Prayer for a Nation: Kingdom Connections with Apostle Michael Fram (Part 2)

0:00 You pray it and he can answer it. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. God will put the prayer in your heart to pray so that he can answer it. Goes into the hearts of the people, doesn't return void, it produces results. Out of love, when you love something or someone or your nation, you will pray for your nation. And if you don't love your nation, ask God to give you a love for your nation. And if you don't love your nation, then ask God not only to give you a love, but just understand that people live in your nation.

0:40 And as we pray, it unties the hands of God and it opens up the door for God to work. You know, you have quoted that verse out of James chapter four tonight, twice so far. Quoted you have not. Because you asked not. Because you asked not. And both times that you said it, the Holy Spirit kind of breathed on it to me. I think many times we quote partial verses, but the rest of the verse that we didn't mention is the rest of it says, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend it on your own pleasures.

1:33 So I think, you know, I think it's the King James says that when you ask, you ask amiss. Like you're missing the mark when you're asking. Yes. New American standard says you're asking with wrong motives. That's a little bit easier for us to understand in today's modern vernacular. Asking amiss, we really don't speak that way anymore. That's why sometimes modern translations are beneficial to us. Hello, Maria. Hi, Maria. Love you, honey. Hey, bro. So good to see Dr. Don here tonight. This is like a family reunion.

2:14 Oh yeah, we're having a family reunion. Emmeline, Margaret. I love it. I love it. So, you know, yes, we have not because we ask not. And sometimes when we do ask, we don't ask correctly. We ask with wrong motives. With wrong motives. Exactly. And, you know, when we ask with wrong motives, you know, you said something before and a thought ran through my head when you said it. You said when you're praying for your leader, pray what the Bible says, don't pray what you wanna pray or what you want God to do with that leader.

2:54 And I've seen that so often that people don't pray the word. You know, 1 John tells us, if we ask anything according to his will, we know that he hears us and we forget about the and. We also receive the petitions that we desire from him. So all we have to do for him to hear us and receive what we're asking for is to ask according to his will. Well, asking according to his will is praying the word.

3:36 You said pray what the word says over your leader, whether it's a government leader, whether it's a kingdom leader, you pray what the word says about them. Not your opinion. Not your opinion, not what you want. Let's not ask him this. Let's not ask with wrong motives. Let's ask according to the word of God. I think sometimes we forget that the word of God has been exalted. The Bible is clear, he's exalted his word even above his name. Now we realize that at the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that he is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

4:27 But God has exalted his word even above his name. He says that heaven and earth may pass away, but my word will never pass away. He even said that not one jot or tittle of the word will not be fulfilled. In modern language, that would be not even a little accent mark or punctuation mark will not be fulfilled. That means that God who watches over his word to perform it and bring it to pass.

5:07 Where did the preach come from tonight? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. But that means that even the little apostrophe in the Bible will be fulfilled. So he has exalted his word, pray the word. When you pray the word, you're praying God's will. When you pray the word, you're not asking a miss. You're not asking with wrong motives. And I've seen people pray for their leader and they pray what they wanna see. No, pray what God wants to see over your leader. Pray over your church what the word says.

5:49 Release the word of God in prayer because God will watch over his word. His word is forever settled in heaven. You remember that every time the devil came against Jesus, Jesus said, it is written because what is written is established. What is written is established. I heard apostle Calvin Cook say on one of our Love and Unity Zooms about a week ago that what is written is already an established fact. So when you go to God with what is written, you're going to God what he has already established.

6:37 So when you're praying over your leader, government leader, your president, your prime minister, you're praying over your local pastor, you're praying over your local apostle, you're praying over your spiritual father or spiritual mother, you pray the word. The word will not return unto him void. No, because you're praying his will. You're praying what he thinks. You're praying his will. Absolutely. You're praying his purposes. You're praying his will. And the Bible says if you ask, ask, ask, ask anything according to his will, he hears you.

7:19 And if you know he hears you, which we know he does, we pray according to his will. We know we have confidence that we have the petitions we desire of him. It's like, I like to say it like this. God puts the prayer in our heart and we pray the prayer out that he put in our heart. And it's like this divine communication. And so when we pray his word out of our heart that he put in our heart, it doesn't return void. It accomplishes what he desires. And we know we have the petitions we desire because again, man is God's avenue into the earth.

