This episode of Mavericks & Misfits doesn't shy away from controversial territory, exploring the nature of demons as disembodied spirits possibly connected to the Nephilim of Genesis 6, and how these entities actively seek human hosts to express their perverse desires. What makes this teaching particularly urgent is its connection to end-times deception and the emerging narrative around extraterrestrial phenomena. Scripture tells us plainly that Satan and his host reign from the air – that might mean something more practical than we realize. The good news is that Christ has already disarmed these powers through His cross and resurrection, and we have been given authority over all demonic forces. But authority without activation is meaningless. This isn't about becoming obsessed with demons or supposed extraterrestrial life forms, but about being biblically informed, spiritually discerning, and walking in the freedom that Christ purchased for us. Many of us may need deliverance from areas where we've unknowingly partnered with deception, and there's no shame in that. The question is: Will we continue living beneath our spiritual inheritance, or will we rise up as the victorious church we're called to be?
