0:00 And I just thank God that I may be a knucklehead, but Jesus loves the people I encounter as much as He loves me. And I don't care if you're a stock trader or a doctor or an asphalt layer. I don't care what you're doing. Every person that you encounter wants and needs to hear from heaven, whether they know they want and need to hear from heaven or not. And if you can quit being a Christian long enough and just be Jesus to them, they'll feel love that's not you, and they'll want it.

We have with us a very special guest, James Stone, and he has been kind of on our radar as a companion in the ministry and doing all kinds of things in the background of things. But we're just getting to know him better as far as what he does for a living. He is a praying, prophesying plumber.

2:09 So James, thank you so much for joining us today. We are so excited to have you. Thank you for inviting me. Well, indeed a pleasure. Well, we needed some plumbing done not too long ago. Well, I won't go into the details of what happened, but you came to our rescue and it just happened. It just happened that you were able to come on a Friday. So you were able to minister for our Friday night live worship service on YouTube and Facebook. And we've gotten to know a little bit more about you in this way. And we just felt like these kind of stories that you're telling are stories that are going to help our listeners.

2:50 So our thing here is about contending for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and equipping for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit so that we can engage in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Well, you are a walking engagement in the outpouring everywhere you go. Tell us what the Lord showed you about this 15 foot radius around you. Well, that's really interesting because I began to pray about the Lord's prayer and I began to study what the Lord's prayer is. And part of that prayer is, Father, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And so I asked myself, how does God's will happen in heaven? And so I understand this, that God's will in heaven happens perfectly with no hindrances.

3:36 And heaven is eat up with raw faith, trust, love, all about God. And this earthly kingdom is eat up with doubt, unbelief, and mistrust. And we reflect in our nature the kingdom we're more rightly related to. And so I'm looking around the world trying to find a place where God's will is happening on earth the way it's happening in heaven. And I'm convicted in my heart by heaven that it's my heart he's talking about and that he wants to create in my heart a place where his will can happen perfectly. And as I assessed my life, I realized that I've not let that happen. I have reflected in my nature doubt and unbelief many, many times, raised in the church, but did not understand that I was putting a cap on what God could do.

4:24 So I began to pray about this and the Lord began to unfold it over a period of time. It didn't happen overnight. But I realized that science tells us that our heart has an electromagnetic field that goes away from us and extends out to up to 15 feet. And so when we create that environment, we partner with heaven and create that environment in us where God's will can happen in our heart like it does in heaven. Then for 15 feet in every direction from where we're standing or standing, that's the kingdom of God. And that allows the authority of heaven to go before us and come behind us and be on all sides of us. And it allows a thousand to fall at your side and 10,000 to your right hand and nothing comes close to you.

5:07 Amen. Wow. So tell us, Philip was trying to tell me a story that you related to him about a guy that came into a restaurant where you were eating, then he was chewing out his wife and what happened? Well, we've all had these experiences where we're just sitting here and our spiritual mood is hungry. We're not praying. We're not upset. We're not interceding. We're just trying to feed. And so you're just in a neutral mentality and somebody walks into a restaurant with a bad mood. Maybe they're fussing with their spouse or their partner, whoever it is. And before you know it, you're feeling uncomfortable because it's getting loud and you're hearing things you don't want to hear.

5:49 And what we don't understand when that happens, we've let their spirit come and dominate ours. And so we as Christians, as believers, as kingdom believers, we need to understand that 15 foot radius is the kingdom of God and the authority of heaven walks within that realm. And so literally every demon within that radius is subject to the authority of the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. And so literally when somebody walks into our presence with a bad mood, they are the ones that should be altered, not because of me, but because of the presence of God that inhabits my praise because my life is laid down worship and God inhabits the praise of his people. And so everywhere we go, people should recognize the presence, whether they can identify it or not, it should change who they are.

6:36 But we've all had that experience where we're sitting in a restaurant or in a public place and maybe a couple of walks in and they're, you know, maybe they're on a date and they just get all ushy and icky and you know, that gets off on everybody in the room, you know? Next thing you know what, you're ready to go, you know, because you want to go be alone with your spouse, you know? And it just changes who we are and we let that affect us, but truly we're supposed to be changing the world with that. And the most incredible dynamic of that is, you know, not so much that he inhabits that, which is a really amazing thing, is that God multiplies, he doesn't add. And so if a thousand falls at your side and 10,000 at your right hand, it's a multiplying factor of 10.

