The Purpose and Results of Praying in Tongues | Part 2

0:00 You pray it and he can answer it. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. God will put the prayer in your heart to pray so that he can answer it. Goes into the hearts of the people, doesn't return void, it produces results. This is fun for me. My goodness. I can't. I haven't been here in so long. Just gonna teach my line upon line. Nice little message. Just teach and here we go. This is in my notes. I'm on page fourth sentence.

0:46 Thank you, Pastor John. Do you understand that I could never flow like this if your leader wasn't a Holy Ghost man and his wife? I go some churches. Oh, I gotta tell you this story. I go some churches and it's like, I'll never go back there again. It's like you can say that but then you'll, you know, you never know, right? Never say never. But your words come out, they hit the back of the church, they hit you in the head. You feel like you've been through, how many of you experienced that? World War III. You get home, you're exhausted. Meetings like this, you go home, you wanna run through a troop and leap over a wall and you're just all ready to go. Because you're all built up, charged, and edified.

1:26 That's what the Holy Ghost does. So getting back to my friend who wrote the book Seven Days with a Witch. She was a high level witch person. They got her saved. I'm not gonna get into the whole story. It's Seven Days with a Witch by Don Allen. I tell this story often because like you, I wanna understand the laws of the spirit. I teach on prayer a lot. But I also wanna understand the other side. Do you know, do you know what they said about tongues? She said, yeah. All the other languages, if I had the book with me, I wasn't planning on sharing. All the other languages we understand.

2:12 Jesus, help us, teach us to pray. Lord, I pray that you would teach the body to pray. That that which we have neglected, that you'd revive it. She said, we understand all the other languages. She said when Christians start praying in tongues, she said, we don't know what to do with it. All we know is that when they pray in tongues, it demolishes our works. It confuses our plans. We can't do what we want to do because they're praying in this language. The devil doesn't understand it, but God understands it. Not only that, I was gonna teach it.

2:53 Not only that, when you pray in an unknown tongue, you are praying the language of heaven. You are praying in another dimension. You are bypassing your mind, because that is Bible, you don't understand. You're bypassing your mind, and you're operating out of what Lisa talked about yesterday, out of that other dimension in the realm of the spirit. And what God wants to do is he wants us to begin to pray more in the Holy Ghost than we've ever prayed in the Holy Ghost before. The apostle himself said, I thank my God. I speak in tongues more than you all.

3:38 We've neglected it. I see it all over. I see it in the churches. I see wherever I go. People are, and that's why some of you are bored with church. You start praying in the Holy Ghost at home, and you all come together, and everybody's been praying in the Holy Ghost at home, it'll be an explosion. All right. Well, I didn't get very far. God is calling forth a renewed surge, or renewal of praying in tongues, or also known as praying in the spirit. And this is because of the speed at which he wants to advance the building of the kingdom in this hour.

4:25 When you pray in tongues, and I feel there's some of you that need to take some time and go pray in tongues for days. Go take, devote yourself to, as the Bible says, devote yourself to prayer. Say, I make a decision, I've done it, and it's seasonal, some of this. I make a decision, I'm gonna go into my room, Matthew six is, I'm gonna shut the door. I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I got a lot of decisions to make. I need some wisdom. Instead of praying, yeah, if any man lack wisdom, let him ask about, but you know, when you speak in tongues, you're speaking the wisdom of God in a mystery. I think some of us need to, and I know me too, I'm in a crossroad, I'm at this place, this thing in here.

5:09 Go take time, shut the door, pray in the Holy Ghost. Well, how long am I gonna pray in the Holy Ghost? Certainly not five minutes. You can pray five minutes, but see, I'm of the mindset, Jesus even said, couldn't you watch one hour? But you know, I too, much is given, much is required, and there's so many decisions required of leadership. I think we need to not only build ourselves up and charge ourselves up, we need to pray out the wisdom of God that's a mystery right now concerning where God is taking us, and when we walk away from that place, that three days, that four days, whatever it takes, whatever God says to you, you walk, I think some of us are behind in our praying in tongues.

5:59 When you walk away from that place of prayer, you may be doing the dishes or vacuuming the floor. I hope you guys help your wives out, or whatever, driving the car, and all of a sudden, you get a thought. Hold on, where does the thought come from? They that are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. Conscience is the voice of your spirit. Thoughts from the Holy Spirit, scriptures from the Holy Spirit, you shut your mind, you look on the inside, you'll be driving in your car all of a sudden, here comes a thought, an idea, an answer to the solution, an answer to the problem, a solution to the problem.

6:49 You pray in the Holy Ghost, and when you're going your everyday walk, he'll cause your thoughts to become agreeable with his thoughts, then your plans will succeed. Three more minutes, this is supposed to be a teaching, but when you pray in the Holy Ghost, you're praying his plans, his purposes, his will. Romans 8, 28, when you pray in tongues, you're praying according to what? The will of God. What does 1 John 5 say? This is the confidence that I can have.

