, I'm like, you get on my knees, on my back. You know, it's like you could pray any posture in prayer and your prayer opens up the door for God to work. It's not based on works or posture. It's based on faith. It's based on praying the word of God in the scriptures, and it's based on praying in the Holy Ghost. So what I do, I lay in bed. I have a new teaching. Well, I call it, continual prayer, praying in your bed, and there's another one. I forgot what it is, but I learned that after I kneed in the back.

14:21 I've realized you don't have to go into a room, Matthew 6, 6, and shut the door. Right? I learned that you can continually pray. It's really a cool teaching. But I also learned you can pray in your bed. The psalmist said I'm in my bed, and I'm meditating on the Lord. I'm praying in my bed. So you're going to be laying in bed when the kids are in bed, when the kids are asleep. Everybody's quiet. The house is quiet. Everybody's quiet. But here on the inside, Jesus, God said, I neither slumber nor sleep. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive unto the prayer that is made in you, the house of prayer.

15:02 And when you pray, your prayer goes up before the throne of God. It is like a sweet incense. I hearken unto the voice of your prayers. Go boldly, draw boldly into the throne of grace. Obtain mercy on the behalf of your children. And I, the Lord, will not leave them. I, the Lord, will not forsake them. I am with them always, even unto the end of the age. Whoo. Prayer turns ordinary parents into prophets. I want to be a prophet. I want to be a prophet.

15:42 I want to be a prophet. Everybody wants to be a prophet so they can show off. So over it. Sorry, that's my little. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? I'm not despising prophecy, so don't get me wrong. But you got to be careful. If you're a true prophet, you keep your mouth shut. And you don't tell everything you know and you definitely don't brag about everything you know on social media. Oh, I prophesied that. I prophesied that. Oh, I prophesied that five years ago. Oh, here it is. It came to pass. So what? The prophecies will cease, all the gifts of the Spirit will cease.

16:22 Did you know how to love? Did you learn how to walk in love? It's going to be at the very end of the day where we all stand before him. Did you learn how to love? As all this stuff is going to pass away, but faith works by love. All the gifts are going to pass away, but it's all about love. Love will never fail. How do we get off on that? Prayer turns ordinary parents into prophets who shape the destinies of their children, grandchildren, and every generation that follows. Your prayers for your children are going to be the greatest legacy you can leave.

17:05 I didn't realize this with my first book, Mark for Intercession. It's not as well written as the rest of them because I had Ashley, an editor, help me. And you become a better writer the more you do it. You're never too old. But I put this in my first book, Mark for Intercession. I said I dedicate this book to my three children, Jonathan, Danielle, Jacqueline. They didn't have spouses at the time. They become another assignment, right? The spouses, then the grandkids, that's another assignment. I said long after I've left this earth, my prayers, your prayers, will continue to prevail because all your prayers are eternal.

I'm not going to get into all of it because I told pastor I overprepare and then I see how the Holy Ghost takes me. Right, pastor? How do you pray for your children? First of all, know the promises. 1 John 5, 14, this is, and you know what? You know the promises. You've been trained well. I'm just trying to get through my own battle. Get out of your battle. Job's captivity was turned when he prayed for his friends. Not only that, God gave Job twice as much as he had before. I know you're in a battle. But if you turn your attention off of yourself and turn your attention on the need at hand, your battles will go away.

18:45 This is the confidence we have in approaching God that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. His will is his word. Really quickly, really quickly, what's his will? He said, I would that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. The apostle Paul was on a wrong road, getting going on the wrong path. His name was Saul. In a second, he was hammered by the Holy Ghost and turned into another man. I like what my friend Maria Conrad always says. Apprehend them, Jesus. May there be a Holy Ghost apprehension. He said, I want them all saved. Acts 16, believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved and your household.

19:26 That's it. That's it. No question about it. Can't have them, devil. Now I'm saved and my whole entire household. Got it? I'm not backing down. I'm not stopping. They're all going to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Romans 1, 16. I am not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes. That word salvation, this is general and I'm going to skip over a lot of this because we have to close. Salvation, general, means sotaria. That Greek word, it means healing, deliverance, safety and soundness.

20:07 Right? Your kid gets his permit. Holy God. I had two with a permit all at once. Then I had two with permits and one with a license. What do you think my main prayer was? Day in, day out. Besides the Ephesians prayer that God would open up the eyes of their understanding, besides the Ephesians prayer that says God give them revelation of your love, the height, the depth, the breadth. You could pray that every day. You could pray it all the time for your kids. This is called intercession. I prayed that Psalms 91 prayer. You'll give your angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways.