8:02 That's why he needs people to pray. That's why the Bible says we are the house of prayer. We've got to release his will, release his word, release the prayer. If we just sit here and keep our mouth shut, nothing's gonna happen. That's why I'm just gonna say it. Those of you that think, K'serah, serah, wherever we'll be, we'll be, is not what's gonna be. You have to take your place. You have to pray the word of God. You have to use the name of Jesus. You have to take a stand. Is it easy? It's not easy. I could retire right now. I'm on Medicaid, I'm on Medicare, the whole nine yards, right? But the Lord said it's not a time for you to retire.

8:45 It's a time for you to refire. And many of you who are listening need to refire. Some of you've got your head in the sand, you're discouraged, you're depressed, whatever. Get back up on your feet, take your place, take the word of God, get a new Bible. Get off your phone, get a Bible, get a real Bible, start finding out what the scriptures has to say, start praying the word of God, and you're gonna see things changing in your nation, in your church, even in your families. Some of you are leaders in your own families. Take your place. If you see things happening that are not supposed to be happening, because we do have a devil, the Bible says he's come to kill, steal, and destroy.

9:33 Well, if you see those things happening, get to the word of God, begin to speak the word of God, begin to pray the word of God. Not only that, I might add, pray in the Holy Ghost. Amen. The Bible says if you don't know how to pray or what to pray, he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the spirit, because he makes intercession according to the will of God. It's actually the translators put in the will up. When you're praying in tongues, you're praying according to God. So if you're praying according to God or the will of God, you're praying according to the scriptures.

10:13 The spirit and the word, they agree. So when you're praying in the spirit or praying in tongues or praying in the Holy Ghost, you're praying the word of God, you're praying heaven's mindset, you're praying heaven's purposes, you're praying heaven's plans, you're praying the will of God. And when you're praying according to the way God wants us to pray, things are gonna happen. The crooked ways are gonna be made straight. Rough places are gonna be made plain. Does that mean that hard times aren't gonna come? We are in the world, we are not of the world. We're still in the world. Circumstances are gonna come.

10:54 Things are gonna happen. But you've just got to keep standing. You've got to keep praying. Michael, I have to tell you something. I was speaking in a church regionally last weekend. And by the way, we're having the most amazing meetings just all around, every place we go, because people are getting hungrier and hungrier for God. And God is beginning to, in a fresh way, pour out his spirit. But we had literally 20 people baptized in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. And some of them were leaders in the church. And the pastor said to me, he was such a beautiful man of God, he said, I have to repent.

11:37 I go, why? He goes, I didn't know that some of my leaders weren't filled with the Holy Spirit. I was like, really? I didn't know. He goes, your message was a brave message, because I spoke on the power and the purpose of speaking in tongues. And I said, really? He says, nobody in 20 years has ever spoken on that before. I says, wow, that's really unbelievable. But at the end of the day, the power and the purpose of speaking in tongues, praying in tongues is praying the will of God. Praying the will and the purposes of God. Praying God's will into the earth. The language of heaven is exactly what it is. The language of heaven.

12:19 The prayers of heaven. God giving us the language, the things that we should pray about, it comes up out of us, it manifests in the earth and it produces results. So yes, pray the word of God, speak the word of God, but also pray in tongues. Because when we don't know how to pray, we pray in the Holy Ghost. Concerning Ronald Reagan, we prayed the word of God. We prayed according to Psalms 91. We prayed that no weapon formed against him will prosper. We broke the power of that curse that was on that presidency. And yes, the enemy came in, he tried to shoot and kill him, but it didn't produce what the enemy wanted to produce. Why?

13:00 Because men prayed, women prayed, we stood in the gap, we put up the heads, we bound that curse. We said, no, we're not in agreement with that curse. We say, no, no weapon formed against him will prosper. And as a result, he died in a ripe old age according to Psalms 91 that says, with long life, I will satisfy you and show you my salvation. So concerning, I just wanna say this. I think this is what God said a couple of weeks ago, prayer for a nation. Concerning this 2025, I believe we need to stand in the gap and we need to pray for the president-elect.

13:45 And I really feel in my heart, the concern of the Holy Spirit. And I know other leaders do too. I know I'm not the only one. I'm definitely not a national leader. Thank God. But as a miniature leader, I have a concern of the Holy Spirit that we need to pray prayers of protection over our president-elect. We need to pray Psalms 91 over him. We need to pray the scripture, it's Isaiah 40, something that no weapon formed against him will prosper. We need to pray that God will guide him in his decision-making. We need to pray scriptures. I mean, I don't even know if I have it here.