7:17 So if I do this and you do this, then that's not 60 feet, that's 300 feet. And if Philip joins with this, that's multiplied again by a factor of 10. So now we're going up to 3,000. And so it just, you know, that's how 12 people could change the world in such a short time, is the synergy math of God changes everything. That is tremendous. So tell us the story about the lady that was so contrary and had such an ugly atmosphere around her and you were called to do a plumbing job for her. Well, several years ago we had a bad freeze and we had put everything on hold, all of our new stuff, and we were only doing emergency service work so that we could get people's water restored.

8:04 And so I had a lady call me and she wanted a faucet in a kitchen changed out. And I told her, I said, well, I can't do that right now. Right now I'm only doing emergency service. This is an emergency for me. And I was like, well, I have people that don't have water. They can't flush their toilets, you know, they can't take a shower, they can't be clean, they can't cook. And so, you know, that's all we're doing. I said the earliest I can be at your house is on a Thursday. You know, it's like a week and a half out or whatever. And so this amazing lady, she has a farmhouse that her farmhand lives in. She turns the gas off his house, freezes his pipes, calls me back the next day.

8:47 I've got frozen pipes. Can you come to my house? Oh, she did that on purpose. Yes, yes, yes. Well, that was mean. And so I go, I uncover what's going on in the house. And this lady happens to be one of the most foul mouthed, filthy talking people I've ever been around. Wow. And so in the construction trade, I'm around a lot of this. Yeah, I hear that. And she has eclipsed some of the worst mouthed guys I've ever been around. Wow. You know, but for whatever reason, you know, when I was younger, I may have asked her not to talk that way around me because, you know, I'm a reverend, you know. But I didn't do that. You know, I didn't do it on purpose or whatever. But you know, I learned a long time ago, people need to experience God.

9:30 They don't need to experience my relationship. They need to experience God. And so if I have to tell you about my relationship with God, then it's probably not very impactful. And so it was really interesting, though, because I fixed the guy's water, got his water back on and said, since you're here, would you look at my kitchen sink? And so I said, OK, you know, so I go up there because I'm a nice guy. I'm kind of gruff and mean sometimes, but I'm a nice guy at heart. And so I go up here to look at what's going on and she don't have the right parts. And she said, but when can you come back? I said, next Thursday. And so the following Thursday, I'm in her house and I had been back a couple of times during the week to work on the farmhouse because it kept having a problem.

10:17 And I'm sitting in the middle of her kitchen floor and she looks at me from across the room and she said the most unexpected words that I would have expected to come out of her mouth. And she's looking down at me because I'm sitting in the floor and she says, James, I love it when you come to my house. Goodness just comes off of you. And this has been several years ago. And I really did not know what to say. How do you reply to that? Do you get up and start preaching or do you just say thank you? And I learned a long time ago that there's a lot of false humility in the church, in the kingdom, in the body of Christ.

10:57 You go up and thank somebody for a song and they're like, oh no, that was the Lord. The Lord gave me that song. Well, I think the Lord could have wrote that last verse just a little bit better. I don't thank God. But you don't want to contend with people, but you bless them and they take your blessing and push it back because they say they're not worthy to receive them. And that's really what they're saying. And I learned this a while back that when somebody comes up and says thank you, I say you're welcome. When I get in my private place, I say, hey God, look what I got that belongs to you. Because there's nothing good in me.

11:38 If you look at me and see something amazing, that's Jesus in me. And so when you're thanking me, you're actually praising God. But the only God you've seen is the one I'm carrying around. So you superimpose that on me. And so when I get in my prayer closet, I give that to God. Well, everything you give to God, he blesses it and gives it back to you. And so I began to learn through that experience that the authority of the believer is real. The authority of the kingdom of heaven is real. And I knew this in my head the whole time, but I didn't practice it in my spirit. And so I realized that when I walk into that room, that 15 feet radius, every demon that's screaming in somebody's life is suspended from being able to communicate with that person while I'm there because that demon is subject to the authority of Jesus.

12:33 And so in that moment while I'm in their house, working on their pipe, replacing the sink, unplugging a toilet, I mean, whatever I'm doing, guess what? The demons that are hindering their life is not working. And so everything I say can go straight to the heart and penetrate to the core of who they are. And so the Lord had spoke to me several years previous to this. I'm driving down a gravel road. I'm actually listening to a Bill Johnson tape, you know, or CD or whatever. And I turn it down. It's a sunny spring day and I turn it down because there's people in a yard and I'll slow way down and they're out there doing a wedding or something, you know, and I didn't want to throw dust all over the yard and I didn't want to be a noise invasion.

