Prayer for a Nation Kingdom Connections with Apostle Michael Fram Part 1

0:00 You pray it and he can answer it. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. God will put the prayer in your heart to pray so that he can answer it. Goes into the hearts of the people, doesn't return void, it produces results. Well, good evening, everybody. Welcome to another edition of Kingdom Connections. I am your host, Apostle Michael Fram, with Prophetic Destiny Ministries International in Sayerville, New Jersey. Normally we start at eight o'clock Eastern and five o'clock Pacific.

0:40 But unfortunately we had a little bit of technical difficulty today. It seems that Restream, which is the platform that we are using, had changed their software a little bit and Prophet Margie had a little bit of trouble getting in to the Restream backstage area so that we could do the broadcast tonight. And apparently we've been having some issues throughout the week as everybody adapts to the changes in the login via Restream. So we'll get it all worked out here, but better to start a few minutes late than to not do this broadcast.

1:22 And I am so happy and excited to have my dear sister with me tonight. I am sure that to most of you that are part of Love & Unity or are part of Kingdom First TV and you watch Kingdom First, Prophet Margie has her own program that is on Kingdom First. And normally she is on, I believe it's on Tuesday nights, she has her program on. And she's part of Love & Unity and she helps us a lot with things regionally and some of the convergences. And we've been friends for a long time.

2:04 And we've been doing broadcasts now for I don't even know how many years. Even before I got involved with Love & Unity and before I got involved with Kingdom First TV, Prophet Margie has done broadcasts with me. We have ministered together. I've been to her meetings and supported her. She's been to my meetings and supported me. And so it's a privilege and an honor for me to have her with me again tonight. And tonight we're going to be talking about prayer for a nation. Those of you that know Prophet Margie, she does have a mandate to teach the body of Christ how to pray.

2:48 And she excels in that subject. She's anointed in that subject. And she's a blessing to the body of Christ. And she's a blessing to me. So Sis, I don't know that you really need to introduce yourself. I think you can just say whatever you wanna say and jump off and go where you wanna go. Hello everybody, it's good to be here. Yes, we had a little bit of a challenge getting on tonight. I don't think that's an accident. I think that we live in a world that the enemy is trying to keep the believers from exercising their authority and speaking the word of God and teaching people how to even use their authority.

3:35 But thank you, Michael, for having me tonight or today, wherever you're listening from. When Apostle Michael asked me about being on for this particular session, I said, well, let's just pray about it, right, Michael? Like we always do. And I woke up about two weeks ago, approximately maybe 10 days. And upon awakening, I heard in my heart, prayer for a nation, prayer for the nation. And this is before the election. This is before we knew the results of the election. And to be quite honest, it doesn't really matter because we're gonna get into this no matter who's president, vice president, no matter who's in authority, we still have to pray for our nation.

4:21 We still have to pray for all those that are in authority. But I really felt like God was directing us, Apostle Michael and I, to do this particular subject, prayer for the nation. So that's where we're heading to tonight. So I thank you for having me and I appreciate it, Michael. Oh, you're quite welcome, my dear. You just go ahead and take your liberty. You know, mi casa su casa, you're my sister. You can do whatever you want. You can do no wrong. So wherever you wanna go is fine with me. Well, I appreciate it. So I do have some notes here from some of my KIU events that I've spoken on. And basically I feel like why is it time to pray for our nation?

5:05 Well, it's time to pray for our nation because no matter who is in authority, who has won this presidential election, it's still time to pray for our nation. Amen. You know, we are living in perilous times. We're living in a time and a season where we know that Satan is the God of this present world, the God of this age. And he's gonna continue to fight us. He's gonna continue to fight the purpose and the plan of God for a nation, our nation particularly. And we have to continue to stand and we have to continue to believe.

5:46 And as you know, Michael, you've heard me say this before, that prayer opens up the door for God to work. Amen. We have not because we ask not. If we don't pray, God can't do what he desires to do. Prayer unties the hands of God. And people will be like, well, what do you mean prayer unties the hands of God? No, it's not quesada, quesada, whatever will be, will be. We men and women are God's avenue into the earth. Jesus gave all of us power and authority here on this earth to be his representatives. So that's why we have got to pray, we've got to stand, we have to collaborate with him, we have to co-labor with him and we've got to exercise our authority because if we don't, Satan who's the God of this world is gonna continue to infiltrate.

6:40 So it's very important to understand that as believers, that our prayers open up the door for God to work. That's why we have to pray. So basically, I mean, I have these notes in front of me, but I'm hearing a scripture in my spirit and I'm gonna see if I can find it. It's the scripture that comes from, it's Proverbs 29 two, says when the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. When a wicked man rules, the people groan.

