The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

This episode explores the Christian claim that Jesus Christ uniquely died for humanity’s sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead. Drawing from the bible passages, we examine the biblical accounts of Jesus appearing to His disciples, Peter, Paul, James, and more than 500 people. We also consider the significance of these reported eyewitnesses, the transformation of people such as Peter and Paul, and the willingness of early Christians to endure persecution and death while proclaiming that they encountered the risen Christ. We also address the significance of the empty tomb and the claim that Jesus’ body was never found.

Ultimately, the episode presents the resurrection of Jesus Christ as the central foundation of the Christian faith. Each person must decide how to respond to the claims of Jesus and belief that salvation is found only through Jesus Christ.