13:20 And the Lord spoke to me and He said, turn that back up, slow down, but turn it back up because I'm going to make you a Trojan horse and you're going to carry me into places where I'm not welcome. Wow. I didn't know what to think about that. I didn't know that in just a few short days I'm going to be a plumber and I'm going to be going into all these houses for believers, unbelievers, witches, the demonic, you know, I mean, all of them, you know, backslidden Christians, people that have a form of godliness, but they're denying the power. I was in all their houses. And you know what, when you got a plumbing problem, you don't care who comes. It could be a Hare Krishna, it could be a Jehovah's Witness or a Pentecostal preacher. Just, you know, get my sewer out of my house, you know?

14:02 And so while I was there, God allowed me to be able to speak His voice into people's lives, not because I had the knowledge, but because I had Jesus and He taught me this through a process that they're open to hear from heaven because He walks before me, He walks behind me, He walks on all sides of me. And it changed the way I do business. It changed the way I encounter every individual person. And this lady actually winds up getting saved. I don't pray her through to salvation. Somebody else did that. Yeah, but you did your part. But I did my part by letting her encounter Jesus instead of encounter me. Beautiful. And I've done that quite by accident.

14:43 I didn't do it on purpose. But God used that encounter to teach me that I could actually do this and be a tool in the hand of the Lord and not even know it. Wow. So it was amazing. Wow. Well, tell us the story about the policeman that had the bad back. Yeah, this was a few years later. There was another freeze. And we were close to a month, month and a half, getting everybody stubbed. And all the plumbers in the area had shut down, like I said before, doing any kind of new work. And all the contractors know that we're not going to be on the job as long as people don't have water because it is the plumbers responsibility to protect the health of the nation. And if you do not have running water, that's important.

15:25 And so this guy called me and begged me to come to his house. And we're at the end of this process. And I go over there and when I pull up in his driveway, he literally jumps and runs toward my truck. I've not had that reaction very many times. My wife don't even jump and run toward me, maybe away from me sometimes. Depends on what you've been working on. Yeah. But it's just really amazing because he jumps up the truck and I jump out and we start talking about his leak. And we begin to start, for whatever reason, talking about father's heart to heal his kids. And I tell him, I said, it's always God's will to heal his kids. And I go to the scripture and I talk about the Fair Phoenician lady who petitioned Jesus and Jesus was ignoring her.

16:13 And he turns her down when she finally does ask him. He turns her down in no polite way. The second time, he tells her, it wouldn't be good for me to give the children's bread to the dogs. And most of you listening to this know this story, so I don't have to give you all the details. But she persisted against the revealed will of heaven and said, well, even the dogs get the crumbs off the master's table. And she heard these words, be it to you whatsoever you will. And I think that's an amazing thing because even against our trained theological doctrinal belief structure, if we'll pursue heaven on the outside of that, we can get what we need.

16:55 Because doctrine may tell us God don't do this anymore. But we have reality that says, and we actually have scriptural reference that says, I can pursue heaven if I have a greater revelation of who God is and what he wants to do for me. I can get from heaven what I need for my kids, for my husband, for my wife, for my mother, my father, my grandkids, my cousins, whoever it is. And so we're talking about this. And I talked to him about the 15 foot area around me and I talked to him about that being the kingdom of God because in my heart is Jesus Christ. And that's who I carry with me. Quite by chance, I guess, it was actually God that did it, but I wasn't thinking. I just looked at him and I said, look here, man.

17:38 I said, when I leave, you can be in pain, but while I'm here, you can't hurt. Had no idea what I was saying. He crammed his hand down his pocket and he pulls out a bottle of high-powered pain medication. He shows it to me. He says, I take two of these three times a day to function. I was actually going into my pocket when you pulled up. And when I saw you, I jumped and ran towards your truck for some reason. And I've not hurt since you've been here. Glory to God. And it sounds prideful. It sounds pompous. But I looked at him and I said, well, man, you have a decision then. When I leave, you can either take a pill or you can receive what heaven has done for you. And he calls me like three months later and he says, man, I talked to my pastor about it and we don't believe in this kind of thing.