7:20 So thank God, you know, that when a righteous man is in authority, people are happy. But woe to the nation when a wicked man is in authority. But either way, no matter what, we can still pray and prayer opens up the door for God to work. As a matter of fact, the Bible says that the heart of the King is in the hand of the Lord and he turns it whatsoever way he wills. So that when we pray, when we exercise our authority, God can work in the heart of the leader, in the heart of the person and he can turn it whatsoever way he wills. We don't have to be dismayed.

8:01 We don't have to be upset. We have to stand in faith and believe God and understand that our faith can move mountains and can change the heart of not only a man, but the heart of a nation. Amen. You know, I know we're gonna get into some stuff, but the scripture that came to me just as you were talking because you said, doesn't matter who gets elected or who wins the election, we have the responsibility to pray for the nation. And I'm thinking of the verse that kind of rose up out of my spirit that Paul wrote to Timothy that first of all, prayer and giving of thanks will be made for all men, especially for kings and all those that are in authority.

8:58 Now we don't live in a monarchy and we don't have kings, but we do have presidents. We do have prime ministers in many places. And so we pray for those leaders and all that are in authority. We have that responsibility. And when we do, there is a promise attached to that instruction. And the promise attached to the instruction is that it may be well with us. And I think one of the reasons many times is that we don't see it being well with people in a nation is because the people in the nation are not fulfilling their part of the obligation.

9:45 When God gives a conditional promise, do this and it will be well with you. Well, if we don't do this, we don't have a right to expect God to make it well with us. So I believe we must pray for all those that are in authority over us. The other verse that I was thinking of is you were talking about when the righteous rule and righteousness exalts the nation. And we were praying for leaders. We prayed that God would raise up righteous leaders and righteous judges so that righteous judgment would be made manifest within the nation.

10:31 And I don't know why all of a sudden I feel like my insides are on fire, but right now I feel like my insides are on fire. You know, based on what I've been through in the last several months, I feel like I'm coming back into myself and I'm becoming who I was pre what I was dealing with and it's on me right now. But we're supposed to run tonight. So go ahead and I'm gonna shut up. No, well, you said it, it's right here. Therefore I exhort, first of all, that supplications, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all that are in authority.

11:17 Why, why? That we may lead a godly, a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our savior who desires that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. So in essence, first of all, what we need to do is we need to pray for those that are in authority before we do anything. Whether we agree with them and whether we do not. So let me just tell you a brief story. When I, I mean, I'm still traveling, but I've been in ministry 44 years. Back in the day, many of you who are my age, retirement age, which I'm not retiring, I'm continue to refire, you remember Ronald Reagan.

12:05 And I don't know if many, any of you remember that curse that was upon that particular year of his presidency. It was the curse whereby that particular presidency, that president was going to be annihilated and to be, and would die in office. Well, we found out about that curse. It's coming up in my heart right now. So I can't Google it to tell you what exactly what it was. But I remember we heard about it. And everywhere I went, every speaking engagement I had before I ever spoke, before I ever did anything, we prayed for Ronald Reagan and we prayed divine protection over him. We prayed in Jesus name that no weapon formed against him will prosper.

12:49 And I led congregations in prayer over and over and over. We prayed the word of God, we prayed Psalms 91, and we prayed in the Holy ghost. And several months after all this prayer that we did, you know, there was an attempt on his life. But you know the story with Ronald Reagan. He was not shot, he was not killed, his life was spared. And I believe our prayers opened up the door for God to work. And because of our prayers, we were able to surround him with peace. We were able to surround him with the angels of God. We prayed the Psalm of protection over him. And therefore it canceled that curse that was upon that presidency.

13:36 And so I think that's what we need to do even coming into this next president. We need to pray prayers of protection. We need to pray prayers of guidance. We need to pray the word of God. We need to pray that the heart of the King who was the president, who is in the hand of the Lord would that would be divinely directed by God, that God would give our upcoming president wisdom, revelation, knowledge and insight, not only that, but even the current president. We need to pray for our current president. I've been praying for our current president that God protects him, that God gives him wisdom, that God strengthens him, that God helps him.

14:19 It doesn't matter who's president. We need to pray first of all, for those that are in authority. Why? That we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. And the rest of the scripture says, for this is good and acceptable on the side of God, our savior, who would that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth? So that scripture is really, Michael, the one that I really felt really impressed in my heart for tonight is first of all, and we pray so many times for all these other things, but really, really, we need to pray first of all for all those that are in authority. And not only just the leaders of our nation, but even those in ministry, ministry leaders.