14:26 We need to pray that God will, the Ephesians prayer for him, that God will give him a spirit of wisdom and revelation. And that I even say this concerning praying for our children in my book, Contents, Stewarding the Hearts and Destinies of Our Children Through Prayer. Pray that God will give him visions and dreams in the night. We can pray for our leaders that God will speak to them, instruct them, guide them, protect them. I mean, I have a quote in here. Abraham Lincoln was a man of prayer. Did you know that? He was a man of prayer, okay? And Abraham Lincoln said, he said, I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go.

15:15 He was a godly man, thank God. My own wisdom, he said, and all that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day. So he bowed his knees to Jesus Christ. He bowed his knees, Abraham Lincoln. So what if you have a leader that doesn't bow his knees to God, right? Or you don't know where that leader stands. That's where you step in as the righteous who are in authority and you pray for that man that is the leader of your country. So that's really what's on my heart. And I really feel now more than ever a sense of concern that we need to pray for the president-elect.

15:58 We need to pray for those that are in authority. We need to pray for our nation. It's not a time for us to draw back. It's a time for us to press in. It's a time for us to believe God, for certain laws to continue to be changed and the momentum to continue to go forward so that when the righteous are in authority, we can continue to rejoice and see change on the behalf of our children, for our children and for our families. Amen. I'm looking at the ticker on the inside of the app here and we've got about 12 minutes to go. I just wanna, because we started late, I just wanna circle back to something that you had mentioned.

16:44 And I see Kim Miller is on and she typed there, that's when all things work together for good, when we pray in tongues. And that's really important because you were quoting out of the end of Romans chapter eight. And that's the place that when we don't know how to pray as we are, that the spirit takes hold together with us. And he who searches the hearts and minds of God helps us to pray when we don't know how to pray so that we can pray. And you know, in that context, in the context of Romans chapter eight, after the spirit takes hold together with us, when we pray in the spirit about the things that we don't know how to pray for as we ought.

17:36 I remember Brother Hagen teaching about that at one point at winter Bible seminar one year. And I was there at homecoming at Rhema. And he's teaching about not knowing how to pray as we ought. And I'll never forget it. We were actually sitting in Rhema Bible Church on the stage behind Brother Hagen because it was so packed. They took some of the alumni up onto the platform and put them on the stage because all the Rhema students were in the auditorium in the main part of the sanctuary. And it was so packed. And so we're sitting up there behind Brother Hagen and this is going back a while.

18:20 I'm gonna date myself. And this was when President Bill Clinton was in office. And Brother Hagen said, well, I don't know how to pray for him as I ought. And then he looked around and he said, do you? And then Brother Hagen said, and then you have his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton. I don't know how to pray for her as I ought. And then he looked around and he said, do you? And of course everybody rhetorically was like, no, Brother Hagen, we don't know either. He says, so we pray in the Holy Ghost. Yes. We pray in this when we don't know how to pray as we ought.

19:04 Yes. And that's when the spirit comes to our aid. He helps us in our weakness. He helps us in our inability when we don't know how to pray as we should. He takes hold together with us. And then in the context of Romans chapter eight, it says right after he talks about that and all things work together for good. Yes. To them that love God and are called according to his purpose. And I am tired of hearing Christians give the scripture a hermeneutical hernia and say, well, don't you know that all things work together for good?

19:50 That's not what Paul said. That's right. In the context, Paul is talking about all the things that you don't know how to pray for as you should. Yes. That you take time to yield to the Holy Ghost and you pray in the Holy Ghost, praying the will of God in harmony and in symphony with God. Then all of those things work together for good. You have no right to claim the promise of all things work together for good if you don't take the time to pray about them yielding to the Holy Spirit in heaven's language.

20:39 Yes. A dear friend of mine, I think you know where she's a local leader, Kelly McCann. One day the Lord spoke to them in one of their services and the Lord said, if you want my results, speak my language. Wow. What a powerful statement that is. We spend more time talking the devil's language instead of God's language. If you want my language- Complaining, complaining about our nation, complaining about the circumstances, complain, complain about the- Speak my language. Yep. So when we yield to the Holy Ghost, thank you Kim for typing that comment in because when I saw that it quickened this thought to me.