18:23 He told me I'm crazy and you're crazy too. But I've not taken another pill. Glory to God. And then I haven't talked to him in two, three, four years. It's been a long time. And one day in a local convenience store, I had went in to get a cup of coffee. And while I'm walking back toward the front of the store, I see a uniformed deputy. He walks through the door. He looks at me and he throws both of his hands in the air and he bends over at a 90 degree angle and starts twisting around. And of course everybody's looking, what's this deputy doing bound to this fat plumber? And he looks at me and he says, it still works.

19:05 Glory to God. It took me a minute to make the connection because I wasn't thinking about this encounter at the moment. But as soon as I made the connection, I just wanted to get to my truck and say, Jesus, look what I got that belongs to you. Beautiful. Because it's an amazing thing because it works and it works better than anything we can possibly make up or imagine. And it's just so amazing to be able to do this. Wow. Glory to God. Well, tell us the story of the lady that you went out to her house and then you had to go and get some parts and it was going to take a long time. Had an entourage there waiting. This was really interesting because I've heard other people have encounters like this and they were more dramatic than what I experienced.

19:49 And so I never looked for these encounters. When I was growing up, people talk about the Holy Ghost and fire make you want to go devil hunting with a switch. Well, see, that's just stupid. If I'm going to go devil hunting, it better be with a supernatural weapon. So I don't look for demons, but I encountered demons because they run from the authority and I see them when they're running. Amen. Or they'll turn around. I had one turn around and make a face at me one time in Branson. I didn't know what to do. I was like, man, we're in a mall. I remember this lady calls me and she says, Hey, I got a problem with my sewer.

20:34 Can you come? I was like, yeah, I can come. And I said an appointment and I went out to her place on time and I didn't sense anything. I didn't feel anything. I knock on her door, nothing. She's like a normal housewife or granny woman, whatever you want to call her. She says it's around back. You can see it. Somebody's already been digging on it. And sure enough, I get back there, identify the situation. I know what I need to fix it because I'm equipped. I know what I'm doing. It makes a difference when you know what you're doing. And so I go back to her door and I say, I know what I got to have, but I got to run back to the supply house. And it's about a 25, 30 minute drive, maybe a little longer from her house to where I've got to go.

21:19 So I'd tell her I'm going to be back in about an hour and a half or two hours because the drive in the drive back to time in the store, it was lunchtime. So I got something to eat. But when I got back, it was really funny because she lived way off the road, but there was a bunch of cars in a driveway. I just, I knew it was 12, you know, and I counted them. You know, sure enough, it's 12 and there's 12 people, male and female standing in the driveway. And as soon as I started to open the door, I didn't know what was going on. The Lord says, Hey, I got this. So I know I'm going to be okay, whatever this is, but I didn't know this was for me. And as I, my feet hit the ground, the first person in the line approached me to say something.

22:00 And the Lord put this word in me and I looked at her and I said, lady, and I told her how old she was when she laid on her bed, looking at a poster on a closet door, and she decided to pursue the dark arts and reject Jesus Christ. And she looked at me and she dropped the stuff that was in her hands and she got in her car and she drove away. And we went 11 more times. Each one of them got a prophetic word or a word of knowledge that told them when they chose to reject Jesus and pursue magic. Okay. Except for one who the word they got was, you never made the choice. Your parents gave you in the womb to Satan and her parents died in an accident.

22:46 She was delivered on the side of the road, dedicated to Satan before she was ever born with no covering now. You know, and that person left too. And so I'm standing there alone in the driveway, 12 clouds of dust going up the road and these books and charms and potions laying in the driveway because they all left their stuff there. And I go to the door to this lady's house and she's standing there and I said, Hey, you want to have a conversation or what? And she says, look, why don't you just fix my sewer and get up out of here? She didn't use those exact words. You use your imagination. But I said, okay. And I went and I fixed her stuff and I'm going to collect money, you know, it's time to get a check.

23:26 So I go back in her house and I make her a bill out and she says, you just need to know you're on our list. And I said, well, you just be rest and sure that you're on my list too. Okay. I later found out she's the head of a witch coven. Okay. And those were 12 of her apprentice witches, you know, and, you know, so, and they had came to, they had come there to curse me because she recognized in me something that they hated. Yeah. Okay. She didn't know nothing about me. And they had no idea what was fixed to happen. You know, a couple of years later, this lady calls me, she asked me if I remember her. She tells me where she, and I remembered that, you know, and she says, well, I need you to come see me.