20:47 In their pathway there's life and there's no death or harm in Jesus' name. I plead the blood of Jesus. I thank you Lord that your name is like a banner. It's over their car and they just ride along in that car baby doll and they are safe. That's the will of God. Then what do you do after you've prayed certain scriptures? Because you know you've got to pray the word, right? Pray in the Holy Ghost. Can I be honest with you? I'm going to close pretty quickly now. Can I just be honest with you? People aren't praying in the Holy Ghost.

21:28 We pray the word for our kids. Here we go. Take their need to the word, to the promise. Agree with the promise. That's what you present before the throne of God. That's what you declare before the throne of God. I can't tell you to pray without telling you how. That's what you do. You take the promise. Here's the promise. You take their need to the word of God. You agree with the word. You present that before the throne of God. Here's an example. Say you've got a child who's extremely insecure. Pray Ephesians 3.

22:10 They'll have a revelation of the love of God. You know the perfect love casts out fear? Or maybe they have an eating disorder. That's an insecurity. That's a weird kind of a fear thing, right? Pray that they have a revelation of the love of God. Let's say you have a child who's been in church. Now he's like running from God. Pray that the eyes of their heart would be open and enlighten them. Pray that the Holy Spirit that's on the inside of them would rise up. That the greater one would rise up and give illumination to their mind. And draw them back. Didn't the word of God say that the Holy Spirit comes to what? To convict and convince the world of their need for Jesus.

22:53 So you start to pray like that. Pray the word of God. Pray the Holy and then pray in the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit's going to start to hover around them and start to convict them. Convince them. Rise up in them. Influence them. No prayer, no influence. Prayer, there's influence. Divine influence. Influence you can't even see. But you know he's there. Because the Holy Spirit is a person. And you begin to pray the word and pray in the Holy Ghost on their behalf. And I'm telling you there's going to be divine influence. And you'll see things turn around sometimes quickly. Sometimes after a month. Sometimes after a year.

23:33 Sometimes it takes even longer than that. Jesus said in Luke 18, one man ought to always pray and not faint. Don't faint. Don't quit. Don't stop. Just keep praying. So we pray the word. We don't pray worry prayers. Have you ever prayed a worry prayer? Oh God. And you pray worry. The worry thing. You're worrying and you're worrying and you're worrying. You're praying a worry prayer. Have you ever prayed a worry prayer? Pray the word of God. You can say to God, hey Lord, like you see what's going on here. Of course he does. My eyes are open. I got it. But you take that need to the word of God.

24:14 You begin to declare the word of God. The word of God doesn't return void. Listen. Witchcraft people understand this. The word of God goes into the atmosphere. It cuts away hard places. It doesn't return void. It brings rain. It brings conviction. And it creates, even the new agers even get this. It creates an atmosphere around them. Because the word of God is spirit and life. And it will produce results. But after, right? But after you've prayed everything you know to pray, pray in the Holy Ghost. I walk the floors. I pray in tongues. The apostle Paul said, I thank my God.

24:54 I speak in tongues more than you all. Praying in tongues. How many pray in tongues? When you pray, oh glory to God. When you pray in tongues, you're praying according to the will of God. And this is the confidence that we have in him. If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know he hears us, we know we have the petitions we desire. Praying in the Holy Ghost is praying according to the will of God. Not our own will for our children. But praying in the Holy Ghost is praying exactly what needs to be prayed for our children.

25:39 Because we're praying out of purpose. We're praying out of destiny. We're praying out of eternity. Things we don't know about our children, the Holy Ghost knows. Because he searches the hearts. He knows what is the mind of the spirit. So when we pray in the Holy Ghost, we speak not unto men but unto God. And we're praying out the mystery that which is hid from you regarding your children is being prayed out with precision. Thank you, Lord. So that's the power of a praying parent. Let's stand.

27:00 Number one, we also prayed for God to anoint you with fresh oil. He did that. Number two, the words that we spoke went into you. And it's going to produce fruit in your prayer lives. If you could just go ahead and start to play. I want to see which direction he's going to have me go. A lot of people aren't filled with the Holy Ghost. That's quite interesting. Because people have neglected tongues, they don't understand. That's a whole other teaching. I have one church I'm in relationship with. About every 12 to 15 months, he says, could you come in and teach on the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the next time teach on white tongues?

27:40 I don't know when I got filled with the Holy Ghost, I started speaking in tongues and I never stopped. I didn't even need a lot of teaching. I just knew that the Holy Ghost gave me this language. And it's a language that goes beyond any language that is on this earth. And it goes right into the heart of God. From my heart to his heart produces results. So this is what we're going to do. I'm going to ask everyone to close their eyes. Thank you, Lord. I want you to lift your hands. Can you feel, can you sense?