7:30 You know, you can have confidence when you pray in tongues that that prayer opens up the door for God to work, that that prayer prepares the way, that that prayer is demolishing the evil works of darkness, that that prayer is helping us to fulfill and build the kingdom in this region. This is the confidence that I have in him, not in us. I can't, we can't make, how do you fight against, we're not wrestling against flesh and blood. How do you fight against what's going on in the schools? This is the confidence that I have in him. Christ in us, the hope of glory. It's him. The light is shining and rising.

8:12 That if I ask anything according to his will, he hears me. You pray in tongues, what if, and if I know he hears me, I know we have the petitions. What about Jesus when he was at the tomb of Lazarus? Lazarus, impossible. He's dead, how many days past? Four days, impossible. And everybody around him is in unbelief. Can you imagine? He walks up to the tomb. Do you know he didn't pray anything? Read your Bible. He walked up to the tomb, and I wasn't planning on talking about this, I don't have it fresh, but I believe the first thing he did was weep.

8:55 Jesus wept, Jeremiah 9, 1, I pray that God would give us tears for the lost in the place of intercession. Jesus wept, and then he groaned in the spirit and was troubled. That is a type of prayer. I'm really surprised that I'm talking about that this morning. You must be well fed and ready to hear it. Because you can't teach this kind of teaching everywhere. He groaned in the spirit and he was troubled. And then he looked up into heaven and he said, Father, you see, tongues is a supernatural language.

9:39 It's the language of heaven. It's not a language you understand, it's spirit to spirit. I thank you that you have heard me and that you hear me always when I what? Pray. What were the results of his prayer? He that was dead came forth. Not only that, he told the disciples and the people around there, he said, loose them and let them go. All the grave clothes came off, whatever killed them in the first place came off. He was raised from the dead. The power gifts are in manifestation right there in front of him.

10:19 This is not, didn't go the way I thought, but we're good. I just wanna read this one last thing and we're gonna close. There's no pride involved. When you pray in tongues, no pride. No reason, no selfish ambition. You leaders, we can have selfish ambition. That's why we go through all kinds of hell. I'm not saying God caused it, but it crushes us so that we're laying like pancakes on the floor. Then it's like, here we are.

11:00 Then you realize it's not me, it's you God, help me, help me. The greatest prayer a leader could pray is help me. Help me. It's a pure language that originates from the heart of God. Do you understand? He gives us the prayer to pray. We just have to yield. And he accomplished his will in any particular prayer focus. Lastly, I wanted to read this one last thing. I tried to say it, but it didn't come out right. When you pray in tongues, you are praying God's solution to problems.

11:42 And God's answers to questions. Therefore, all things work together for the good to them that love God and are called according to his purpose. Amen. Ha, ha. God. Amen. Maybe you're not supposed to say this in church, but today was fun. Thank God for the Holy Spirit. So this is what we're gonna do. I'm gonna ask everyone to stand. Those of you that are home, do you think you could get up off your couch and stand?

12:26 Come on, stand up. I feel like the Lord is kinda getting over that a little bit. I'm not saying you can't watch online. How many of you know what I'm talking about? I have a YouTube channel. We got it all going on. Yes. I'm saying when it's a lazy spirit, we need to get back in church and support our leadership. Support one another. Oh good, I don't have to give because I'm watching online and nobody's gonna see that I'm not giving. You thought it, I said it. Okay, this is what we're gonna do. We're gonna pray a prayer for those that are here that have never received the baptism of the Holy Spirit to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

13:18 Now what would you suggest? Would you suggest they just do it in their seats? If you would like to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues, come on up. And let me just say this. Let me just say this. Everyone that asks, every single one that asks receives. He that seeks finds. Some of you have been knocking at the door. I know there's more. Some of you have been knocking at the door and wanna be filled with the Holy Spirit.

13:58 I want that prayer language like my sister, like my brother, like pastor. I want that prayer language. You've been knocking at the door. Today's your day. Well, let me ask you something. Do you have to come up to release your prayer language? Well, it may not seem like the case, but I'm actually a high level introvert and I actually used to be super shy when I was growing up. And so when I got filled with the Holy Ghost, it would have been better for me to stay in the back of the church. Do you see what I mean? So there's no condemnation if you didn't come up because you could receive, remember we said it, right in your seat.

14:38 Because there's no distance. The Holy Spirit is right here hovering over you even now. And those of you that are at home, you could receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit right in your couch. Go ahead, sit down. You could sit, not you guys. You could sit back down in your couch and receive the Holy Spirit. Whatever prayer posture you want, we've had multiple hundreds and hundreds of people fill the Holy Ghost online. All right, so this is what we're gonna do. We only have four, but I can guarantee there's probably many, many more in here. So this is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna make sure you're all saved. When I went to Guatemala, it was kinda scary to me that people were ministering the baptism of the Holy Spirit in that foreign country and they weren't making or having them pray the prayer of salvation.