24:06 I said, where yet? She said, I'm in the hospital and I show up at the hospital. She's dying. She has just a few days to live. She has cancer. And she said, if this Jesus that you preach is real, then I need him to show up in my life. And I pray for her there and she gets saved and God restores her and she lives through four more years and she lives long enough to lead all 12 of those people to Jesus that stood in that driveway. Wow. You know, and so it's just really amazing. So now she's on a different list. Yes. Glory to God. Glory to God. So how did you get into this? Like we know that you grew up in the church, Pentecostal church, and you started preaching when you were 14.

24:47 So you know, you've been in the ministry for a long, long, long time, but how did you get to this point where you recognize this authority and where this kind of miraculous thing was happening? Well, you know, it's kind of like getting dirty. You don't know what you stink until somebody else tells you. And you're like, well, you're right. I need to get a shower, change these clothes. A lot of times when you pursue heaven, heaven comes along for the ride because he said, if you seek me and keep on seeking me, you'll find me. If you knock and keep knocking, you'll... And so, you know, we have a lot of pseudo Christians that are pursuing a lot of things with part of their heart and they're pursuing other things with the rest of their heart.

25:33 Come on. And so, you're just only getting part of anything. You're never getting all of it. Okay? And so, I surrounded myself with some amazing people in those days. We were going to a church in North Carolina, and I'm gonna throw their name in here because I just think the world and all of them, but Doug and Kathy Rowe, they pastor a church in North Carolina, and they had such a pastor's heart and a pastor's mantle. And I grew up... In the short time we were with them, I grew up so much in Jesus. Wonderful. And I've been exposed to all the different ministries that we all know and listen to so many different people. You know, the Bible says that there's a famine of the hearing of the Word, but there's not a famine of good teaching and preaching.

26:16 Yeah. Whoa. You know, we need the Word of Heaven that reigns a word right now. Okay? And so, I began to pursue this. And one day, I'm at home, and I'm just there with my wife and my two little ones, and God begins to just deal with me. And He tells me in my spirit that there's fixing to be a political shift in the Northeast, specifically Massachusetts. And I tell my wife, I said, something's fixing to happen in this Northeast state that is going to change the balance of political power in the United States. And I didn't tell anybody else but her, because I didn't have a platform, I didn't have a mic.

26:59 Nobody was listening to me. Nobody could care less what I say. And so, just like three weeks later, Ted Kennedy dies. Oh, wow. And a Republican gets that seat for the first time in 50 years and change the balance of the Senate, the US Senate. Wow. And that was God's confirmation to me that I've put something in you that's real. Yes. And like three or four days later, I had lost my job. Wow. Okay? And we went from making $75,000 a year to $10 an hour. And it changed our life. Wow. And I said, well, I'm sitting in my car. I just got home from work and this lady calls and wants to sell me Amway. And she's like, you know, please. I told her, I said, I don't have the money to buy nothing.

27:40 If they were selling river boats, a dime a dozen, all I could do is run up and down the river bank saying, ain't that cheap, you know? Because I had $0 in my pocket. I understand exactly what it's like to turn the couch upside down and shake it for coins to go by milk for your kids. I know exactly what that's like because I lived it. And so she says, look, man, if you'll listen to my presentation, I get paid. If you don't, I don't get paid. I said, I'll make you a deal. I said, if you will give me your presentation and give me time to talk to you when we're done, then I will listen to you. Okay. And so she spends 15 minutes trying to sell me Amway. She's, are you ready to sign up?

28:21 I said, ma'am, I've told you, I don't have the money, but now you got to listen to me because you promised you would. And I give her a word of knowledge and I said, you was abandoned as a child. And I said, you're a musician, but as you were passed as a teenager through foster home to foster home to foster home to foster home, you begin to give up on the arts. And the last thing you left behind was a keyboard and you've not touched the keys since you left that last place. And you're an adult now, but you don't even look back on what was given to you as a child as a gift from God. And I could hear her crying. She said, I was abandoned by my parents and I came up as in foster, but because I was a teenager, I was passed from house to house to house to house.

29:09 And I caught so much nonsense from people having to move my guitar, move my horns, move my, you know, the last thing I left was a keyboard and I touched it since then. And I began to witness to her and tell her about the love of Jesus. And I said, now I know you need to go off the home because your sugar bear is waiting. That's exactly what I said. She goes, how do you know I call him sugar bear? And so those kinds of things begin to happen. You know, it wasn't in church. It happened outside of the church. You know, I was doing a sales job and I encountered this lady in Waynesville, North Carolina, and I'm trying to sell her something. I have an appointment. She's late, but I wait because I don't have anything else to do because I'm broke, you know?