15:03 There's a lot of ministry leaders who are really struggling and suffering and having hardship and hard times and really just doing their best to obey God. Let's not neglect the gift that God has given us. And the gift that God's given us is not just the political leaders, but just the leadership in our churches, our pastors, our leaders, our apostles. They need our prayers. Like we said, prayer opens up the door for God to work. And let me just tell you, this is obviously a rabbit trail. Your leader is not gonna tell you if they're struggling. That's what they're done.

15:44 Low to tell you that they're struggling or they have stuff going on. No, we as peers, we talk amongst one another, but not all the time do we do that. But they're not gonna tell you. But I'm gonna tell you, if you feel a love for your pastor, a love for your leader, or you get a dream about him or her, you know what, that's the Holy Spirit saying, you need to pray for your leader. And let me just say this, don't pray your own opinion. Don't pray your own will. Don't pray what you think your ministry leader should do. You pray the word of God. The apostle Paul said multiple times, I actually have a little mini book on this, Prayer for the Ministry Gifts.

16:27 The apostle Paul said multiple times, pray for us. Why? That the word of the Lord may have free course, right? This is not about us as leaders and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men. Pray that the word of God that is in us would flow forth and that it would minister grace to the hearers, that it would help people, that it would help you, that it would help our congregations. But also pray that doors would be opened. For what? The apostle Paul said, so that we could preach the word. So I think that ministry leaders are very selfless. They're not gonna tell you all the time when they need prayer. But I think we need to be sensitive to our ministry leaders and we need to stand in the gap.

17:13 We need to put up a hedge around them. We need to pray for them. We need to pray that God would give them revelation. God would give them wisdom in their decision-making and that God would open up doors for them so that the word of God can be preached and have free course. I know this is a rabbit trail. I apologize, apostle Michael. But sometimes when I speak, I can feel the word of God going forth and it's going forth and the hearts of the people are open and receptive and there's wisdom, there's revelation. I'm saying things I never heard myself say before. I'm anointed Psalms 92, 10 with fresh oil.

17:54 It's so amazing, so fun. And then there's times it's not like that. There's times I'm preaching and I'm speaking and it's like, get me out of here. I wanna run away from here. I wanna quit. I don't wanna do ministry anymore. The word of God's going forth. It's hitting against the wall. It's hitting me in the face. And it's like you're like at a battle right when you're preaching and teaching. Now, those of you that are listening, you may not have never heard any of us say this before, but I'm telling you the truth. It's not always easy being in leadership and ministry. But if the devil can get to the top, he can get to the people. That's why even when it comes to praying for our leaders and our nation, if the enemy can get to the top, he can get to the people.

18:39 That's why we need to surround all of our leaders with prayer, with the word of God, with praying in tongues, with our authority and just believe God on their behalf and stand with them. Like Erin and her, right? With Moses. The Bible says as long as they held up the arms of Moses, the miracles kept flowing. God kept moving. God kept doing what he wanted to do. But there were people that were standing with him, standing in the gap, holding up his arms, helping him. And that's what we need to do with our political leaders. And while the Holy Ghost is bringing it up and our ministry leaders, because we need your prayers.

19:24 Your president, the vice president, the Senate, all the people, the people that are in authority, your governor, we need your prayers. Oftentimes people, they complain, they complain, they don't like this, they don't like that. Well, stop complaining and start praying. Amen. Amen. That's absolutely right. It's time for to have an attitude of gratitude. And be thankful. And stop belly aching and complaining. Yes. We don't need belly anchors and complainers. We need people that actually know how to pray and thank God.

20:04 And you're absolutely right. A lot of times leaders don't say what they're going through. They don't. They don't, well, you know this and I know this. And yeah, we can confide in each other. And sometimes we may know when something's off with somebody that we have relationship with. Now I'm gonna tell on myself. Go ahead. Okay? Yes. Margie is very dear to me. And we've been friends for, I don't even know how long at this point. It's over 10 years, somewhere between 10 and 15 years, probably. Over 15. Whatever.

20:45 It's been a day or two. And for about a year, every time she would call me or she would text me, she would say, Michael, are you okay? I'm concerned about you. You're on my heart. I'm praying for you. Are you taking care of yourself? And I didn't think anything of it. I was just going on about my normal crazy life, acting like I was still 30 years old. I'm not 30 years old anymore. I'm now 62. And I was still acting like I was 30.

21:26 And my sister would say to me, well, Michael, you're not as young as you used to be. You need to rest. And so what did Michael say to Margie? Michael said to Margie, I'm too busy to rest. I said, I'll rest when I'm dead. That's what I said. I was ignorant. God was putting something on her heart for me, trying to protect me, but I wasn't listening. I wasn't hearing what my sister was saying.

