The House of Prayer Part 2

0:00 You pray it and he can answer it. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. God will put the prayer in your heart to pray so that he can answer it. Goes into the hearts of the people, doesn't return void, it produces results. I didn't say a word to anybody, especially when it comes to praying for leaders. And I want you to know something, I didn't pray my own will, I prayed, you know, when I found out the Psalms 91 verse, I started quoting scriptures on faith and healing for him. I didn't pray my own will, I didn't pray my own opinion, I prayed the word of the living God and not my own opinion.

0:46 Stay out of your head when it comes to praying for people. You enter into a realm of witchcraft. So I just, I didn't say a word to him. I just went to Easter for three months, because you know what I think people do? They brag. Oh, I knew all that all along. Well, who cares? Shut up. We should be knowing. We should be. So three months later, now I had a conversation on the phone with this particular ministry leader I had a prayer assignment for. And I'm on the phone with him, and he says to me, yeah, you know, when I was in Florida, he said, I got bit by fire ants, and he's highly allergic to fire ants.

3:03 And he was in the hospital, and the devil was trying to take him out. I sought for a man among them that would stand in the gap and put up the hedge, put up the wall, pray something through to victory on the behalf of even leadership in this day and in this hour. So the Holy Ghost is saying there's a fresh anointing coming on you in your personal private prayer closet. I dare you to go back into prayer and shut the door by yourself with God and yield over to the Holy Spirit of God, the Spirit of grace and supplication, and see what happens when you do that. You know, when nothing happens.

3:43 Let me just share, you know how this all works? When you preach, how many of you teach and preach in here? Do you know what it's like? You get up, and then all of a sudden something kicks in. You start out with what you know. You start out with the person getting up as a person and doing your job, and then all of a sudden something kicks in. The something is not a thing, it's a he, it's a him, it's the Holy Spirit, the person of the Holy Spirit, third person of the Holy Spirit. So number one, so you're gonna be anointed with fresh oil in your prayer closet. Number two, there's coming upon the body of Christ a corporate prayer mantle.

4:24 Jesus said, where two or three are gathered together, there I am in the midst of you. What about if there's a hundred of us gathered together? God said, I will command my blessing. So God is reviving once again corporate, united prayer in the body of Christ. And I don't know about you, but I'm ready for it. How many of you are ready for it? Let's go into this scripture. Ray did all that work with all those scriptures. I did all this work and study and now here we are.

5:08 Where's Ray, is he up there? Ray, Ray, Ray, Ray, Ray, Ray, Ray, Ray, Ray, Ray. Even them, I'm bringing you into a new place of prayer, individually and corporately, get ready for it. 5:54 Sorry. It's like we're preaching to the choir and I got something on the inside stirring on the inside of me. How about we get all these Holy Ghost anointed leaders together under one roof in one place with one heart and one vision and what would happen if they all gathered together in one spot and instead of preaching and teaching to one another, we entered into corporate united prayer, mixed our faith together and stood in the gap for the land and began to pray in the Holy Ghost. It would be like Genesis 11.

6:34 They were all of one heart, one accord, one mind, they had one vision and they had one language and God had to come down and confound their speech and God said, now nothing that they have imagined to do will be impossible for them. Well, let's switch that over into corporate united prayer. We all have one vision, one plan, one purpose, right? And we have a universal language. What's the universal language? And they all began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. That is a universal Holy Ghost language. Now we begin to do that, nothing that we have imagined to do will be impossible.

7:20 As a matter of fact, I hear the Holy Ghost say, you would be surprised because I will do, not maybe, I will do exceedingly, abundantly, above all you could ask hope, dream or desire. I'm just waiting for you to move aside so I can move in. I'm waiting for you to stop showing off and I'm waiting for me to show off and you will just move aside and let me move in. Who was it John that said it, that the prayer closet, there's no showing off in the prayer closet? Was it E.M. Bounds or was it that prophet guy that was really radical? I'll think of his name in a minute.

8:00 So there's coming a fresh anointing. How many of you are ready for that? Even them I will bring to my holy mountain. I'm gonna make them joyful in my house of prayer. Prayer's gonna be fun again. When we used to gather in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Billy Brim, does anybody know Billy Brim? Right? I used to pray with her in her little house and we would enter into prayer for the nations.

8:41 We would operate in the word of knowledge. Did you go to Billy Brim's prayer meetings? But we would operate in the word of wisdom, word of knowledge. She would lead us and guide us into the presence of God. That was fun. He said, I will make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted upon my altar for my house will be called a house of prayer. Now notice it says for all nations, not just a house of teaching. Listen, I'm all for the Ephesians four, five fold ministry gifts he gave some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, pastors, teachers for the perfecting of the station of the work of the ministry for the identify their body to Christ.