29:50 And when she gets there, I get a word of knowledge and I say, you got four kids. You got a set of twins and two others. These are your twins' names and this is your other kid's names. This is their personalities and this is how you tell your twins apart. I'm blown away by the word I just got, you know, because I, you know, I mean, I just, you can't make that up, you know? And she's looking at me as stone-faced as you can possibly be. Okay? Doesn't move her at all. And the Lord pushes me from the inside out and I said, well, let me tell you something else about you. I said, I see you at nine years old.

30:32 You're standing at a fence in front of a house beside an oak tree. There's an old white car there and you're holding on to a pair of jeans that's got legs in them. There's holes in these jeans around the knee. And I see daddy's hands push your shoulders away and push you back away from away from the car. He turns around, walks and gets in the car and drives away. That would break her. And immediately it pierced her heart. And she said, when I was nine years old, that exact encounter happened with my father and I have not seen him since then. But he called me this week and said he's gotten saved.

31:16 And he wants to come this weekend and meet his grandkids who were teenagers. So this encounter, give her courage to say, God was there. He saw me and I wasn't alone. And that was so amazing. And so I realized at that point that God has poured something in me. Because I was doing this sales job, I was fairly good at it until I realized I was having to lie. The sales pitch we were giving people was bad and it was a bad product. I didn't know. I was just trying to make a dollar. But I decided I didn't want to be in sales because it reminded me a lot of my spiritual upbringing that people would tell you stuff that sounded good that really didn't work.

32:02 And so you would buy into it and then you go and you was out there alone trying this stuff out and you would fall flat on your face. And so through that time, I began to quit studying the Bible to preach. And I started studying the Bible to live. That's so good. Because every time in the past I'd ever open the Bible, I was opening the Bible to prove what I know. Oh, wow. And when I would try to prove what I know in my brain, then I would say, yeah, I'm going to preach. I'll preach it like this. And so now I study the Bible to live. That's so good. I'm going to minister out of the content of my heart, out of the content of my life. Wow, wow, wow. So explain for us, explain for our listeners what it's like to get a word of knowledge.

32:46 It's kind of like having a brain that works. Jesus says, my sheep know my voice and a stranger they won't follow. Now I'm a radio guy. So I like, I don't listen to the radio now, but when I was younger, I loved listening to the radio. And we would have favorite radio stations when you were younger. And when you would get on the edge of that radio station, it would start fizzing in and out, you know, and that static would take over. Other radio stations would bleed over the top of it. But if it was a show that you like, say it was a talk show that you really liked, you could actually sit there and listen to the guys that you like to hear through all that static. You know, those other voices coming into that frequency.

33:29 And you could pick out that what you wanted to hear. You remember doing that when you were listening to the radio when you was younger? Okay, that's what listening to heaven is like. Because heaven is always broadcasting, always. But there's a competition for your reception in the spirit realm. So there's always stuff flying through the airways of your brain. And what we have to do is be in such relationship with Jesus that we pick his voice out through the static. Oh, that's so good. That's good. You know, and if we live with a lot of static in our lives, then maybe we need to move closer to the station. Exactly. You know? But sometimes God will send you to the limits.

34:11 And you have to be able to pick his voice out of all the static. Because as much as heaven's trying to get your attention, there's a demonic horde that wants your attention as well. Second Corinthians 3.18 says, what we look at, we become. You know, and so if you're only dwelling on the static and saying, man, I can't hear heaven, guess what? There'll always be that for you. But if you'll learn his character, you'll be able to pick him out of a crowd. And if I'm sitting in a crowd of 50 people and everybody's talking, I can hear my wife talking no matter if she's talking to me or not. Because I know her voice. Beautiful. Sometimes it brings me peace.

34:53 Sometimes it brings me a shiver. You know, depending on what I've been up to. But I can always pick her voice out. And we should be so in tune with heaven. But see, he whispers his truth. And if we'll hear that, every person you walk into, whether you're in the supermarket, you're at the gas station, you're getting your hair done, you're at work, God wants to speak to every person you encounter. And you can do it. When I first got married, I'm learning this. It's tough. I'll sit down in a restaurant. It's like listening to 50 different radio stations at one time because I could hear the anxiety of every person in the room. And you can talk to my wife. You can ask her.