15:27 Because there's all kinds of stuff out, especially in these other countries. So what I always do because I'm responsible leader, I wanna make sure you know Jesus, you're born again. So we're gonna pray the prayer of salvation and then we're gonna pray for you to release your prayer lines. So here's the key. See the Holy, I need some ushers. The Holy Ghost is already on her. Hallelujah. He's already on you. Just remember, when the Holy Ghost comes upon you and rises up inside you, you do the speaking. Stay with me. You do the speaking. He's not gonna make you say or she's gonna start.

16:11 Thank you, Lord. He la basho rabba satare che ste, no can't stay, no can't stay. I command you in the name of Jesus to loose her and let her go. She will receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. She will flow and she will know in the name of Jesus, I command the blood of Jesus is against you and I thank you in the name of Jesus for absolute and total deliverance in Jesus' name. That's all right. We're all, it's all good. So remember, you do the speaking. He's not gonna come on you and make you say or do something you don't wanna say or do, especially if you're a thinker.

16:57 Right, you can think, think, think, and think. No, you just yield to the Holy Ghost and release your language. Are you all ready? She's gonna start speaking in tongues. Now the devil didn't want her to be filled with the Holy Ghost. All right, you ready? Let's all pray together. You ready? Say Heavenly Father. I come before you in the name of Jesus, your Son who gave himself for me. Jesus, I believe, I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead and you died for my sin and I accept you today into my heart to be the Lord of my life and now Jesus, I'm asking you to endued me with power from on high.

17:58 Holy Spirit, come upon me. Holy Spirit, rise up inside me and I will, I will begin to speak in other tongues as you give me utterance. All right, now everybody speak. Rob Şuondis, Bubba while I'm awake. You receive Jesus' grace. We receive this holy while we yoke with the Holy Ghost. You receive the Holy Ghost. He can come. Is that my speaking? Yes, yes. Yes. I trust that he is.

19:21 Just go ahead. Keep praying congregation. Keep praying. Keep praying congregation. That's him, just go ahead and speak. Speak to him what's in your heart. There you go honey, that's him. That's him. There you go, there you go, there you go, there you go.

20:07 There you go, there you go, there you go. He that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not unto man but unto God. Okay now stop. Okay. Now we're going to go ahead and start again just to show you that you do the speaking, that you can pray in tongues anytime you want.

20:54 So now this is how we're going to do it back here. And to those of you online, you've got something in your, why don't we pray for this region in tongues. So are you good with taking the next, it's 1204. You good with taking the next four minutes, five minutes to pray in tongues. I'll make sure you get out of here. I'll turn this over to Pastor John before 1215. Let's pray for this region for the next six minutes. And those of you that released your prayer language, I want you to release it again. Remember, you do the speaking. Alright, you ready? Let's go ahead and start again. And our prayer focus is praying for the region.

21:36 Your plans, your purposes, your wisdom. What do you want? What do you desire to do? Lord, cause our thoughts to become agreeable with your thoughts. I'm going to pray some things in English, but I want you guys to agree with me in tongues and pray over and above what I'm praying in English. Father, I thank you for this region. I pray, Father, you said in your word to ask for the rain at the time of the latter rain.

24:15 You said in your word, Father, that you promised to pour out your Spirit on all flesh, that your sons and your daughters would prophesy. You said in your word that you would pour floods upon the dry ground and rivers in the desert. So, Father, we ask that you would manifest your glory. We ask that you would manifest your Spirit. We ask that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of you, the eyes of our understanding that there would be a greater measure of wisdom and revelation and knowledge concerning the word of God, concerning the things of your Spirit, your Holy Spirit.

25:00 Father, we ask for the heathen. We ask that you, for the heathen. We ask, Father God, we lay one hand on you and one hand on those that we know that don't know you. She's speaking in tongues now. Should we release your prayer language? Yeah, she's speaking in tongues. Who the sun sets free is free indeed.

26:01 Praise you, Jesus. Praise you. Oh, you really got your, somebody's excited. Somebody's excited. Okay. Okay. Now stop. Somebody's excited. Praise you, Jesus. I feel this really strong in my heart and I'm going to ask Pastor John to take over or whoever's in charge.

26:44 There are some of you that need to set aside some time in your daily lives and even in your devotional time, there's some things, mysteries that God wants to reveal to you, some wisdom he wants to impart to you. Some of you are, I'm just feeling this so strong. You've got some decisions you've got to make and you don't know what to do so we do know how to pray. Pray in the Holy Ghost. Start with an hour and I'm going to tell you what will happen is if you have the time, you'll hit a gusher and next thing you know you're like praying in tongues for an hour and 15 minutes and your mind is just no longer like, all right, I just got to yield to what she's doing in the Spirit.
