It’s a New Day—No More Delay

This is Diane Lake, your host, and I'm going to be sharing how you can understand and apply the prophetic through practical terms, practical ways, and practical means that make it relevant to everyday life so that you can prepare the way for the Lord's purposes to manifest in the earth. This is the podcast show Preparing the Way, The Practical Prophetic. Well hey guys and welcome to today's episode number 57 titled it's a new day no more delay. Well it's like a new chapter has opened up in the spiritual realm. Let's start by reading Isaiah 42 9 in the New King James. It says behold the former things have come to pass and new things I declare before they spring forth I tell you of them.

0:53 The Lord often illustrates what he's been speaking to me prophetically through what is happening in the natural realm in our lives. Currently, my husband and I are building a significantly sized addition onto the existing ranch house that we bought, and it will pretty much double its size. On the day we broke ground, I sensed the Lord saying, it's a day of new beginnings, it's a new day. It's like we're starting a new chapter here the first two years at the ranch could be called the ranch Moved and the new title the new chapter called the ranch improved Friends my sense is that there's a much larger prophetic picture being Illustrated here than just what is being demonstrated in our lives For whatever reason the Lord often makes me live the word before I can release it to others My prayer is that the Lord will use the examples that I share here today to encourage you in your particular circumstances as you begin your new chapter in your life. Several weeks before we started this project, I awoke one night to hear the Lord say, no more delay. Wow that got my attention now as I prayed and pondered over this word that I heard I began thinking about things had been delayed in our lives Building this addition was one of them. We had actually been talking and planning for this for about two and a half years

2:26 Another one was restored health because despite hearing the Lord say that turnaround is here Elements of healing have yet to be realized in our lives. Now you can go back to the previous episode and listen to that one on turnaround where I get into more detail in that word. I could go on, but I'm sure you have experienced delay in your life as well. The scripture that the Lord brought to mind concerning this word of no more delay was Jeremiah 1, 11, and 12. So let's read that in the New King James. It says, Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see the branch of an almond tree, Jeremiah speaking. Then the Lord said to Jeremiah, you have seen well, for I am ready to perform my word. The name used for the almond tree in this passage, the Hebrew word, means wakeful, as the almond tree was the first tree to wake from the sleep of winter, and it was a sign that the hard frost was leaving and new life would begin. It was meant to symbolize, it's a figure of speech, meant to symbolize the speedy and certain fulfillment of the word that the Lord had just been speaking to Jeremiah in the verses previous to this. Now, despite the many challenges and uncertainties surrounding building this new addition, the word of no delay gave us the confidence to start.

3:54 I pray that it may awaken your confidence to start if you are also being delayed on something that you are planning to undertake in your life. Now the next section is called taking the plunge and I want to start out by reading Matthew 8 13 in the new King James It says then Jesus said to the centurion go your way as you have believed So let it be done for you and his servant was healed that same hour Now as I said, we had some major challenges with this project. Some of the major challenges had to do with the site itself. The power main had to be moved off of that end of the house. The location of the well limited the footprint how big we could build. But the biggest concern of all I would say would be the rock pile at the end of the house. It's rocky terrain. And we're like, how are we going to dig a basement? Because there really did need to be a basement to make what we needed to work.

4:52 Other concerns included that we had a previous contracting business for many years, but it was located in an area over two hours away. So that means all the subcontractors and suppliers that we had built good relationships with and loyalty with would be too far away to use. So it would be like starting from scratch. And as I said, there have been some health concerns. My husband has over 40 years of general contracting experience. but we wondered was his health good enough for him to undertake a project of this size. And then we had a good prophetic friend give my husband a word that he would be healed as he moved forward to build this project. As he was in process, he would be healed. Now that confirmed a sense that I had that I expressed to my husband. I didn't hear it in a form of a word, but I just sensed it. So this was great confirmation, a very good word to receive. We took a deep breath, dedicated the site, rented excavation equipment, and prayed for the best. We took the plunge.

5:56 Now you ask the Lord if he would have you take the plunge in an area of your life as well, all right? And now I want to talk about every need supplied because this is a very good word for you and for me as well. Let's start by reading Philippians 419 in the New King James. It says, and my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in Christ Jesus. Shortly before breaking ground on the project, I had a dream. In this dream, a guy was showing me a kind of diorama, a little box used to illustrate things. He took me to a certain corner, or directed my attention to a certain corner, and he said, if you look up there, you will find your name. It was the upper right hand corner, I think. And at first I didn't believe him, but sure enough, there was my name. I saw a little figure that looked like me, clearly represented me. It was a bit crude in a way, almost childlike in its representation, and it even had the long hair.

6:59 Now, the idea that was present in the dream was that God was looking down on me. It's as if in this dream I needed to pay some bills or something and God was saying don't worry about it I've got this it's taken care of every need supplied Now I am watching this play out, this word, with this project because we have seen God's fingerprints all over it from the very beginning. There have been so many examples that my husband recently made a list of them all so that we wouldn't forget them. The first thing that happened was our lead contractor came out of retirement to work on the project for us. Then we began seeing all kinds of favor with suppliers and subcontractors.