35:34 I would excuse myself half done with the meal because it would physically make me sick. I had to learn how to hear this and how to discern what I need to say when I need to say it. Because you know what? Jesus didn't heal every person he encountered. There's times where he healed them all. But the man at the gate, beautiful, Jesus passed him by dozens of times in his life. But he was saving that one for Peter and John. So not every person you encounter should you stop, break down, and start trying to preach to them. But I do know this, is that the Bible was written as a guideline for how to be a Christian, not how to get saved.

36:18 And so we have a lot of Christians just trying to carry the Bible to the world when in fact we need signs and wonders. That brings them to Jesus. And then they learn how to be a Christian. Yeah. So tell us about the time that you were fighting with your wife. Which time would you like to know about? You only told us one story like that. No, we actually made a mistake one time and moved to a place that we shouldn't have moved to. We didn't hear from heaven, right? And so we didn't have a good time while we were there. Because when you get out of the will of God, nothing really works. So you have to get off that wrong road and get back on the right road.

37:02 And so we had made a decision, we had issues there, but you have to walk this out. And so one day we're there, we're not fighting about this. I don't even remember what we're fighting about. But I know that it's not just a pokey in the belly fuss. We're yelling slamming doors kind of stuff. And where we was at, we did not have good cell reception, nor very good internet. And my phone rang in the house. And so I answer it. And I know I need to answer it because it rang. And so, and this guy says, Hey, man, you don't know me, but this guy, and he gave me a name, give me your number, said you could help me. And I'm thinking he's got a plumbing issue. And with the current environment in my house, I'm willing to go do whatever just to be away from this for a little bit, you know?

37:47 And so he said, man, my brother has had a wreck and he's dying on the side of the road. Could you please come and pray for my brother? And I said, where's he at? And he told me, and it's about 45 minutes from where I'm at. And I said, well, I will start that way. And I told my wife, I said, I got to go. And she sensed it immediately and began to pray. Okay. So it broke down the fight. Yeah. Oh yeah. You can't fight in the presence of God. Isn't God good? Oh yeah. He's so kind. And so I take off and I go and it's 45 minutes. I drive to where I got to be. I come up on the accident. There's not one single cop. There's not no firefighters, no trucks, no ambulance.

38:30 Nobody's there. There's just bystanders that had stopped. And there was a couple EMTs that were in their personally owned vehicles, had stopped to check on the wreck, found the guy and was trying to do CPR. Okay. Well, I find the brother and I say, Hey man, I'm James. You called me. He says, yeah, thank you for coming. He said, my brother's right up there. It's not good. And so I start walking that way. And when I get close, the EMTs wave me off and they said, Hey man, you don't need to be up here. So look, man, I'm a minister and this family called me and asked me to come pray for the brother. And they said, there's no need for you to come up here and pray. This guy was dead when we started, but we can't stop. And I said, look, whether he's dead or not, it'll give this family great peace if they know I came up here and prayed.

39:14 They said, well, you do whatever you want, but you just need to know he's dead when you get here. So don't be expecting anything. And I said, well, that's fine. And so I don't have a raise the dead ministry. I've listened to a lot of David Hogan stuff, but I'm not going around raising the dead every day, but I'm not even going to try to describe the shape of this body. He was ejected partially from his truck and the truck rolled nine times. Seven of those times his body was under the truck. And so he was beat up beyond looking like a human being and he was not breathing. There was no movement. There was no heartbeat. And I kneeled down and kind of pointed my knees to where his shoulders are supposed to be.

39:57 And his head is close to my knees. And I just began to pray and I put my hands out in front of me. I didn't touch him. And I said, God, give this man a chance. I said, give this man a chance. I said it twice, 45 seconds. All of a sudden this man sucks in a breath. Now he can't move because every bone in his body is broke. But he pulls in this breath and all of a sudden these EMTs who are going through motions, all of a sudden come alive. It's like a Christian when the Holy Ghost falls. You're sitting there half asleep and somebody jumps up and shouts, you know, and all of a sudden now you're right there in it. Well, that's where they were. And they say, Hey man, you've been in a really bad accident, but you've got help on the way.