9:29 Do we all come to you in the union of faith and the knowledge of the son of God? We need teaching. I'm all for it. But let's make room for God. Let's make room for this anointing. Let's make room for a prayer mantle to begin to descend. Kenneth E. Hagen in his meetings at times, the prayer, the spirit of prayer would fall in the meetings and people would just fall on the floor and cry and weep and groan and pray. Nobody coaching them. Nobody telling them what to do. Nobody telling them how to do it. I believe that that's gonna happen in our generation.

10:15 My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations. I guess we could use that Acts 1-8 scripture, Ray, since it goes with this. We should use some of the scriptures, don't you think? Jesus said, you're gonna receive power when the Holy Ghost is gonna come upon you. There's so much here. And you're gonna be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. You will receive power. He's talking about us being witnesses, right? And operating in boldness and preaching the word. But I want you to look at this scripture with the eyes of prayer.

10:58 Even what he just said to us. You're gonna receive power when the Holy Ghost has come upon you in your intimate time alone with him and in the corporate body. It's a fresh anointing. And you are gonna pray and you're gonna be witnesses in this regard, but in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the other most parts of the world. I would like to put it to you like this if I may. You're gonna pray, your Jerusalem is your family, your friends and your church, first of all. Number two, your Judea is the northeast. I'm gonna anoint you to pray for the northeast.

11:40 After you've prayed for your family and your friends and after you've prayed for your church, I'm gonna anoint you to pray for the northeast. Then Samaria, what's our Samaria? Can I put it like this? The United States, which is what we're gonna do tonight. Can I have like five more minutes? And then the other most parts of the world. Then our prayers are gonna go to the other most parts of the world. The nations of the world. I personally, I read corporate, United, corporate prayer for a church in South Jersey. We've been doing it two years. We call it prayer school now. We used to call it book of acts prayer. Book of acts prayers, they all prayed at once, they all prayed in tongues, they all were loud.

12:23 I like that. But we decided to call it prayer school because that's really what it is. The school of prayer. I personally don't always lead them into prayer for the nations because they're not ready for it. I don't wanna lead them. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. I don't wanna lead them into something they can't handle. Do you know what the beauty of King of Kings is? You can handle it. You're a house of prayer for all nations. One of the key scriptures over this house is ask of me for what?

13:07 The nations. The nations. And the uttermost parts of the world are your possession. Amen. Ian Bounds, and we'll close with this, says, God shapes the world through prayer. Can't you just see the world? He's the potter. The world is the clay. When we pray, he shapes the world. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man or woman avails much.

13:49 You pray, God shapes the world through prayer. The more prayer there is in the world, the better the world will be. Joyce Meyer said, I already said it, I thought it was my quote, but it really came from her. Aren't you glad we can disciple one another? When the disciples said, Lord teach us to pray, the truth is there's different ways you can learn how to pray. You can learn by the Holy Spirit teaching you. The anointing that abides in you will teach you. That's how I learned how to pray in my prayer closet. But you can also learn through people like me or people like Pastor Trisha or in others. Prayer opens up the door for God to work.

14:32 Prayer opens up the door for God to work. Lastly, wishing should never be a substitute for prayer. Can I just show you something? You see this? One, two, three, four, five pages of notes. Roman numeral number one, Roman numeral number two, three, four, five, six, seven, A, B, C, one, two, three. Da, da, da, da, da, da, da. How many of you love it when the Holy Ghost just takes over? We primarily talked about the prayer of intercessions and God was able to teach you the deeper truths because you were ready for it.

15:15 I'm gonna ask Pastor if we could pass out the little cards. Is it raining outside? They've been calling for this all day. I don't believe them anymore. I'm just like, really? While he's passing them out, I just wanna say that I don't know of any other churches that I'm in a relationship with that they have a midweek service. Marcia, do you? This is a midweek service.

15:56 This is amazing. Because the church, a lot of people have gotten really lazy. This is no lazy church. This is a radical church. This is a pioneering church. This is a church that's gonna reach the nations through prayer and through the word of God. Does everybody have one? I'm gonna ask you to stand. I just heard it again in my spirit. God shapes the world through prayer. The more prayer there is in the world, the better the world will see.

16:38 Do you know that when you pray about something, you may not see visible results right away? You may not see the world through prayer. You may not see visible results right away. That's why Jesus gave us an answer to that big question. Why didn't it happen right away? He said, men ought to always pray, and what? Not faint. Don't faint if you don't see visible results. I thank you for the mantle of prayer, the measure that I carry that you've graced me with.