22:07 The Lord was using the Holy Spirit to prompt her to pray for me and to protect me. What happened to me was on Labor Day of this year, just a little over two months ago, I had a stroke and I ended up in the emergency room when I took an ambulance ride because the left side of my face drooped and I began to slur my words and I couldn't walk straight. And I was walking like a drunken sailor, walking into the fence in my backyard as I was trying to do yard work.

22:48 And it didn't have to happen. If I would have listened to the warning, maybe Margie didn't know what it was. Maybe she didn't know how to tell me. So she kept asking me, but I thought about it in retrospect. I'm laying in the hospital and the Lord was bringing back to my remembrance. Don't you remember every time Margie called you or every time Margie texted you, what did she say? And I said, yes, Lord, I remember. Yes, Lord, I remember. See, the Holy Ghost was speaking to her.

23:30 Maybe she didn't recognize it in its entirety or what it all meant, but she was being prompted. I believe her prayer for me, her prayer for me probably saved my life. And here I am by the grace of God, by the prayers of the saints, by those that love me and support me post stroke. And I went to my physical therapy yesterday and I went to my speech therapy yesterday and both the physical therapist and the speech therapist said, you don't need us anymore.

24:13 You're back to yourself. You're discharged. You're done with therapy. Go live your life, enjoy your life, enjoy your ministry and go do what God's called you to do. And so I am very grateful for the prayers of the saints and the love of those that prayed for me. And to only be in the hospital for 48 hours after having a stroke and to be able to now reengage and pick up and do my ministry assignments, I am grateful. But I have learned I can't do what I did before because I was foolish and I didn't listen.

24:58 Be careful when God puts people in your life that love you and care about you and they're trying to speak to you on behalf of God, please listen to them, listen to them. And so my dear sister, I just wanna publicly say thank you. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for praying for me. And thank you for caring about me. I didn't intend on saying that and telling on myself, but this is the importance of we don't know what other leaders are going through. And I can say this because I'm involved in love and unity and I am on the senior council of love and unity.

25:44 Our senior council of love and unity, more than half of us have been attacked physically where we've ended up either in the hospital or we've ended up needing surgery or having surgery. It's happened to at least half of our senior council. We don't know what leaders deal with, but if you deal with stuff in your life, they deal with it even more so. So pray for your leaders, pray for all those. You know, the Bible says it talks about those that rule the house of God well, that those that do that, they're worthy of double honor.

26:32 So every pastor needs prayer. Every evangelist needs prayer. Every apostle needs prayer. Every prophet needs prayer. Every teacher needs prayer. Every kingdom leader needs prayer. And we do need to hold up their hands and support them and pray God's protection over them. And this is very apropos tonight, not just for government leaders, but also for kingdom leaders, even the ones that maybe you don't like or you don't agree with.

27:13 And I've learned one thing. You can't not like somebody that you pray for. If you pray for them, you're gonna end up loving them and you will walk in love with them. Even people that maybe you might disagree with or maybe they rub you the wrong way. But if you yield to the Holy Ghost and pray for them, you will find that you will begin to walk in love with them even if they rubbed you the wrong way. It's the best way that I know to walk in love with people is to pray for people.

27:56 Go ahead, sis. 100%, because when you begin to pray for people, even your enemies, you begin to see them the way God sees them. And oftentimes people, they're just doing the best they can and they don't even see their blind spots. But with respect to people, like for example, like with you and another friend of mine who's another high level leader like yourself, it's like I had a prayer assignment and it's more like what I would say to those of you that are listening. I know Margaret's on tonight and Emmeline, hello girls, hello, these are two women who are outstanding leaders.

28:41 Cathy's on tonight. But I had the concern of the Holy Spirit, I call it. Not just Margie as a person, but something on the inside of me was saying, I'm concerned about him. I'm concerned about this other leader that's in our region. It's a concern, it's a warning, it's a check, it's a red light. And it doesn't mean that there's something wrong with the person. It's more like love and concern and make sure you're taking care of yourself. There was a feeling of make sure you're taking, see what I mean? The interpretation was the concern of the Holy Spirit like a mother would care for her children.

29:22 So I think sometimes many of you who are listening, you get that kind of witness on the inside for somebody. You have a concern, you have a love, that's a prayer assignment. Follow after that. When you follow after love, you're following after God. And like we said, prayer opens up the door for God to work. I'm gonna go to my grave at 95 and I'm gonna be saying that prayer opens up the door for God to work. We have not because we ask not. If we don't pray, God can't intervene and God can't do what he wants to do. Thank you so much for tuning in to today's podcast.