7:41 We rented a large excavator for the price of a smaller one. Then we were able to keep it for a month for the same price as a week. Concrete and gravel trucks just seemed to be at the ready and able to deliver. deliver loads whenever we needed them very rapidly. In some cases within hours instead of waiting for weeks. And there seemed to be always the perfect amount on the trucks. In fact one load of concrete was so precise that my husband said that in over 40 years of construction he had never seen a load so exact. Next on his list was the well leak that we experienced now remember I said the well placement limited the fit the footprint of the build so much so that we have actually built a It's already been constructed. We've built a porch over top of the well. Now that is not recommended in case you have maintenance issues with your well, but we plan to replace the pump just as preventative maintenance to help prevent that kind of situation.

8:46 But before we could do that, we were still in the excavation and I think pouring the basement stage. The well started leaking. and that turned out to be a gift because the approximately 25 year old connection between the well and the line simply rotted away. We were able to dig everything up and replace every single part so that someday we won't have to dismantle that porch to do some maintenance and we were able to turn the water back on later that same day. I don't even know how that how that happened so speedily but It did because it was God. Then there was the role of roof paper. Another example, we had been we had a role left from a job one time and we brought it with us in the move. Because it's kind of expensive, you don't want to just waste it, right? But we didn't we didn't think we'd have enough. So we bought two more rules.

9:40 but somehow that leftover roll that we brought with us just kept going and going and going to the point that when we were done rolling that roll over the roof we were done and had two inches left over. Didn't need those extra rolls whatsoever. So the pattern that we've seen emerge in this build is that there is always enough. Nothing lacking, wasted or extra. But perhaps the most dramatic example concerns digging the basement in that rocky terrain that I was talking about. Somehow the rock seemed brittle enough and the excavator could break it up pretty easily. And then after one day of digging, so we thought it would probably take two days to excavate this basement, if all went well, after one day of digging that night, I had a dream. I saw the existing house on his crawlspace foundation.

10:38 the bedrock that it was sitting on. Now though we discovered that's probably why they didn't put a basement under this house because it's literally sitting on bedrock and it looked like a rock wall because remember we had been digging for a day and now we can see the house and the exposed bedrock it just looked like the house is sitting on a rock wall. Then in the stream I heard the Lord say a wall of hope is being released. Now I do want to mention that if you go to the article format of this word on our website www .starfireinternational .com I have posted personal pictures of many of these illustrations So when I'm talking about a wall of hope being released, which I'm going to mention here, of course that it is actually literally illustrated with my own picks so you might want to find that and and look at it it's pretty interesting. So the next morning I'm thinking about this word and I remember that the evening before I'd actually said out loud to myself I don't know why but I feel so full of hope. Now at lunchtime that day I was talking with the excavator and he kept saying you have got to go take a look you have got to go take a look because at this point he'd dug another half day right in the basement he said is literally surrounded by rock walls on three sides. It sits on bedrock. In other words, he ducked down nine feet as far as we needed to go and he hit bedrock. It was like there was a shelf. So the existing house sits on bedrock and so does the addition. And not only that,

12:10 we couldn't go further in any direction. The rock. didn't break apart anymore. It was literal solid rock. So even in front we couldn't go any further because of the well. He just kept shaking his head and saying this just doesn't happen. This just doesn't happen. He had never seen anything like it in all of his years of excavation. We had just enough room for that basement and nothing extra. A very dramatic example of that. And then it all started coming together. The reason that I had felt a surge of hope the evening before and how the dream and real life were just colliding together to illustrate what the Lord was doing in this season. I could not find mention of a wall of hope in scripture. However, I feel that Zechariah 9, 11, and 12 infers one. So let's read that in the New King James. It says, ask for you also because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today, I declare that I will restore double to you. Now in the New Living translation, the term waterless pit is rendered as waterless dungeon. So that effectively paints a picture of imprisonment by walls of despair, the opposite of hope. But I hear the Lord saying I am turning your prison of despair into a fortress of hope

13:40 No longer will the walls confine you instead. They will be your firm foundation stabilizing protecting and surrounding you with my presence and provision Wow, that is a good word. I receive it. I pray you do as well Now a final thing that the Lord has recently been speaking to me about is that he's calling people all over the world to step up their prayers for President Donald Trump. In a time of prayer recently, I saw a chess board and I felt like the Lord said that the kings of this world are plotting to take out President Trump. But God's plan is for him to triumph. But it will take the response of the body of Christ, the saints around the world, to prevent this plot from happening and from succeeding. So just close in prayer with me, if you would, in agreement. Lord, we pray that this call to increased intercession for President Trump will be answered all over the world. And we ask you, Lord, that this word of hope would be received well in the body of Christ. And may we all be filled with hope. as we enter this new season of no delay and fulfillment. Amen.