21:27 The things that we take the time to yield to the Holy Ghost in prayer about, all of those things work together for good. Not just any old thing works together for good because we're Christians. No, the context, the context, context is king. The context is the things that we take the time to pray about in the Holy Ghost, they work together for our good. I'm sorry, my rant is over. I give you the last word, sis. I think we should pray. Okay, go ahead.

22:08 So heavenly father, I want everyone who is listening on the replay because there's no time and no distance in the spirit. Those of you that are here live, we can pray. So we're gonna pray. We're gonna pray first of all for those that are under authority. So father in the name of Jesus, we just bring Joe Biden before you and the leaders of all the nations that are represented here on this live, this podcast, this whoever is listening on whatever platform. We bring the leaders of our nation before you in the name of Jesus. Father, you said in your word that the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord and that you turn it whatsoever way you will.

22:55 So father, first of all, we pray that you would have mercy on our leaders, have mercy on them, have mercy on them, Lord God, that you'd stretch forth your hands and first of all, have mercy upon them. Secondly, we pray father, that you would turn their hearts toward you, that you would visit them father, even in the nighttime, even in the night seasons, that Jesus, you would reveal yourself to them. Father, you said in your word that the Holy Spirit's job in the earth is to convict and convince the world of their need for Jesus. So specifically father, we thank you for our leaders that the Holy Spirit is here to convict and convince them of their need for Jesus, the Messiah, the anointed one, the ultimate king, the ultimate leader, the ultimate head of the church.

23:54 So father, not only that, we pray that you would give them wisdom. We pray that you would give them guidance. We pray that you would open up the eyes of their understanding. We surround them tonight, today, whenever we're listening with faith, our faith, we surround them with love. We ask that your presence would go with them, that when they sleep at night, they would have rest. So second, also father, we pray for the upcoming leaders for 2025, the leaders of the nations of the world for 2025. We pray father, that you would guide them, protect them, that you would reveal yourself to them as well.

24:34 We pray that the heart of the king, that it's in the hand of the Lord again, that you would guide them, guide them in their decision making process. Father, we pray for divine protection over the leaders that are coming up in 2025. We pray father God, that you would, the angels of the Lord would encamp round about them, that you would protect them in Jesus name, that no weapon formed against these leaders would prosper in the name of Jesus. I pray for all the ministry leaders who are in my sphere of influence and those leaders that are not in my sphere of influence, those that are listening under the sound of my voice. Father, as they sit in their office, I pray that you would manifest your heart to them, manifest your will to them, show them your glory, anoint them to hear, anoint them not only to hear, but anoint them to speak.

25:30 I pray that the Lord of God that is within them would rise up within them and flow forth out of them, sharper than a two-edged sword. And that when your word goes forth, I pray that these leaders would preach your word, a word in season to those that are weary, so that those that are weary would rise up and come up with faith, come up with hope, and come up with new dreams and come up with new vision. And father, when your leaders, your ministry leaders are done speaking, I pray father that your hand would come upon them and that you would just cause them to rest, cause them to be refreshed, that your spirit would come upon them.

26:13 I pray for the ministry leaders that are brokenhearted, those that have said no to the call of God. I pray father that you would heal their broken hearts, that you would cause them to understand the will of God for their lives, that it's not by might, it's not by power, it's not by their striving, but it's by your spirit. So I pray that there would be an igniting of hope in your ministry leaders, an igniting of dreams in your ministry leaders, that you would set them on fire for what you have for them to do. And anything that's not planted by you, I pray father, would be uprooted.

26:56 And I pray that anything that's wood, hang, stubble, that you would take them out of that and by your divine wisdom and grace, you would bring them into the true calling for their lives in the name of Jesus. And I take authority over the fear of man, which is a snare. I take authority over that. I pray that they would only fear you Jesus, and not fear man. And I thank you Lord, I pray that you would give our ministry leaders, Shekada, Pastor. You know, a heart to know you in a deeper way, a heart to want to pray to you, with more of a sense of purpose, meaning that your number one purpose would not just to be to minister to others, but their purpose would be first of all, to minister unto you.

27:50 So I pray that you would revive that sense of purpose, like the apostle Paul, that is that they would know you, that they would have a desire to understand the wonders of your purpose. You restore that purpose, even that purpose, back to your ministry leaders. Shekada, Pastor. In Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Thank you sis so much for being with me again tonight.