40:38 I heard a siren four miles down the road. They're almost there. They said, Hey, this man's a minister. And they pointed at me and he's been praying for you. And this guy looked up at me and I couldn't move his head. Okay. So his eyeballs rolled back in his head and he looked at me through the top of his head, literally, because that part of his head was just smashed in, you know, and it was the most gruesome thing I've ever seen. But at the same time, I'll never get it out of my mind. I don't want to because I never want to forget this encounter. He rolled his eyes up and looked at me and says, help me, man, help me. And I said, you need to call in the name of Jesus. He can help you. Probably didn't say it exactly that way.

41:19 I said, you need to ask Jesus for help. And he said, Jesus, help me. Jesus, help me. And he sucked in a breath and released that breath and it went out of him and he quit breathing. And he went to heaven. Isn't that amazing? And so there's a lot of broader story to this, how this affected me, but we won't go there right now. But I walked down to his family and I looked at him and I said, hey, I said, your brother just went to be with Jesus. I said, but before he did, he asked Jesus to help him. And I said, and his hand is strong. If you want to see him in heaven, you call me and I'll sit down with you. We'll go through the process.

42:01 And they disappeared. I just went home. Weren't they a rough family? Terrible family. One of the roughest families in that part of the state. Wow. And I didn't know them because I'm not that kind of rough, you know? But I am rough, but not that kind. Eight months later, I get a call and it's this brother and he says, hey man, we're having a family reunion. It was the first time they all had gotten together since this guy died. I want you to come and minister to my family. And that wasn't the first time that it happened for me, but it's a weird deal because he might want me to be there, but the rest of them might not. But I agreed to go to him.

42:42 I went and they pushed a cooler up next to me and it had plenty to drink in it. I sat there for two hours and I ministered the kingdom of God to this family and close to 50 of them get saved. Glory to God. And it was the most amazing thing, but they filled up a 55 gallon trash can full of drug and drug paraphernalia. Wow. You know, so much I had to call a local deputy, ask him to come get this stuff and do away with it. And I followed up with this deputy months and months later, who's no longer a deputy here, but he says that this was one of the roughest families in the county and now they're one of the best families in the county. And he said the generation of children getting out of high school right now is the first generation in this entire family line that's not in trouble with the law by the time they get out of high school.

43:30 You know, completely changed. You know, they're involved in all kinds of outreach programs and celebrate recoveries and you know, so it was a real transition. So this was an amazing experience that brought forth tremendous fruit, even though you were in a place that you really weren't supposed to be as far as heaven was concerned, but it's kind of like, well, as long as he's there, let's get this done. You know, my point is that Romans 8 28 works everywhere. No matter if we've stepped out of the will of God and we've just stepped back in, he'll use us wherever we are.

44:12 So I just want to encourage our listeners that no matter where you are in your walk, in your journey, you are in a position where God can use you if you'll just yield to him. That's correct. And I just thank God that I may be a knucklehead, but Jesus loves the people I encounter as much as he loves me. Yes. You know, and it works. If you'll truly seek the Lord, you'll find him and you'll find him in the most unassuming places. I don't care if you're a stock trader or a doctor or a asphalt layer. I don't care what you're doing. Every person that you encounter wants and needs to hear from heaven, whether they know they want and need to hear from heaven or not.

44:58 Yes. And if you can quit being a Christian long enough and just be Jesus to them, they'll feel love that's not you and they'll want it. Yes. That's beautiful. That is beautiful. That is so powerful. So can you just pray for our listeners? Yeah. Yeah. Jesus, we just thank you. We thank you for the sacrifice that you made. And we pray in your name that every person that has encountered you would begin to understand that you love your kids and every person that walks around is your children, not just the Christians. And so you love every person on the earth, not just the good people, and you want every person redeemed.

45:43 And Moses said, I would that all of God's people prophesy. Yes. And so Lord, I come into agreement with that prayer right now. And Lord, we ask that every person under the sound of this podcast, no matter when they listen to it, will be pricked in their heart that salvation is not the end. It's a means to an end. The Holy Spirit and His gifts are not the end. They're a means to an end. The end is to create an environment on the earth in my heart where God's will can happen here like it does in heaven. And then to partner with those that are of like mind so that we can walk through a culture and change that culture.

46:29 We want to culture the earth and be heaven to those that we encounter. I ask you for that in Jesus' name. I speak rest and peace over those that are listening. There's a lot of troubled minds, a lot of troubled hearts. And I just thank you that you are the God of peace and that your hand is not small. It's strong on behalf of those that you care for. And I just pray for a manifestation of that in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Well, thank you so much for being with us today, James.
