Pastor Alex Clattenberg witnessed the Jesus Movement firsthand, led a thriving youth ministry during the Jesus People era, helped organize massive Jesus festivals that drew thousands, and later founded Church in the Son in Central Florida. He also played an important role in the earliest days of Charisma and has spent decades mentoring pastors and Christian leaders.
Now, after more than half a century of ministry, Clattenberg shares what he believes the next generation of pastors needs to understand.
Clattenberg also shares firsthand memories from the Jesus Movement, including the Rock House youth ministry and a Jesus festival near Walt Disney World that drew approximately 12,000 people. Steve and Alex reflect on their friendship, the beginnings of Charisma, and what God was doing among young people during that remarkable period.
